What happens if we put together the influences of Anglo-Saxon music and the fascination for the subjects and tunes of the Catalan singer-songwriters from the sixties and seventies? An album with reinterpretations by Halldor Mar that lefts us, at less, filled with curiosity. His new work, Winds (Trafalgar 13 / Satélite K, 2014), revisits ten iconic songs of the movement known as "Nova Cançó Catalana" ( New Catalan Songs) through the filter of pop and sung in English.
