Gajar Barfi is an authentic Indian sweet recipe which is tempting and delicious in taste, this mouth-watering sweet is eaten by all during various festivals and occasions. Carrot Barfi is an easy sweet dessert recipe which can be made at home which these quick steps with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
(Serves 2)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 Carrot (grated)
- 150 gms Khoya
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- Almonds & Cashew Nuts (crushed)
Method:
1. Turn on the flame, add milk, sugar and let it boil.
2. Now add grated carrot into it and mix properly.
3. Take the Khoya, grate it finely and then add it to the mixture.
4. Add green cardamom powder, crushed almonds and cashew nuts to it.
5. Once the dough is formed, turn off the flame and remove it in a plate to cool down, later garnish the mixture with crushed almonds and cashew nuts.
6. Let the mixture cool down and then cut it into medium size pieces.
7. Gajar Barfi is now ready to be served.
