Bruxelles, 24 apr. (askanews) - L'Unione europea non esclude un incontro tra Trump e Von der Leyen sabato a Roma, in occasione del funerale di papa Francesco. "Stiamo valutando la possibilità di un incontro" anche se "al momento non c'è nulla di confermato" ha detto Paula Pinho, portavoce della presidente della Commissione Ue, interpellata nel briefing con la stampa in merito a possibili incontri a Roma della presidente dell'esecutivo Ue Ursula von der Leyen con il presidente Usa Donald Trump a Roma. "L'obiettivo principale" del viaggio di von der Leyen a Roma "è il funerale di Papa Francesco". "Se si presenteranno altre opportunità, a margine del funerale, allora saranno colte".
