Beba Ezz El Din was a golden era dancer from Lebanon who was brought to Egypt by Badia Masabni in the late 1920's. She worked at Badia's first club on Emad El Din street as a dancer and she later "bought" the club from Badia's nephew Antoine in 1936 and they managed it together. She also bought Badia's last club The Casino Opera in 1950 and managed it with her sisters until her death in a car accident in 1951. In this film she plays the part of a Lebanese girl named Beba who has travelled to Cairo to attend university but she instead becomes a dancer and finds work at a night club. This is one of her night club numbers and she arrives quite late to the club which has the stage manager on the verge of hysteria and the dancers have begun without her. The singer is Mohamed Abd El Mottaleb who was married to Beba's sister Shou Shou in real life.
