Stop planning and start doing says the entrepreneur and investor.

It might be surprising to learn that entrepreneur, investor, mentor and Netflix co-founder Marc Randoph says that there is no such thing as a good idea. "Spending a lot of time trying to validate an idea, doing research and doing planning is a waste of time," he says. "What you need to do is immediately collide your ideas with reality." And not just once, he implores, but "hundreds if not thousands of times."

Randolph, author of That Will Never Work: The Birth if Netflix and the Amazing Life of an Idea, https://marcrandolph.com/the-book/, believes that the key to success isn't coming up with a good idea, but rather building a system, a culture and a process that allows you to fearlessly try hundreds of bad ideas in the quest to find ones that work. "That has been one of the concepts at Netflix from the very beginning, and I fundamentally believe it is one of the most important things that they do that allows them to constantly stay ahead of the curve."
