Muradabadi Biryani Ingredients :

Preparation of Marinade
1kg Chicken
10 Green Chillies (crushed)
7-8 Green Chillies (slit)
3 Bay Leaves
3-inch Cinnamon Stick
2 Star Anise
1 Mace
2 Black Cardamoms
5 Green Cardamoms
8 Cloves
10 Peppercorns
1 tbsp Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Fennel Seed Powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
1 cup Yogurt
2 Tomatoes (chopped)
Salt (to taste)

Preparation of Rice
3/4 cup Oil
5 Onions (sliced)
750 gms Basmati Rice (soaked)
1 & 1/2 ltr Water
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Fennel Seed Powder
1 tbsp Ghee
Saffron Water
Kewara Water
