00:00 Hey guys, this morning we're going to be demoing another hairdo.
00:06 This one's called Three Cornrows Back.
00:10 I'm just going to say back because you can finish it off lots of different ways.
00:13 I saw this one, and if you've been a Dancing with the Stars fan, you will have seen this
00:20 one a lot in the last couple weeks.
00:22 The Pussycat Doll Girl loves to do this one with her hair.
00:26 So we are just going to, I've already started it a little bit, but I parted a center section
00:32 just right down the center of her head, a little small section, and I did an outie French
00:37 braid or cornrow down the back.
00:40 And then I've also done it on the right side, parted off a section and formed a cornrow.
00:46 So now we're going to do the last section.
00:49 Now on her, I don't like gathering all the hair all the way down to the ear, so I actually
00:54 come up from the ear just a little bit so that there's some down still.
01:00 Then come down from that center braid.
01:03 This is where your rat tail comb comes in handy, helping you part.
01:08 So now that I have my section, I'm going to push that hair out of the way.
01:21 You can use rubber bands to hold the hair out of the way if you don't have another person
01:25 to help, but since I've got a little helper, she's going to help.
01:32 So this is just a standard outie French braid, and if you don't know how to do that, you
01:38 can refer to my video.
01:40 They have another hair video that teaches how to do any French braid and an outie.
01:45 So a lot more detail than I'm going to be this morning.
01:52 So you just start your braid, bring it back, adding in hair on both sides.
02:05 Form your cornrow.
02:20 When you get back a little ways, just continue the braid, but stop adding in hair.
02:45 OK now at this point, you can join up the three braids and just connect them like here,
02:54 or you can braid them together, which I've demoed just recently on another video.
03:00 Or I'm this morning just probably going to pull her hair into a ponytail.
03:05 So just a little something easy, a little something different.
03:10 It's kind of a cold, windy, yucky morning, so I don't want to leave her hair down and
03:22 have it blowing all over.
03:24 I'm just going to pull it back.
03:33 So once you get your ponytail formed, just add those braids in.
03:48 Cover it with a rubber band, brush it out.
04:11 And then on her, I'm going to add a ribbon too, just right here to cover up the ponytail
04:17 elastic.
04:18 But there you go.
