00:00I'll tell you like this, man. Timberwolves, Timberland, Ant-Man, Edward Scissorhands, Pineapples and Spam, boys and boys.
00:09This is Tim Roy, and you're listening to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:15The crossover is brought to you by Abundant Life Weight Loss. They know the secret to losing up to one pound of fat every day.
00:21Go to AbundantLifeWeightLoss.com. Let's welcome in Willard and Dillis.
00:26Yeah.
00:27The Crossover.
00:28Let's go. Game one, baby.
00:30What's that, Will?
00:30What did you call it?
00:31Game day.
00:32Oh, I thought you said payday.
00:33Oh, no, boy.
00:34It doesn't come matter.
00:35Yeah, please.
00:36Take a breath.
00:37Remember that text I sent you?
00:38Oh, my God.
00:39Your boy was in panic.
00:40You were freaking out.
00:42I was in the restroom.
00:43Yeah.
00:43I was in the restroom, which I shouldn't read texts in the restroom, but that's what we do now.
00:47Yeah, no doubt.
00:48Nobody has ever gone to the restroom without their phone ever again.
00:52And, yeah, you freaked me out.
00:55That's great.
00:55You're like, where's the money?
00:56And it came with you.
00:57It came with you, Sam.
00:58Take a breath.
00:59It's going to be there.
01:00It's going to be there.
01:01You got to trust it.
01:02I love it.
01:02It's just like Warrior Basketball.
01:03You got to trust it.
01:04We have some predictions on our show.
01:06You want to share yours tonight?
01:07I bet.
01:08I've been waiting for this.
01:08It just happened.
01:09All day.
01:10What time is Finchie joining them all?
01:11Why do you look scared?
01:13What do you mean?
01:14Don't be scared.
01:15Say into the mic what you just said, Devin, and the rest of us.
01:19I do think Minnesota is going to win the series.
01:21I think that they have a chance to win it convincingly, but five games seems way too short.
01:34All right.
01:37Six games feels about right, but that means, as I told you, that means they wrap it up here
01:43in San Francisco, the Wolves, which isn't the easiest thing to consider, but...
01:50All you got to do is sing, and it'll happen.
01:53No, that's a three.
01:54Go ahead.
01:55I got Warriors in seven.
01:57I got Timberwolves in six.
01:59I just feel like they got two of the best three players in this series, Dibs, and the fact that...
02:05I don't think you're wrong, but I thought about this earlier, and I kind of shared your thoughts
02:10on our thread, like, yeah, the Warriors have two of the best three, but who is player number
02:15four and player number five?
02:17And then Draymond's in the top six, but then you get to seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
02:22and twelve.
02:23That's where I do think it gets a little bit, not dicey, but that's where you need a couple
02:27of buddies, and you need a pods game, and you need what you need, because if I give
02:32you, and I'm with you, like Steph and Jimmy and Ant-Man, your top three, okay?
02:37You got two of the top three.
02:38And then Randall, Draymond, and Gobert.
02:42McDaniel.
02:43Okay, then we get to the next, like, the top six.
02:45It's three and three right now.
02:46Draymond, Jimmy, and Steph, and Gobert, and, you know, Randall, and Ant-Man.
02:53So, it's three, three.
02:54So, now who's seven, eight, nine, and ten?
02:57Like, Dante, and McDaniels, and, like, where are we going before we get to a Warriors?
03:05It's a fun exercise, but is it relevant at all?
03:10What you just said.
03:12Yes, it is totally relevant.
03:13I don't think it is at all.
03:15The only reason why the Warriors won against the Rockets were because pods had a game that
03:19was amazing, and GP2.
03:21Yes, he did.
03:22Don't forget that.
03:22He had a great game, and Buddy had a great game as well.
03:25There's no reason to think that that won't continue, and as I detailed yesterday, all of the adversity
03:29was the Warriors, and the Rockets had none.
03:32They had no injuries, no sicknesses, no nothing in that series.
03:35We got one now.
03:36Yeah, I'm not going to say that's the only reason the Warriors won.
03:40There's a bunch of reasons the Warriors won, and I told you before the playoffs started
03:44that strength in numbers is over.
03:45That's not this team.
03:47They're very top-heavy.
