00:00all right guys today we are filming a cheap versus expensive drift truck video behind me over here

00:09is ram 1500 2011 and this is gonna be our cheap drift truck that we picked up for five thousand

00:15dollars the expensive drift truck that we're gonna be using is just getting finished being

00:19built it is not ours it's our filmer dalton so dalton has a fairly controversial truck on the

00:25internet it has gotten toasted in the comments so he thought he would do something about that

00:29by changing the wrap changing the wheels lowering it taking it from a pavement princess into a drift

00:35truck it was supposedly going to be like a one of one build and evan did well evan wanted to take

00:41that from him and not make it that special so we're going to build the exact replica version of dalton's

00:45truck uh just the cheap version of it supposedly dalton's is going to be like a hundred thousand

00:49dollar build where ours is going to be like an extra five hundred dollars everything dalton is

00:55doing for this truck is like one of one like he gets so stoked back i'm the only one with this wrap

01:00i'm the only mega cab drift truck i've got these custom powder coated wheels for now it's not the

01:07only one dalton has been building this over the last like six months and told each one of us individually

01:15what he's doing but he's told each one of us don't tell anyone nobody knows what this build is so he

01:21thinks that like all of us have not talked about this together um but we have and we have some plans

01:27i've tried to tell him why are you doing this to a pickup i'll tell you why ken it's because he

01:33got so much crap for his first build so i think what he's thinking is like oh like i can turn this

01:40around i'm gonna do the opposite of what i did but i'm not sure if he's still working in the right

01:47direction i agree the baby blue wrap was very controversial and i think the new wrap is going

01:53to be way more controversial yeah so we've got some plans to uh convert this truck over into being a

02:00replica of dalton's replica and then uh we're gonna surprise dalton with the new truck the more replicas

02:07you make the shittier and shittier and shittier they get we've got to build ahead of ourselves

02:12all right so as we said we're doing this build on a budget but we wanted to change just the the real

02:24key factors that make dalton's truck what it is right first one being we gotta put new headlights

02:29in it we went with the ebay specials on this one we also got some tail lights to throw in there

02:33new grill for it some thunder flares we already welded the diff on it which would be good for the

02:38drifting and then we have some wheels being powder coated so the biggest thing is he didn't tell us

02:41what the wrap was supposed to look like which was supposed to be the biggest surprise of this

02:45build but luckily we know the designer that did his wrap and we asked him if he could show us

02:51replicate it and print it out and luckily there's not a whole lot of loyalty so that's exactly what

02:57they did this is what it's supposed to look like this may be the most controversial wrap on the

03:04internet it's a replica of the legendary ken block hoona truck which

03:08is cool but also not cool on a dodge yeah yeah i don't know it's pretty controversial and uh that

03:17was kind of the main reason that we wanted to do this it's saying something because we have

03:20a ken block replica car you can't just take delivery of like a completely different vehicle

03:25and then put it on yours i don't think that's how that works would that be considered cheeto

03:30as a matter of fact ken i believe it is so is this truck going to be more cheeto or less cheeto now

03:35i think this is going to be off the charts cheeto we got a big wrap ahead of ourselves we're not

03:42good at wrapping anything but luckily with any cheap build it can be a pretty cheap install

03:47we just popped the hood and realized that it wasn't uh the hemi that we bought we thought we were

03:58buying the five seven but it's actually the four seven this scumbag that we bought it from just

04:04shaved that still i mean if you would have looked you would have seen that you have the message of

04:09him saying yes it's the five seven that's not even like oh the the five just fell off the four just

04:15fell off he took like a grinder to that and ground it off he said in the message it's got the five

04:21seven yeah just because someone says something doesn't mean that it actually is evan whoa you

04:26can't just trust everyone you know people do this thing called lying that's why when it comes to

04:32facebook marketplace you kick them in the nuts yeah you don't give them the benefit of the doubt

04:36it's what we've been saying for years and a real hemi brother would have known that it would have

04:42this nice big cover that said five seven heavy you understood something about motors that was where we

04:48screwed up guys you're right it is our fault it's not your fault ev you don't know what do we pay for

04:52it five thousand dollars this thing's about a thousand bucks well i hope you're happy hey hey the good

04:58news is it still appeared to blow the tires off yeah it did it was spam so that's all just think of how

05:04good it would be if it was a five seven that's sick that's actually super sick

05:18yeah i think you're supposed to use uh screws not tape i thought the tape was going to be good

05:31enough to hold it you gotta like hold the tape for a second i'm sure dalton did the same thing with his

05:35truck this is the most like modded truck thing ever dude

05:40oh yeah yeah much better all right wheels are ready to go on we got the same tis wheels that

06:00dalton has on his truck uh and we made them just a little bit more cheeto so we spray painted them

06:04with this gold flake spray paint which is going to look actually pretty similar to what he's rocking
