Estados Unidos y Ucrania firmaron este miércoles el acuerdo que permitirá la explotación conjunta de minerales ucranianos, indicó en un comunicado el Departamento del Tesoro estadounidense.  El texto detalla el establecimiento del Fondo de Inversión para la Reconstrucción Estados Unidos-Ucrania y estima que "en reconocimiento al importante apoyo financiero y material que el pueblo estadounidense ha brindado a la defensa de Ucrania desde la invasión a gran escala de Rusia", esta alianza económica les permite colaborar e invertir juntos para garantizar que los recursos, talentos y capacidades mutuos aceleren la recuperación económica de Ucrania.

00:05I am glad to announce the signing of today's historic Economic Partnership Agreement

00:09between the United States and Ukraine,

00:12establishing the United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund.

00:17This partnership allows the United States to invest alongside Ukraine

00:22to unlock Ukraine's growth assets,

00:25mobilize American talent, capital, and governance standards,

00:30that will improve Ukraine's investment climate

00:32and accelerate Ukraine's economic recovery.

00:36The Development Finance Corporation will participate and help to establish this fund

00:41in collaboration with the government of Ukraine.

00:44Today's agreement signals clearly to Russian leadership

00:48that the Trump administration is committed to a peace process

00:52centered on a free, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine over the long term.
