HR Commission Puts Mexican "Justice" Under Spotlight

October 2 was the 47th anniversary of the murderous repression of the 1968 student movement. Survivors of the massacre were joined by family members of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students in a mass march in Mexico City. The date was also noted by the Inter-American Human Rights Commission, which during its visit to the country expressed deep concern over the administration of justice and structural impunity, which it said perpetuates and encourages human rights abuses.
