00:00Okay, and another reason why, you know, the timing really seems, no, I'm asking you a question.
00:05I mean, another reason why the timing seems to be on Russia's side right now is that, you know,
00:10the Trump administration seems to have made quite a few concessions to the Russians, not got too
00:14many in return. One of those concessions relates to NATO. We heard the general you were talking
00:19about, General Keith Kellogg, saying that NATO membership is off the table for Ukraine. Do you
00:26think, therefore, Ukraine will never be a member of NATO? Well, you know, this is a strange subject,
00:31if you like, if you allow me to say so, because, and I have a personal memory about that. In fact,
00:37Ukraine has never asked from a former point of view to become a NATO member. So we are speaking
00:44about something that the Ukraine have never asked for. They may have this in mind, but they never
00:49asked from a former point of view. The second thing is that it is clearly off the table, and
00:55even yourself, I mean, you are a good professional. If you think for a moment about that, in order
01:02to have a country admitted to NATO, you need a consensus. Consensus means that everybody in
01:08NATO should agree on that. It's a rule. So I don't see a consensus in NATO about the membership
01:16that has never been there, by the way.