03:49So, if they suffer the wrong injuries, they're out, although they suffered one of them last
03:54series, and it didn't kill them, and I would have thought that it would.
03:57So, how about the two games Jimmy didn't play?
04:00Who's the best player in the series?
04:02Steph.
04:02The next eight are probably Rockets.
04:05So, like, I just, it's a fun exercise.
04:07Well, nine games, heaven.
04:07Well, no, we can, but we're talking about games two and three, and the Warriors won one
04:11of those games.
04:12So, I just, I get what you're saying.
04:15I don't know if that decides games.
04:17You know, when Giannis plays, he's the best player on the floor.
04:20They can't win a series anymore, though.
04:22You know, I just, I don't know, man.
04:24And, like, they, yes, the Warriors are at an age and a structure where I think the other
04:30team is going to look bigger and more athletic every time.
04:33But I also know that when Jimmy Butler arrived, the Warriors won most of their basketball games.
04:37So.
04:37And they were one game under .500.
04:39They've got something in the sauce.
04:42Something's in there.
04:43Yeah.
04:43And they like this matchup.
04:45I mean, I think that my phone's ringing.
04:47Who's calling?
04:48Who is it?
04:49Probably Moms.
04:49Mooring Sport, Louisiana.
04:51Who's that?
04:52I have no idea.
04:53It's your daughter.
04:55No, it's not.
04:56It's Louisiana.
04:56Well, she's in Louisiana.
04:58Yeah, but she's.
04:59She might be in a payphone in Mooring Sport.
05:00That'd be a first call in seven years.
05:03Whether she's in Louisiana or not.
05:06Fair.
05:07No, I think that the other thing that I think we're, that the Timberwolves have is this team
05:13went to the Western Conference Finals last year.
05:15So, there may be a little bit of an advantage outside the Warriors' big three with the role
05:22players on, you know, Minnesota.
05:25I mean, Minnesota's role players, you would expect to play better than the Warriors because
05:31they've got more experience and the Warriors' role players are younger.
05:34But that's just, that's just a talking point.
05:37It could not, it might not work that way.
05:39I mean, you never know.
05:44And that's where I think about, like, what you said, Gu, like, the Warriors have two of
05:47the three best players in the series, and that's great.
05:50And it matters, I think.
05:52But what it comes down to for me is each individual game.
05:55And what Mark was saying, I think, is what I take away from the last series, which is
05:59you didn't have Jimmy Butler, and Steph was amazing in game three, and you won.
06:05And then game seven, Steph was there, and he was pretty quiet in the first half, and Jimmy
06:10Butler was too, and Buddy Heald was otherworldly.
06:13So, it comes down to not, like, who is better over the course of the series, but who is better
06:19in the moment when you need them to be better.
06:22And Pods had that game.
06:24Yes, they did.
06:24Was it game three, or was it game four?
06:26I think where Pods was just...
06:28It was four, because they won it.
06:30Right.
06:31Yeah.
06:31And that was the game that they won by the hair on their chinny-chin-chin, and that ultimately,
06:37Mark was right.
06:38The even games are the pivotal games, and, you know, you think about these first three
06:41series that we already know right now, and the road team won all three, so the home team,
06:46it's pivotal that the home team goes out and wins those games, including Indiana, or not
06:51Indiana tonight, but Indiana's up 1-0 tonight.
06:53And the fact that these, from a Warriors standpoint, what you said, their age, because it's real
06:58in regard to the Warriors, oh, we're just down 0-1, it's fine, but the fact that these
07:03games are coming fast and in a hurry, or why, I feel like the Warriors will be energized
07:08tonight.
07:08They'll be energized every game, but if you can get tonight, and you gotta get, you know
07:12what I mean?
07:13Like, the middle game will be, you'll have that advantage, I believe, because these games,
07:17this thing's gonna be over soon.
07:18Well, whoever loses tonight, immediately in 48 hours, is facing right back up against
07:26the stress again, like Cleveland, boom, stress, stress, from two hours from now, a lot of
07:35stress.
07:35That's kind of my takeaway, though, from the first round, because how often do we get first
07:42round winners wrong?
07:43Oh, man.
07:44Like, in the NBA, normally, you can just be like, I know who's gonna win the first round.
07:49Nothing to see here.
07:50Right?
