Canada's Trudeau talks with Germany's Scholz on energy supply

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz holds a joint press conference in Montreal with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a three-day visit to Canada to firm up access to new energy supplies as his country moves to quickly end its reliance on Russian oil and gas. Trudeau says Canada is exploring "ways to see if it makes sense to export LNG (liquified natural gas), and if there's a business case for it to export LNG directly to Europe," but downplays the likelihood of direct LNG shipments from Canada to Germany.
