Isak's story Part 1 (Jonas)
Isak scenes from the web series Skam, Season 1. The events take place between September and December 2015.
The main character in the first season is Eva, and the storyline focuses mainly on her. Eva is her first year at Hartvig Nissens upper secondary school in Oslo. She has fallen out with her old friends Ingrid and Sara. The only other people she knows at the school are her boyfriend Jonas and his friend Isak. Isak has a pivotal role in the events as they develop. Isak has been best friends with Jonas since before he started dating Eva.
In Season 1, Isak is 16 and also a 1st year. He lives at home with his parents but, half way through the story, they separate after his father moves out of the family home. This has a devastating effect on his mother who falls into deep depression.
Eva and Jonas are going through a rough patch in their relationship, mainly because she thinks he is cheating on her with her former friend Ingrid. In her anger, she ends up kissing 3rd year student Christoffer at his Halloween Party. While that’s as far as it goes, she is consumed by guilt and is worried what might happen if other people found out.
Eva asks Isak for his advice and support. But while he says his aim is to help her get back with Jonas, it does seem at times as if Isak is actually trying to split them up altogether. What’s his deal?