07:50Kind of like what the Eastern Conference was very chalky, even though the Pistons put up
07:55a good fight and all that stuff.
07:56It was chalky, but here we've got the air quotes, six seed playing the seven seed.
08:02I don't believe that either of these teams are worthy of the six and the seven.
08:06I do think the best four teams moved on in the Western Conference, although I would have
08:11thought before it started, the Clippers were one of those teams.
08:14Turns out, you know, they didn't make it.
08:16That thing was razor thin.
08:18But my takeaway, and with the road team getting game one in all three of the other series,
08:23crazy.
08:24This is as much parody as I can ever remember the NBA having.
08:29I've not enjoyed watching playoffs, especially early, this much ever, as I am right now.
08:35And it's sort of, it buoys the thought to me that the Warriors are actually a true championship
08:42contender.
08:43Because I think just about everybody left kind of, sort of is.
08:48I don't know if Indiana is.
08:50Maybe they are if they win tonight.
08:52You know?
08:53But I think that all eight teams are gonna have something to say.
08:58I don't think the Warriors are much better than everybody else.
08:59And it sounds like you're saying they all can get beat, too.
09:02Absolutely.
09:03I mean, like, the Russian got caught last night, Rocky reference, with OKC.
09:09I just like.
09:10Yeah.
09:11No doubt.
09:12They got caught.
09:13And I know they won.
09:14But they were up.
09:1598% of the game.
09:1799.
09:18But they lost.
09:19But they lost.
09:20And I still think they're the best team, but they're beatable.
09:23Well, are they the best team?
09:25And I look at, you talk about parody, and I looked at 2010, which is the year in the Western
09:30Conference, where there was the most parody ever.
09:33The Lakers won 57 games.
09:35They were the one.
09:36And the eight seed was OKC.
09:38They won 50 games.
09:40Man.
09:40One through eight, 57 to 50.
09:43All four of the first round series went to six games.
09:46The Lakers won.
09:48Utah, the five, beat the four.
09:49The Spurs were a seven.
09:50They beat Dallas.
09:52And Phoenix beat Portland.
09:53In the second round, the Lakers and Phoenix both swept their opponents.
09:58And then the Lakers beat Phoenix in six.
10:01And then the Lakers beat Boston in seven.
10:03And this was two years removed from Boston's title.
10:06And this was kind of the, it was really the beginning of the end for Boston.
10:10They had won two years earlier.
10:11And it was the Kobe team.
10:13And if you look at that, and you probably were down there in 2010 or thereabout.
10:17Most definitely was.
10:18Right, and it was Kobe and Powell and like, I dare you to name another Laker.
10:23You could, but most people couldn't.
10:26Bino.
10:27Is he on that team?
10:28Derek Fisher, right?
10:29Yep, yep.
10:30Yeah.
10:31Yeah.
10:31But the point is like, that was a Kobe-led, like, get on my back.
10:37And Powell, of course, the Hall of Famer.
10:38And Powell's great as well.
10:39But like, and they won in game six, 89-67.
10:44And that's back when, you know, Kobe could go for 25 and that'd be enough.
10:48But to your point about parity, that was parity where you had eight teams and it was a complete mishmash.
10:55And then, you know, the Lakers, the one seed and Phoenix, the three seed were the two teams who emerged.
11:01I'm arriving at a spot where I don't think anything would surprise me with these last eight teams.
11:06It would not surprise me if the Pacers upset the Cavs.
11:09How about the Knicks in Boston?
11:10Well.
11:11Good God.
11:1245 missed threes.
11:13I mean, Boston just, yeah, they hit a wall.
11:15Take it to the rack.
11:16They totally hit a wall.
11:17Well, I would still be surprised if the Thunder lose the series, I guess.
11:22But my point is my surprises will all now be very mild.
11:26Yeah.
11:26Very mild.
11:28And so, you just kind of, I guess we all got to have the stomach for this.
11:32The Warriors, when they've won titles in the past, maybe not three years ago, but they've
11:36sort of marked themselves as elite when they go into this.
11:40They're not.
11:41They're not elite.
11:42But they're in the mix.
11:43They're in the mix.
11:44And that's all you can ask for.
11:45And I don't think anyone else is all that elite.
11:48And maybe I'm feeling that because OKC got beat by a buzzer beater.
