00:00Adam Ida getting a double and Nicholas Kuhn, two players who perhaps have come in for a wee bit of criticism, it's fair to say, during the second half of this season.
00:09Ida in particular, I don't think a lot of Celtic fans have been convinced that he's quite lived up to his hefty nine million price tag.
00:16And Nicholas Kuhn, a player that's certainly kind of gone off the boil for a couple of months, rediscovering some of his best form ahead of what could be an interesting summer for him.
00:26There might be a lot of Premier League interest kicking around. A pleasing aspect for Brendan Rodgers, as he touched on, I'd imagine, though, is the kind of emphatic nature in which they've bounced back since that St. Johnson defeat.
00:38They've swept teams away in the last couple of weeks, most of the games haven't been over by halftime.
00:44And that'll be hugely encouraging for him going into the summer.
00:48On the back of this then, Ben sets them up nicely, head to the next month's Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen as they hunt down this record ninth domestic treble.
01:00You'd imagine, obviously, the injury to Jota's a blow, but you'd imagine that the Celtic squad's got more than enough about them to beat Aberdeen and finish the job in style once again.
01:12Yeah, you'd imagine that Celtic now do go on and win the treble. Aberdeen have picked up of late.
01:19They have looked a bit more like the Aberdeen we saw at the start of the season.
01:23I was quite impressed with them when they played Motherwell a few weeks ago.
01:27They were confident and resolute against Hibs to get a good win there against a team that hadn't lost in the league in the calendar year.
01:34I think only Celtic have beat Hibs since December.
01:36So they're putting up a wee bit of form and for Celtic, I suppose, in these next four games, it's all just about, you know, keeping things ticking over.
01:44The league games don't really matter as a result, but you don't want to go into Cup final territory where there have been so many times.
01:49Having, you know, dropped points in Old Furn this weekend, maybe dropped points somewhere else along their, you know, performances maybe dip a bit.
01:58They want to go into that fully firing so that when they get to Hampden, they're still pretty hot.
02:02And you would imagine that, as always at Hampden with Brendan Rodgers, if Celtic turn up and decide they want to win, then Celtic will win.
02:11The only people who can stop Celtic winning the treble now are Celtic, I think, in terms of if they play poorly, that'll be on them.
02:20And Aberdeen can take advantage of that.
02:21But if they play well, then there's only going to be one winner at Hampden.
02:24Yeah, and ironically, I guess, heading into this weekend, it's the final Old Furn derby of the season against Rangers at Ibrox.
02:33But very inconsequential, I guess, given every other game in the top flight this weekend, every team has something to play for.
02:41If you're Brendan Rodgers now, the league title's done and dusted.
02:46Is it an opportunity to rest a couple of players?
02:49I know there's been a lot of talk around Celtic not promoting enough youth players to their academy system over the last few years.
02:56Would you be looking to integrate some of these boys and try and give them more game time to kind of really showcase whether or not they're ready to make that step up, particularly heading into next season?
03:07I think we probably could see that in the remaining games against, who will that be against, against Aberdeen, Hibbs, and Dundee United.
03:19I think you could see that.
03:21I think in this game, the one thing you can label against Brendan Rodgers this season is the Old Furn record hasn't been great.
03:28They got away with it in the Premier Sports Cup final on penalties.
03:32Rangers were, that was a very back-and-forth game, but Rangers were certainly the better team in that for spells of it.
03:38They got beat pretty comfortably last time at Ibrox.
03:41They obviously lost the last Old Furn game.
03:43So I think they'll be quite keen to, you know, not make a statement, because they've already made one by winning the title again, and it's some ease in doing so.
03:50So they've made the only statement they can make, but I think they'll be quite keen to get a win in this, to really round off the season on a high, to make sure that, you know, you don't want to be losing, what, three of these games on the bounce.
04:04They've not won one in 90 minutes for three games now.
04:08They'll not be keen to see that continue.
04:10So I think you'll see pretty much of the same at Ibrox this weekend, but I think after that is when you could maybe see, obviously, the B team season's now finished in the Lowland League, so there's not any commitments there to be had.
04:26So I would imagine you would start to see maybe the likes of Jude Bonner again, maybe coming in back into the team.
04:32Francis Turley's one that at the start of the season Brendan Rodgers spoke of quite highly.
04:35Daniel Cummins is an interesting one, whether they think he deserves game time, as it looks like his future is going to be elsewhere come the summer.
04:44And maybe even some fringe players like Mike Narofsky, who are still in and around the squad, but perhaps haven't played too much.
04:51I think those three games will be the ones when you start to see a bit more rotation.
