రైల్వేస్‌‌పై రూపొందించిన నివేదికలో అనేక విషయాలను ప్రస్తావించింది కాగ్ (CAG).రైళ్ల వేగాన్ని పెంచడానికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేకంగా మిషన్ రఫ్తార్‌ను అమలు చేస్తోంది. దీనికింద ఇప్పటివరకు 2.5 లక్షల కోట్ల రూపాయలను వ్యయం చేసింది. కానీ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ రైళ్ల వేగంలో ఎలాంటి మార్పు లేదని, అదే సమయంలో గూడ్స్ బండ్ల సగటు వేగం గంటకు 23.6 కిలోమీటర్లకు తగ్గినట్లు స్పష్టం చేసింది కాగ్ .
