00:00In response to the viral video circulating online showing poor quality rice, the palace slammed it, calling it fake news and disinformation about the quality of rice that will be sold for the 20 pesos per kilo.
00:13The palace also questioned how such rice could already exist when the Department of Agriculture or DA and the local government units are still in the process of mapping out the rollout of the program in the Visayas region.
00:25According to the palace, the motive is clear. There are some who do not want this government program to succeed.
00:32Amid the criticisms, the palace reiterated that the program will continue to address the needs of Filipinos and guarantee that good quality rice will be sold.
