Learn how to make Ringna Bateta at home with Chef Toral Rindani on Swaad Anusaar.

Ringna Bateta Nu Shaak is a Gujarati main course recipe made by stuffing potato and brinjal with peanut mixture. This shaak recipe or sabzi recipe goes well with hot rotis. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.

Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp Gram Flour
1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Cumin-Coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp Peanut powder
2-3 tbsp Coconut, grated
1 tbsp Green chilli, ginger & garlic paste
Coriander leaves, finely chopped
3-4 tbsp Oil
Brinjal
Potato
2-3 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
Fenugreek seeds
1 glass Water

Method of preparation:
Roast gram flour in a vessel.
Add garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder, salt, sugar, peanut powder, green chilli, ginger & garlic paste, coriander, mix well and add oil.
Make gashes on the brinjal and add the stuffing.
Same way fill the potatoes with the stuffing.
In a pressure cooker add oil, mustard seeds, cumi seeds, fenugreek seeds, stuffed potato and brinjal and water.
Close the cooker and let it cook for 2 whistles.
Our sabzi is ready to serve.
