00:00Good morning everyone. I'm very honoured to be the PAP candidate for Marymount SMC.
00:11I vividly recall in August 2020, shortly after I was elected as MP of Marymount,
00:18in a house visit on a very hot afternoon, I met an elderly man, Mr Mok.
00:26Mr Mok spoke in Chinese. He was very well-dressed, long-sleeved shirt, long pants.
00:33He told me in a very kind and fatherly tone that the duty of an MP was to
00:41which means to take care of Singaporeans no matter how daunting the challenge.
00:54His words touched me. For the past five years, I've done my best, walked the ground,
01:01getting to know residents, helping the vulnerable residents, build a team,
01:08and also in creating a new Marymount identity. It's a new SMC.
01:16I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to serve residents in Marymount and fellow Singaporeans.
01:24The journey has been deeply meaningful for me, and it's shaped by the residents I've met
01:31and the lives we've touched together.
01:39Now, you're here today.
01:40You've found the need of the need of that.
01:41I've been looking forward to the family members.
01:42And to the families who have gathered,
01:44you've opened the family members.
01:45I'm sorry, I'm unsure about that.
01:46I'm going to meet again.
01:47I'm going to meet again.
01:48I'm going to meet again.
01:49You may see that this.
01:51I'm going to meet again,
01:52some people here,
01:55the boys here.
01:56What are the boys in the mid-state?