11:51And Chet Holmgren looks like he needs to go gain some weight.
11:54Stiney called him weak.
11:56Not mad at him, Dibbs.
11:57That was some deer eyes.
11:58The regular season is not the playoffs, man.
12:00And they got Denver and Gordon and Holmgren's looking like, not that he's the reason they
12:06lost, like, oh man, this ain't the regular season.
12:08You got to see these guys every other day.
12:11And you're lighting the tail.
12:12Bambi.
12:13Bambi.
12:14Bambi.
12:14You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco, always live on the
12:19free Odyssey app, now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:23Laughing Monk, righteously brewed in San Francisco.
12:25If I were a Worry fan, I'd be really encouraged by the Denver game because, you know, the conventional
12:32wisdom is, well, the Thunder were rusty.
12:36Well, they were up 13.
12:38Yeah, they came up.
12:39With six minutes left.
12:40They played great.
12:40They were the aggressor all night.
12:42Right.
12:42So the fact that Denver had enough to hang in that game after being down the whole way.
12:50I mean, that was impressive what Denver did.
12:53And, you know, if the Warriors can do that in game one, that's going to really kind of,
12:59I don't know if it'll put it to bed, but what more do you want?
13:02They win a game seven, they have one day off, and then they go on the road again and win
13:06a game one.
13:06That would be very significant.
13:10That's why I'm hoping GP2 is available.
13:12It's kind of, we saw Porzingis go out with the illness during the game, but GP2 again,
13:17Dibs, like, that would be my first option or Moody on Ant-Man.
13:22And if he's not available, I'm just, you try to throw everything at him, you know, the kitchen
13:27sink.
13:27But man, GP2, you're needed.
13:29Needed, yeah.
13:30And the whole thing about the illness, we don't know what it is.
13:33But these things, as you know, Stiney, when you are on a plane and in a hotel and in a
13:37locker room and you're together all the time, it's going to spread pretty fast.
13:40I mean, I'm here fighting a cold, living with a two and a half year old who goes to preschool
13:45and she gets a cold.
13:46And so, all right, here we go.
13:48I get a cold, just a matter of when.
13:50But you look at the way Denver came back last night, and I don't know if the Warriors outside
13:54of Jimmy Butler can do that, because it was Jamal Murray, free throws, Jokic, free throw,
14:01Jokic, free throw, free throw, free throw, free throw, free throw.
14:04Like, they have an ability to score when the clock is not moving better than anyone.
14:10And I know the Warriors can with Jimmy Butler, but I look at the series and I wonder if Jimmy's
14:14going to be able to do that with, you know, the size that Minnesota has in the interior.
14:19I'm sure you guys mentioned it, but GP2 was that shoot around today.
14:22Okay, no, we did not.
14:23He's at shoot around today.
14:25I got it.
14:25Like, I'm not going to break anything here.
14:27I don't know.
14:28Well, that's a great sign.
14:29I would be encouraged that he's going to play tonight.
14:32We hadn't had that.
14:32He was not at shoot around on Sunday.
14:35No doubt.
14:35He was today.
14:36And I'll say this.
14:37We keep talking about the offense.
14:38The Warriors, to me, won game seven, guys, because of their defense.
14:41And I'm looking at bad Minnesota.
14:44And if you could just, let's just say Ant-Man eats.
14:47Can you keep Randall just, and we've seen it, dribble the air out of the ball or flustered
14:53or, you know, trying to do too much.
14:55And then it's like, okay, let Willard get his.
14:57And we'll keep Dante's of the world and McDaniel's all at bay.
15:01But let's get after him.
15:03Will, it sounds good, but I just kind of see that scenario playing out.
15:07I don't want to call this an easier matchup for the Warriors because I think Minnesota's
15:10a better team than Houston, but it's a different matchup.
15:14I do think the Warriors are a better half-court basketball team than the Timberwolves are.
15:19That tends to play in the playoffs.
15:21I am preparing myself for at least two of these games.
15:24Maybe only one if they're lucky.
15:26At least two of these games, Minnesota's going to go bananas from three.
15:29And they're going to win the game.
15:31And tonight might be one of those nights.
15:32Everybody's rested, they're home, energetic, all of that stuff.
15:36You know, like I'm mindful of just because two road teams won last night,
15:40they were both down by double digits for most of the game.
