01:34recent trip with flare airlines she was in toronto visiting her sister are you good on july 17th she
01:39was supposed to fly to saskatoon soon after the takeoff she says passengers were told there was no
01:46food or water available the flight attendants were going they got cups and they would just
01:51go to the bathroom and then they would come out and they were handing instead of landing the plane
01:56circled above saskatoon before being diverted to winnipeg then they said the runway is wet we can't
02:03then they said no the runway is actually under construction we can't land then they said well
02:07one runway is too short so you know what you gotta know so we can't land after that the passengers
02:14were informed they'd be flying back to toronto after stopping in winnipeg sabo says that's when
02:20people became enraged and started yelling of course that's when rc and people called passengers were
02:26also told their luggage will be sent to toronto if they got off the plane so three quarters of the
02:31plane got off and they said forget it we don't care get us off this flight and then a quarter of us
02:37stayed because we wanted our luggage zabo says she was given ten dollars in food vouchers and no money
02:43for a hotel that's a flight finally landed on wednesday july 19th a ripple effect also resulted
02:50in 33 hours of delay for people waiting in saskatoon to fly to toronto adam cyrul was one of them he says
02:57flair gave him a bag of crackers as compensation it was just horrible customers that's better than
03:04cracker i understand planes need to turn around for reasons and not every plane is on time but
03:09the way that the passengers were treated in this instance was pretty appalling the saskatoon airport
03:15confirms one runway was under construction and the other was too wet and too short for flair to land
03:21when we do anticipate wet conditions on the shorter runway that we're doing expert reporting of that
03:26condition and that allows the airlines to make appropriate decisions on the landing distance that is
03:31available to them flair airline says landing the plane in saskatoon would have been unsafe due to

06:28had enough fuel to go there and back you know because you've been on the big airline and i've been
06:35on the big airline in canada where they didn't have enough fuel to get to the city that we were going to
