Rita supports a troubled kid in school but neglects to stand up for her own son when Jeppe is the victim of trolling and victimisation because of his sexuality. Nikolaj tells Jeppe that these things have to be expected when you’re openly gay. But Jeppe is still worried and turns to Helle, the school counsellor, for some discreet advice. He tells her that his mother is more concerned about her school class than him, and doesn’t take his welfare seriously.