15:43So it's not like they came out and just owned the game.
15:46They both went on wonderful second-half runs.
15:49The other team got cold.
15:50Blah, blah, blah.
15:51They pulled it out.
15:53This is going to be very, very, like, this is a hard, hard assignment tonight.
15:57But Minnesota, you know, the whole make-or-miss league thing,
16:02if they stay, they've been kind of cold, and if they stay kind of cold from three,
16:06then, you know, yeah, you've got a great shot.
16:08Has the Willard and Dibbs computer spit out a prediction?
16:11Because we got one from Stiney.
16:12I said, I've got to get one from you two.
16:14Yeah.
16:15I had Warriors in seven.
16:16Yeah.
16:17It's Warriors in six.
16:18I think the blueprint is there.
16:20And, you know, the Warriors have, in their past, when they've won series,
16:24they've earned a split.
16:25But, and I do think that tonight is one they can steal.
16:28But if they don't, I like their chances in game two.
16:30Stiney hates that word, Dibbs, steal.
16:32No, I don't care.
16:33Rick Barry hates it.
16:34Rick Barry hates it.
16:35Rick Barry hates it.
16:36So you know that.
16:36I know that.
16:37And for Rick, and I know you're listening, I could not care less what you think about
16:43my terminology.
16:44It's a term.
16:45Nobody is actually going into Minnesota's, like, locker of games.
16:49I could not care less.
16:50Thank you, Rick.
16:51They're not actually going in and reaching in and grabbing game two and stealing it.
16:55And then the alarm goes off, and it's Mission Impossible.
16:58But those two teams last night stole the game, which is a good thing.
17:02There's also a lot of things that Rick hates.
17:04Oh, my God.
17:04That's a long list.
17:06That's a very, very long list.
17:08But it is.
17:09I think he's a cop to that.
17:11A lot of things he hates.
17:12It's only one of them.
17:13The one thing I've been thinking about, as it relates to the role players, to me, it's
17:20more timing of a role player's really good game.
17:26And, like, can the Warriors win a game if, let's say, Curry doesn't have a great game,
17:33but Pods has 21, Peyton has 15, and Moody has 14.
17:38Like, those, to me, are the swing games that really determine a series.
17:43If you can get a win when your stars don't play well.
17:47And, like, for example, you might, I mean, if, let's say, if Butler, Draymond Green, and
17:53Curry, let's just say they're really good, this series.
17:57Just say they're really good.
17:58But you may only need one game from an assortment of others.
18:04But as long as it comes in the right game, that's all you, like, it's not a coincidence
18:11that Buddy healed on his three best games.
18:13They won them all.
18:15Right.
18:15And, I mean, your point is, like, role players at the right moment.
18:19Pods had 26, and Buddy had 15, and Quinton had 13 in game four.
18:25Huge.
18:26That's 54 points from players who nobody outside this market have ever heard of.
18:31And what, what Curry and Butler do that game?
18:33Curry had 17, Butler had 27.
18:35You remember, he was a free-throw machine late.
18:37That's right.
18:38But Curry was pretty, yeah.
18:41And that wasn't even the GP2 game, right?
18:43Didn't he have one where he was?
18:45Yeah, game three.
18:46Game three.
18:47Game three.
18:47But this was game four where, I mean, Pods was unbelievable in that game.
18:51And then that was, yeah.
18:52And they still barely won.
18:54They needed a Shang-Goon jump hook miss and defended well by Draymond.
18:59But I think your point is well taken, Stiney.
19:01Like, you can't have Buddy go out tonight and score 24 and have Steph and Jimmy and Draymond
19:07be ordinary.
19:08You're going to lose by 15.
19:08Do you expect Buddy to start?
19:11I don't.
19:11Do you like the hot hand?
19:12I'm just asking.
19:14Like, you never know with Curry.
19:17If GP2 is available, I would, that'd be my guess.
19:22Because we've been talking about Buddy's defense.
19:24Not that he can stop Ant-Man, but he's been vested.
19:26Although maybe it's both of them.
19:29Yeah, maybe it's Moody who sits and GP2 and Buddy start.
19:33If I had to guess, that's the starting lineup I'll go with.
19:36Curry, GP2, Buddy, Jimmy, Draymond.
19:40We've seen it before.
