Ingredients:-
1 cup Ghee
1¼ tsp. Cumin seeds
2 Green chillies, chopped
Curry leaves
Roasted Peanuts
2 Potatoes, boiled, peeled and cubed
2 cups Saboodana (Sago), soaked for 2-3 hours, drained and covered with a cloth
1 tsp. Black salt
Juice of a lemon
½ tsp. Sugar (optional)
Coriander leaves
Method:-
1. In a pan heat ghee and add cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, roasted peanuts and fry well.
2. Then add the potatoes and fry them well followed by saboodana and cook.
3. Add black salt, mix well and let it cook for 2 minutes covered with a lid.
4. Turn the flame off and add juice of a lemon, sugar and coriander leaves.
Sabudana Khichdi is ready to eat!
