00:07Ito'y matapos nagdaan ng dalawang bansa ang status of Visiting Forces Agreement na sinaksihan mismo ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:22Yes, Angelique, napirmahan na nga ang kasunduan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at New Zealand

00:26at na magpapalakas pa sa pwersa ng depensa ng dalawang bansa.

00:33Mismong si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang naging saksi sa paglagda ng Status of Visiting Forces Agreement o SOBFA

00:40na pinangunahan ni na Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. at New Zealand Defense Minister Judith Collins.

00:47Layunin nito, Angelique, napalakasin ang kooperasyon ng sandatahang lakas ng dalawang bansa

00:52at makapagsagawa ng cooperative activities at joint military exercises sa parehong teritoryo ng mga ito.

01:00Itinatakda nito ang legal framework na magpapadali na may pagpatuloy ang kooperasyon,

01:05mga aktibidad, gayon din ang mga pagsasanay sa bawat teritoryo ng New Zealand at Pilipinas.

01:10Nangyari ang paglagda ng dokumento kasunod ng courtesy call ni Collins sa Pangulo,

01:15kung saan binigyang diin ng Pangulo ang kahalagahan ng kooperasyon sa pagitan ng bansa at New Zealand.

01:20These partnerships have become very important in the face of all that is happening,

01:29not only in our region. It began just our region, but it's now unfortunately extended to the rest of the world.

01:37But nonetheless, those partnerships that we have formed and that we have,

01:44the agreements that we have made, binaurally and on a multilateral basis as well,

01:52have been extremely important.

02:00ang pagtiyak ng kahandaan nito na patuloy na makipagtulungan sa Pilipinas.

02:05Thank you very much, Mr. President, for taking the time to meet with me and our delegation.

02:11And of course, I acknowledge my good friend, Gaweto.

02:14We've met on numerous occasions now.

02:17So it's the relationship between the Philippines and New Zealand, I believe, is very strong.