19:42That's my starting five.
19:45And then, here's the other question I asked.
19:48Can the Warriors play Rudy Gobert off the floor?
19:51That's a big one.
19:52And do they want to?
19:53Do they want to?
19:55Yeah, so, like, he's such a matchup issue, both for the Warriors and for the Wolves.
20:02He's an issue.
20:03Right?
20:04Like, yeah, he, on one side of the ball, like, as far as rebounding and the defense that he plays in the interior and putbacks and all of that, he's going to be a problem.
20:15But, with the way the Warriors.
20:17They can roll in the blender area.
20:19The way they move the ball, dude, he's going to end up on skates a number of times.
20:23And that has been, not is, that has been a problem for Minnesota against Steph Curry in the past.
20:32And the problem isn't just Curry's got him on skates.
20:37Maybe a bigger problem is when Curry makes the shot, it's demoralizing to Minnesota.
20:45Yeah.
20:45Because the shots are still pretty tough, but he's making them, and now you start thinking, man, the one thing we were hoping to rely on, we can't do.
20:54Let me ask you this, because you and Finch are your best friends.
20:57Thank you, dude.
20:58Childhood friends.
20:59We'll be there Saturday.
21:00What time's he on tomorrow?
21:01I mean.
21:02That is, I text that last night.
21:04We'll see.
21:05All right.
21:06I just want, I want to let that sit, because, and I'm, if you're on YouTube, you can see how Stiney is seething.
21:14Yeah.
21:15And blushing.
21:15I mean, he's make-believe seething.
21:17And I only said it because I was, I'm a P1, and I listen, I'm on the YouTube chat.
21:21That's this guy.
21:22It's okay.
21:22They come to the same hood.
21:24Do they play a lot of zone?
21:25Because if I'm Minnesota, if I'm Minnesota, and I see what Houston did, I'm putting that big French stiff in the middle of the paint, and I know you can't be there more than three seconds.
21:35Nas Reed.
21:36I get that.
21:37But, I mean, Nas can actually defend, but I'm playing a ton of zone if I'm Minnesota.
21:41Do they play zone, you and Finchie?
21:43A little bit, but to me, the zone issue is the Warriors playing zone, and will it debilitate Minnesota's offense?
21:53Because they can stand around.
21:54Because Houston looked like it was kryptonite to them.
21:57And I was like, if Jalen Green was the start of it.
21:59Something about, oh my God, no, that was it.
22:02Like, wow, this is bothering them.
22:04The thing about playing a zone in that game seven, man, it just, it wouldn't allow Houston to play fast.
22:12It just didn't.
22:13You cannot bog down on offense.
22:18Because then the game's just going to get too slow for the Timberwolves or for the Rockets.
22:22Anything we had some fun, real quick, being made about Jimmy returning back to his own stopper?
22:26I know it's not Miami, but he was in many.
22:29Did you see the front page of the paper in Minnesota today?
22:33Tim Roy tweeted it out.
22:36And it was something along.
22:37At Warriors Vox.
22:38Yeah.
22:38The van.
22:39It was something along the lines of, like, you know, introduce yourself to the new Wolves, comma, Jimmy.
22:48Wow.
22:48That was kind of the headline.
22:50In other words, like, when you left here, you left here because this team was soft.
22:55Wow.
22:55They're not soft anymore.
22:57Right.
22:57It was Kitty Cat.
22:58It was Wiggins.
22:59It was, you know, a bunch of that.
23:02Big win for Kitty Cat.
23:03Yeah, huge.
23:04If you look at the four games they played this year, in three of the four, the team that
23:10led for the majority of the game won the basketball game.
23:14So I do think that tonight, the first quarter is everything.
23:16That's good.
23:16And, you know, the only game that was the anomaly is game two where the Warriors won.
23:23They beat Minnesota by eight, and Minnesota trailed most of the way, and then the Warriors
23:27were able to flip it late and then go on to win.
23:29But I'm looking at the last game they played, the Warriors got up 26-5.
23:34Man.
23:34And they led 34-10, and they led for 46 minutes of the game.
23:39Minnesota never led, and then that game got tied at 108.
23:43That is dumb, man.
23:44The last time they played.
23:45And, again, this is pre-Jimmy, so all these games, you have to go with a green assault.
