Jeppe's story Part 15
Part 15 From the Danish TV comedy-drama series, Rita (S2 E07+E08) – It’s over.
[ Jeppe is only in episodes 7 and 8 for a few seconds, so I’ve put the two episodes together in Part 15 and padded it out a bit with related scenes ]
Rasmus thinks that he and Rita should take a break after he discovers she has been having an affair with Tom (her daughter-in-law’s father). He decides to sleep at the school. The next evening Rita goes round to the school to try and reconcile with him, but finds him and Helle sleeping together. As a result, they break up altogether. Rasmus also decides to resign as head teacher and leave the school. Jeppe is angry that Rita has messed up again. While he was not keen on Rasmus living in the house to begin with, he’s sort of got used to having him around, and has valued his support and advice.
It’s nearly time for the summer break, and Jeppe has been studying hard for his end of year exams. He gets top marks. Now it’s time for him and the other 9th graders to leave Islevgård School. After the summer, Jeppe will change to an upper school elsewhere.
This is the conclusion of Season 2 of this TV series.
