Wife beater goes to jail after losing appeal

Former veterinary department officer Mohammad Affandi Ismail lost his appeal in the George Town High Court on Monday over his eight-month-jail sentence for beating his wife in a hospital lift in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam in 2013.