23:49The more I look at Warrior games, Stiney, and guys, the more I see that if the Warriors
23:55lead early, the Warriors win about 80% of those.
23:58They tend to hang on.
23:59They do.
24:00Look at the Niners.
24:00Hang on.
24:01Use last night as another example.
24:03And, Gu, I'm not going to let you do this because you're one of the offenders.
24:06All right, go ahead.
24:07I don't want to hear.
24:08Oh, no.
24:08If the Warriors were up by 13 in the second quarter, I don't want to hear.
24:13They blew it.
24:14They blew it.
24:15It's hard to omit, man.
24:17The Knicks are down 20 on the road.
24:19And I'm watching it thinking it's a wrap.
24:21The Nuggets are down.
24:22I don't know what the largest lead was for OKC, but it was a double-digit lead for almost
24:25the entire night.
24:27They win the game.
24:28This is the NBA now.
24:29You shoot the three ball like that, you better get up.
24:32I don't want to hear blown until you're up by more than 25.
24:3725.
24:38That's the number now.
24:39That's the new NBA.
24:41Yeah.
24:4125.
24:42You got to be up by 25-plus for it to be considered a safe lead.
24:46Just one more, Stiney, before you go, and I know we're already in overtime, and I thank
24:50you for that.
24:50Again, playoff, Stiney.
24:51It's so wonderful to have you here, Stiney.
24:53Shout out Stiney shooting a 78 on Sunday, which was a glorious round.
24:57I wish I was there for that.
24:58But tonight's officiating crew, very, very home-heavy.
25:03Oh, no.
25:04How is this possible?
25:05We say that about every group.
25:07I hate it.
25:08No, but I feel like the last four games in a row, we've been like, ooh, this is home-heavy.
25:13My guy, Zarba, on the call tonight.
25:15He's great.
25:15Oh, my God, he's gorgeous.
25:17Yeah, he is.
25:18In the regular year, home teams won 66% of the time.
25:21Zarba tonight?
25:22Zarba.
25:22Wasn't Zarba game?
25:25Game five.
25:26Game five.
25:26How'd that work out for you?
25:27Exactly.
25:28But then we had a huge home-heavy crew come to Chase Center on Saturday night, and they
25:33didn't do a damn thing for the Warriors.
25:34They couldn't do anything for the Warriors.
25:37There's not a damn thing the Warriors could have done.
25:39That'd be home-heavy.
25:40Hey, Randy, let's go.
25:41Now, Willard and Dims, don't worry about any text messages from your boy.
25:45What?
25:45Yeah, I don't worry.
25:47Why are you turning up?
25:48Not one.
25:48Not one.
25:49I literally...
25:50I'm going to watch with Norm.
25:52I'm going to put the phone down.
25:53We just keep sliding into my Instagram.
25:56I told Stiney during the break, I go, it's still bothering me.
25:58Why did you take offense to it?
26:01I didn't like it.
26:02My lady sent you pictures.
26:03I got it.
26:04How can you be offended by this?
26:06I don't know, man.
26:07It was nothing but love, and I told him, it's bothering me.
26:10I'm going to text you every five minutes.
26:12Oh, hey, don't play that game.
26:13Every five minutes.
26:14Did you see that basket?
26:16Did you see that basket?
26:17Stiney, are you okay?
26:18It's 2.15.
26:19I'm just waiting for this to just kind of, what's it called?
26:22Just a natural end of the conversation.
26:24So if we never take a breath, then you'll just stay here?
26:27I don't know, Mark.
26:30I'm trying to do the best I can.
26:34Stiney, say something.
26:35I'm going to text Go.
26:36Stiney, say something.
26:37I want to get in on the action.
26:40Let's do a group chat.
26:41And Stiney, if you do end up staying around, where will you be staying?
26:47Hi, Guru.
26:49Oh, you mean stay?
26:50Oh, God.
26:51I will be staying.
26:53We got action.
26:54Wow, you want to talk about something?
26:56We got DMV testing you.
26:57He's throwing you an assist and the ball just bounced off of your armor.
27:01I'm throwing labs to my brother.
27:03Hey, Stiney, if you end up staying all day, where will you in fact be staying?
27:08If I had to stay, I would keep it right here at 95.7, the game.
27:12Oh, no.
