"Un disc de cantautor", així ens defineix Roger Mas el seu novè àlbum, Irredempt (Satélite K, 2015). Un treball discogràfic on aparentment només escoltarem la veu i guitarra del músic solsoní. Però lluny de ser un exercici d'austeritat, Irredempt s'erigeix com una obra suggestiva i emocionant, amb unes lletres que evoquen amor, llegenda i misticisme. Fent-nos partícips, des de la primera escolta, de l'encant i sensibilitat de Roger Mas a l'hora de musicar i enregistrar un àlbum amb l'encant dels d'abans.
"A songwriters album", that's how Roger Mas defines his new record, Irredempt (Satélite K, 2015), a musical work where apparently we'll only hear the voice and guitar of the musician from Solsona. Nonetheless, far from being an austerity exercise, Irredempt builds up into a suggestive and emotional work with lyrics that evoke love, legends and mysticism. From the first moment we hear it, we are made participants in the charm and sensibility that Mas uses to craft and record this album that has the fascination of traditional ones.
