00:00Let's play Plead the Fifth with Orlando and the Freak Show on Wild 94.1.
00:14Hooked up by 1-800-ASK-GARY. Now, who's taking the stand?
00:19That is Merit Deasy stepping up there to get sworn in.
00:23Oh, Lord.
00:24Yeah.
00:25It's time.
00:26Don't you lie.
00:28Alright, you are ready.
00:29I guess.
00:30Plead the Fifth.
00:31Cheer it up.
00:32Woo!
00:33This is a good public service for us to get to know the innards of Merit.
00:39Yes.
00:39So, these questions are very valuable.
00:42Three from inside the room.
00:44Three from out there in the audience.
00:45You get one pass and one boomerang that you got to make everybody else answer.
00:49But it has to be a question that you answer.
00:51Number one, Buck Nasty.
00:54Boom.
00:54First of all, happy Mother's Day, Meredith.
00:57Mama.
00:59As a man, I know it's impossible to always please the mama, the mama bear.
01:06Right.
01:07So, what's the one damn thing that Anthony messed up on yesterday?
01:11Oh.
01:13Messed up?
01:13On Mother's Day, you can always call it out.
01:17Something you wasn't happy about.
01:19What was it?
01:20What was it?
01:21What did he mess up on?
01:22He did pretty good.
01:23I will say that.
01:23You know, I didn't expect anything, but I got flowers and candy and a really thoughtful gift
01:27from the kids.
01:28But I kind of wanted to just be left alone a little bit more.
01:32I'm just going to be honest with you.
01:34I just kind of wanted to be kept to myself.
01:36Ain't that the day that everybody's supposed to be in your face, though?
01:38Yeah, I know.
01:38Loving up on you?
01:39Especially after half the day.
01:40I was like, I just want to be home.
01:42She's been adamant about that for like two weeks.
01:44I want to lay in bed.
01:46No, but see, everybody, but people are going to ask him what he did for you.
01:50And if he says, oh, I just left her alone, it's going to make him look bad.
01:53That's why dudes go hard.
01:56That's why I'm serious.
01:57That's why they go hard.
01:57Yeah, I mean, the gifting and all that stuff was really sweet, and I loved it.
02:00But yeah, I just kind of wanted to sleep all day, but that didn't happen.
02:03I got a question about, you know, the game, how it started, how it's going?
02:08Yeah.
02:08We're going to play how it started, how it's going.
02:10Okay.
02:11All right, Meredith, I want you to tell me about Meredith's first and last physical fight.
02:19A physical fight?
02:21How have you, what was the first physical fight you got in in your life?
02:26And what was the last, and how did they go?
02:30How did it go?
02:31Okay, the first fight I was ever in was in kinder care.
02:39There was this little bee that was there, and we used to get in so many fights every single day after school.
02:48And my mom was working late at the mall, and she was a manager at some jewelry store.
02:52And it was just like, it got so bad, like physical fighting, hair pulling, scratching, that we had to be separated into different classrooms.
03:00So I had to leave, like, all my friends.
03:02I got put into, like, a different classroom.
03:04Okay.
03:04Now I'm very zen.
03:06Now you're zen.
03:07How's it going now?
03:07That was the first fight.
03:08What was the last fight?
03:09The last physical fight was probably my roommate from college.
03:15We were hanging out at, what is it, Halloween Horror Nights.
03:19And she just kept bumping into me and just being a little sloppy drunk and just wouldn't listen to me and stepping on the back of my sandal, you know, it'll make a trip.
03:30And it kept happening, and I told her to stop.
03:32And it was so many people.
03:34We were hot and sweaty, and then finally I looked at her and dead in her face.
03:38You said, I got time to do it.
03:39I will.
03:40I am ducting.
03:41Here with your ass.
03:42I was like, you know, it's about to happen.
03:45And she was like, ah, da, da, da, da.
03:47And we kept walking.
03:47She stepped again on the back of my sandal after, like, 20 times.
03:52Boy, I turned around, and I just went a little crazy on her ass.
03:55Wow.
03:56Yeah, that was in college.
03:56They got there.
03:57You made the Christmas date.
03:58Yeah.
03:59Then we had a ride home together back to Jacksonville.
04:01It was really weird, so.
04:02So, okay, Meredith, I want to know about the first time you and Anthony did the hibbity-dibbity.
04:11But what I want to know is how long did you wait?
04:15How long did you wait until you put out?
04:19Okay.
04:19And was that a little bit above average, a little bit longer than normal, or a little shorter?
04:25Did you make Anthony wait longer?
04:27Yeah, yeah.
