Magic Eight Ball are a rock n' roll n' soul band of sorts who are influenced by the likes of Manic Street Preachers and Queen through to Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
Having performed live all across the UK, Magic Eight Ball had the honour of sharing the day's bill with their musical hero Brian Wilson at GuilFest 2009. Later that summer they also played an acclaimed set at the BBC as one of many radio appearances.
In 2010 Magic Eight Ball supported members of their joint favourite band (Enuff Z'Nuff) in The Black Mollys (Baz Francis even taking to the stage with them later in the evening as guest singer) before a triumphant return to GuilFest that year too, then in December 2010 Francis was personally asked to be opening support act for Enuff Z'Nuff themselves, a request he obliged with a special acoustic set in Cheltenham.
