Dabeli is a tangy Gujarati snack which was traditionally sold on the streets of Gujarati towns and now it has been making its way among the most popular street food of India!It's a delicious and mouthwatering snack. Ingredients:
- Dabeli masala
- Mashed Potatoes
- Date and tamarind chutney
- Lime juice
- Masala peanuts
- Dry grated coconut
- Gram dal sev
- Garlic chutney
- Finely chopped onions
- Pomegranate seeds
- Coriander leaves
Method:
- Heat Oil in a pan and add dabeli masala and water
- Add mashed potatoes, date and tamarind chutney, lime juice, salt and water and mix properly
- Spread the mixture in a plate and garnish it with masala peanuts, dry grated coconut, gram dal sev, finely chopped onions, pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves.
- Slit the bread and apply some date and tamarind chutney and garlic chutney and a scoop of Dabeli mixture and the garnishing ingredients
- Add butter on hot pan and roast the dabeli