04:28How long did you wait to put out?
04:29I'm going to say, I think it was between two to three months that I made him wait.
04:34Ooh.
04:35Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:36So, however, the first evening, I did invite him back to my place, and it was super, it
04:42ended up being, like, super late into the night.
04:44So, we did, like, make out, like, first, second base, but there was never a home run.
04:48First base is kissing.
04:50Right, second base.
04:51Second base is topsies, right?
04:52Yeah, playing with stuff.
04:53Okay.
04:54Playing with stuff?
04:55I don't like what you said.
04:56I said topsies.
04:57That means above the clothes.
04:59Right, yeah, yeah.
05:00You was in the clothes?
05:02I mean, I took the top off.
05:04Oh, damn.
05:06The bases throw me off, y'all.
05:08We really need to solidify the real bases.
05:10True, we need to go over that.
05:11Because that changes this whole answer, and we're like, yo, okay.
05:13But then, after a little while of just that, and having some fun and making out and stuff
05:18like that, I kicked him out.
05:19And then, I think I went on vacation with my girls, and then I got involved with work,
05:24so we had to wait a long time, and going out again.
05:27So, I think it was like two to three months.
05:30Yeah, I remember that's how long it waited.
05:31You know what's sad is when you don't get it, and then you go on vacation with your girls,
05:36because this whole time, while you go on, he thinking, I bet you she'd give it to somebody.
05:39Yeah, I didn't work up for that.
05:42Crazy.
05:42Now, somebody has said the second half of Dobby's question, you didn't answer.
05:46Went unanswered, yeah.
05:47He had a second part.
05:49I asked if that was about normal, or if that was a little longer than usual.
05:52You made the three months.
05:53Well, you was giving it away.
05:55Hey, I'm sorry.
05:56We know you, man.
05:57Tell the truth.
05:58Not true.
05:59Hey.
05:59I mean, come on.
06:00I mean, as far as average is concerned, was it faster or slower?
06:04That was above average.
06:05It was.
06:07It was.
06:07I mean, because if you love him, you're going to make him wait.
06:09Yeah, that's pretty much what happened.
06:11Wow.
06:12Okay.
06:13All right.
06:13You dance.
06:15All right.
06:15So, we got a text coming in.
06:16888-429-0941.
06:19Somebody has a very blunt question for you, and they mentioned it in the text.
06:23Meredith, let's keep it blunt.
06:25Spitter or quitter?
06:26Oh, God.
06:29Well, spinners are quitters.
06:33To be technical, I guess you're right.
06:36That's true.
06:36Yeah, yeah.
06:37That's true.
06:38Are you a quitter, Meredith?
06:38Are you a quitter?
06:39Are you a quitter?
06:40Are you a champion?
06:41Whatever the man prefers, because I've been with guys that don't want that, and I've also
06:46been with guys that is, you know, always on the menu.
06:50So, it just depends on the person, and absolutely.
06:53Have you ever met somebody who's never been?
06:55No.
06:56Are you ever?
06:57I have.
06:58I have.
06:59I mean, most people like you to dine like you from Finland.
07:03You need to finish.
07:03Nobody's saying, like, what, I mean, what, they want to kiss later?
07:08Yeah.
07:09Similar to something like that, or continue the process.
07:12Right.
07:12Maybe, you know, I didn't get there yet.
07:14So, so they, if it's, you know, you don't want to share things.
07:18So, that's happened, you know?
07:21That's a whole different conversation.
07:23Nobody cares about my happiness.
07:26That is pure example of all the guys in here.
07:30Welcome to manhood.
07:31I got one for you at the 727, Meredith.
07:34It says, you might tap out on this one, actually.
07:38Let me get the button ready.
07:39It says, if you and Anthony got divorced, which one of your friends could you see sliding into his DMs?
07:46Oh.
07:47Oh, that's good.
07:48You got to give us a name.
07:49You got to give us a name.
07:51Like, you can't just be, like, the blonde lady.
07:52I'm not going to say her name.
07:53Like, you got to tell us.
07:54I don't have a huge, like, a large amount of friends.
07:57I know some people do.
07:58Like, I don't know, 15, 20 friends.
08:00The close.
08:01And none of my close friends would slide into his DMs.
08:04None of them?
08:04None of them.
08:05I mean, you're gone.
08:05I'm going to honestly say that.
08:06You're dead and gone.
08:07Oh, I'm dead now.
08:08Not if we just divorced.
08:10No, you're dead and gone.
08:11You're dead and gone.
08:12Somebody who's like, yo, they seen them out there at Starbucks?
08:15No.
08:15It's not going to happen.
