00:00Good morning, welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office.
00:04It's going to be a dry and sunny bank holiday for many of us thanks to high pressure and charge,
00:08but the only exception of that being across the south and southeastern parts of England.
00:12Well, we will see some showers bubbling up, perhaps a bit more cloud here too.
00:16One or two of those showers could be heavy in places, but most of them will be light and scattered.
00:20And elsewhere it is going to be a dry day.
00:22Plenty of sunshine on the cars, plenty of blue skies on offer,
00:25and with those light winds that we're going to be seeing,
00:27temperatures will be feeling pleasant while we do see that sunshine.
00:3016, 17, perhaps 18 degrees in the south, 13 or 14 further north,
00:34but it will be feeling just a little bit cooler across eastern parts of England,
00:37where we do have that onshore breeze.
00:40As we then go through Monday evening, any showers that we see across the south
00:43will gradually start to ease overnight, and that will lead to a dry night to come for most of us.
00:48One or two showers across the very far north and northeast of Scotland,
00:51but plenty of dry weather, plenty of clear skies on the cars,
00:54and when we do see those clear skies, we could see the odd patch of mist and fog forming,
00:57but it will also be turning quite chilly, perhaps as low as minus 3 or minus 4 in places.
01:02However, towns and cities likely to be holding up above zero around the mid or high single figures.
01:08So that does mean quite a chilly start to Tuesday for many of us,
01:11but it will be a dry and bright start too.
01:13Any mist and fog through the morning will clear very quickly once the sun comes up.
01:17A little bit more cloud just feeding in across eastern parts of England,
01:20but any showers we see across the very far north gradually starting to ease.
01:23And it will be another dry day on the cars for many of us, plenty of blue skies, plenty of sunshine again,
01:28and again with light winds, feeling pleasant in that sunshine.
01:31Highs in the south or southwest around 16, 17, perhaps 18 degrees,
01:3516 degrees across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland too,
01:37but once again feeling that little bit cooler across eastern coast of England with that onshore breeze.
01:43That sets us up quite nicely as we go through much of next week with high pressure in charge,
01:48but do make sure you hit subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never miss a weather update.
01:51Bye for now.
