This October SW&PH independently released their sophomore album, This Is Why We Can't have Nice Things. Thirteen tracks deep, the album does not leave much to be desired. While proud of the previous release the band agrees that, NOW they feel they have finally figured out how to capture their true sound. "The first album was sort of a soul searching, vibe finding experience for us. Now with two albums in the bag, we're fervent about the next effort!" To date they've sold over 1,300 copies of the debut album - and are quickly moving toward 500 units of the new one (Which only came out on October 9th, 2009!)

The album spans the emotional gamut with absolute tearjerkers like, "Broken" and "teardrops" and fun, up tempo numbers like, BFFL" and "Prove It". The album sports extremely poppy/catchy tunes like, "Selfish Fool" and "Figure It Out" that one could picture on the radio or in a car commercial and gracefully shifts gears to epics like, "Trying to Dream For You" and "Emerald City Blues" which could easily be heard on a film score or documentary.