08:16You got sideburns now.
08:18Somebody would.
08:21I can, if there was somebody, I would probably name them.
08:25But not in this case.
08:27It's not going to happen.
08:27All right.
08:28So, I know the answer to this.
08:30But I'm going to ask it anyway.
08:32Oh, God.
08:33Because it's asked differently.
08:35Like, you said to us you've never gone down the Hershey Highway.
08:38You ain't never, you ain't, you ain't never, you ain't never, you know, slept with a black man.
08:42Oh, oh.
08:43I thought you meant another.
08:44Oh, yeah.
08:46I thought I meant it.
08:47Maybe.
08:49Maybe that's a different chocolate.
08:51Hershey is the classic chocolate.
08:53Okay.
08:54Forget it.
08:55I'll give you Hershey.
08:56Okay.
08:56So, do you another?
08:57All right.
08:57Anyway.
08:58All right.
08:58So, this says, has Meredith ever slept with or had a relationship with a black man?
09:04And I know you haven't slept with one.
09:06But have any of the brothers tried to holler?
09:09And how did that go?
09:11Absolutely.
09:12I'm from Jacksonville.
09:14I know.
09:15Do you know?
09:16Yes, exactly.
09:17So, yeah.
09:19100%.
09:20Did you let anybody shoot their shot?
09:22Yeah.
09:22Of course.
09:23I never said I didn't, like, make out with somebody before.
09:25I just said I've never, like, slept with.
09:27Really?
09:28Yes.
09:28Okay.
09:28So, that's more of the relationship part.
09:30Right.
09:30So, have you ever had a relationship?
09:31Now, you ain't slept with them.
09:33Right.
09:33I didn't sleep.
09:34No full-born relationship.
09:35So, why you ain't going to full Monty?
09:37What happened?
09:37You both did something?
09:38You know what happens?
09:38You just get distracted by other people.
09:40So, if you don't, you know, get my attention or maybe it wasn't that good, I move on to the next.
09:46Really?
09:46Yeah.
09:47Was it different?
09:48No, it wasn't different.
09:49It's like chicken.
09:51Oh, man.
09:52I mean, I'm just saying.
09:54Everybody want to know.
09:55You know what I mean?
09:55You're like, what?
09:56She made out with a black guy?
09:57Because you know your next three plead to fifths is going to have a made out with a black guy question.
10:01Right.
10:01Oh, my God.
10:02So, you know, they're just trying to get the nuggets while they can get it, I guess.
10:04All right.
10:05You got a boomerang and you still have not used your pass, by the way.
10:07That was your third question.
10:08Okay.
10:09I like your question, O, about how it started and how's it going.
10:14Oh, first fight?
10:15First fight, last fight?
10:16Yes.
10:17Oh.
10:18Oh.
10:18Buck, what was your first fight ever?
10:20Dobby's like, how many?
10:22Like, can you remember your first fight ever?
10:25Yeah.
10:25Yeah.
10:25My first fight was elementary school.
10:29I remember I stole this kid's pocket knife.
10:32It was like a butterfly knife.
10:34I thought it was so cool.
10:35He caught me.
10:36He showed up at my house.
10:37I mean, I walked outside.
10:38He grabbed me.
10:39He threw me on the ground.
10:41And he sat on my chest, pinning my arms down, and he was punching me in the face.
10:47But what was worse than that was he had wet his pants.
10:52So, I had that smell in my, an inch from my nose.
10:58Ah, he teabagged you.
11:00Oh, my God.
11:01That's nasty.
11:02And then the last fight, oh, my God.
11:04Like, so many years ago.
11:07But I was in a nightclub, and there was my current wife, who was my girlfriend at the time.
11:13Her ex-boyfriend was there.
11:14And he had been in VIP getting some bottles, and he had made a reference about me that I heard from somebody.
11:22So, without hesitation, I walked up to VIP, and I grabbed his shirt.
11:27And drunken me, I just head-butted him.
11:29Oh, my God.
11:30That's not a bad move.
11:31Just a head-butter.
11:31A head-butt's a good move.
11:32It ended up breaking his nose and getting blood all over both of us.
11:37Oh.
11:38And the bouncers, who were my friends, took me out the back door and just let me run.
11:42For a rumor, right?
11:43Yeah.
11:44I was really intoxicated.
11:46So, that rumor was enough.
11:47You hand-butted him in the nose?
11:48In the nose.
11:49I didn't mean to.
11:50I think I closed my eyes.
11:51Wow.
11:53First fight, I wasn't really a fighter, but my first fight was 10th grade.
12:01First trip to public school, because I was in private school the whole time.
12:06And the girl that I was sitting next to in my business law class, Stronda Willis, who ended up being my girlfriend, had a boyfriend.
12:13And he didn't like her basically giving me all this attention.
12:17And so, he hemmed her up at a locker, like pushed her into the locker and hit her.
12:22And when I showed up in class, everybody was around her when she was crying.
12:24And I was like, why is she crying?
12:25They're like, her boyfriend.
12:26They're like, hell, because of you.
12:27I was like, holy.
12:29And so, I went down to his class.
12:30Wow.
12:31And everybody followed me down there.
12:32And honestly, I swung at him and didn't know if I was going to hit him and hit him in the face.
12:38And he flew into the desk.
12:40And I became this like, whoa.
12:42And she started dating me after that.
12:44Oh, nice.
12:45Hey.
12:46My last one was over here at that Dave's Aqua Lounge.
12:53I was just thinking.
12:54That was on Gandy.
12:55That was my last fight.
12:56And it ended with somebody getting their throat cut.
12:59And we had to all go to court.
13:01And the guy got prosecuted and sent to jail.
13:03But yeah, it was one that shouldn't have happened.
13:07But yeah, this dude was.
13:08I should have walked away.
13:11But there was some racial stuff that came at us.
13:15And I went over and tried to calm it.
13:17And I should have just not.
13:18Because the dude said some stuff.
13:20And then he spit in my face.
13:21It popped off after that.
13:23Oh, my God.
13:23Wow.
13:24My first fight, I was in like second or third grade.
13:29I was outside.
13:29It was P.E.
13:30And I had a friend who was kind of getting in a little fight himself.
13:34He was getting in a little dust up with this other kid.
13:37So my first fight was me punching someone when he wasn't looking.
13:43Because he was messing with my friend.
13:45And I hit him in the ear.
13:46I didn't try.
13:47I'd never punched anybody before.
13:49So I didn't mean to.
13:50But I hit him in the ear.
13:51It was debilitating.
13:52But what I do remember about it most is no teacher saw us.
13:58And the kid who I punched didn't tell on me.
14:00They knew something happened.
14:03But he never told on me.
14:05And that created your streak.
14:07The G code to this day.
14:09This kid's all right.
14:10The last fight I got in.
14:13I've gotten two really good ass whoopings in my life.
14:17Two really pronounced ones.
14:19And the last fight I got in was the best whoopin' I've ever gotten.
14:23I was at a Mexican restaurant.
14:26Tia's Mexican restaurant.
14:27It's no longer there.
14:28Oh, over there by campus.
14:29Yeah, yeah.
14:30Right over there.
14:31Sounded to Big Hurt.
14:32Big Hurt was DJing.
14:33Actually, he was DJing.
14:35And I told him this story years later.
14:38And this is how.
14:38So I was there with a couple of my best friends.
14:42And one of my boys, rest in peace, my dog Luis.
14:45He got in a fight with this Cuban guy.
14:47I'll never forget this.
14:48He got in a fight with this Cuban guy.
14:50And his, the Cuban guy, he had a, I'll stand right next to Luis.
14:54My boy punched the guy he was getting in an argument with.
14:57So I just punched the guy next to him.
14:59Because that's what you do.
15:00You just, you got it.
15:02Apparently, that's how it happens.
15:04You know, it happens in the blink of an eye.
15:06But the security at that place were all amateur MMA fighters.
15:12I knew this because I ended up knowing the DJ.
15:16And years later, we talked about it.
15:17And they whooped me so bad.
15:20I left that place back in the day.
15:23I used to wear basketball shorts under my jeans all the time.
15:27I left there in basketball shorts.
15:29Oh, they beat the pants off.
15:31I was in bed for about two or three days.
15:35Like, yeah.
15:36Yeah, the one dude had me in the full Nelson.
15:38And the other dude was kicking the hell out of my ribs.
15:41And like, they really tore me up.
15:43And then, you know, a couple years later, I met the DJ.
15:45And I told him that story.
15:46And he was like, bro, that was every Thursday.
15:49Every Thursday, someone was getting whooped up like that.
15:52Because the security, who was amateur MMA fighters, they would even tape their hands.
15:57Like, they were ready.
15:58At a moment's notice.
16:00And y'all had no idea.
16:01There must be some damn good tacos.
16:03God damn.
16:04Boy, they need to buy a secret service to tacos.
16:08Oh, man.
16:09All right, dude.
16:09That's officially a wrap.
16:11Owen, plead the fifth narrative.
16:12You have survived and didn't use your pants.
16:15You have survived and didn't use your pants.
