00:00 (indistinct chatter)
00:03 - Hey, Tammy, do you have a picture of your inspiration?
00:11 That texture, that curly hair one?
00:13 Just pull up both.
00:18 Let's edge it and make it even.
00:21 Here's one.
00:28 That's the first picture she showed me.
00:30 Ooh.
00:31 There's the second picture.
00:34 So what's the difference?
00:37 Exactly!
00:44 One is curly and one is straight,
00:45 but the texture is the same.
00:47 There's a little action around the face,
00:49 a little framing so it's not a super corner.
00:51 And the length is like, you know, above.
00:54 It's a little longer in the curlier picture
00:57 because it's curled.
00:59 So the first thing you're gonna wanna do is
01:01 attack the perimeter and create a guy.
01:05 Olivia, on the camera, give it up to Olivia.
01:11 (laughing)
01:14 So she'll field questions.
01:15 If you have questions, then ask them.
01:19 - So far, 15 are watching.
01:20 - Oh, excellent.
01:21 So the first thing we did is find
01:23 the high point of the head where the comb balances,
01:26 separate the front from the back,
01:29 and now we're gonna separate out the nape area.
01:31 So just lay the comb on the hairline,
01:38 find where the comb leaves the head.
01:40 - Allie Walker said, "Hi, B."
01:45 - Oh!
01:45 Allie!
01:48 - Sam says, "Hi."
01:49 (laughing)
01:51 (chattering)
01:53 - All right.
02:11 So here's the idea.
02:14 I can pull this back, I can cut it like a box,
02:17 and what it will leave me if I cut a box in the front
02:19 and a box in the back,
02:20 in turn what will happen is I'll have a lot of cleanup
02:22 to do at the corners, it'll probably flip out,
02:24 probably flip out up front.
02:25 The next thing to do is I can break it down
02:28 into major changes, so like the corners
02:30 where the head changes position.
02:33 So that'll be right here, right?
02:35 And I can cut here,
02:37 and then I can change my position and cut here.
02:40 And that'll give me a little cleaner line.
02:43 The last option is within these changes,
02:46 there's small little changes or planes.
02:50 So I can cut it one, and then I can cut two
02:53 to get a cleaner line.
02:55 So the idea, since we're gonna bring it up
02:57 and create that textured effect,
02:59 is I wanna use a little elevation on every section.
03:03 Elevation creates graduation,
03:05 but the trick is each section that we cut,
03:07 we're gonna cut longer than the previous section.
03:10 If you were to cut it all and give it elevation,
03:13 it would flip out.
03:14 So we want that bob to have the option
03:17 to go under and flip out.
03:19 So the idea is we'll take our first section,
03:22 and as we work, we'll get longer,
03:24 but each section will be elevated.
03:26 So in turn, it's an undercut,
03:28 but it helps create that texture.
03:31 - Vaughn said to talk louder.
03:38 - Vaughn said to talk louder.
03:40 - It's true.
03:45 (people chattering)
03:48 - So we'll get that first area,
03:57 and then we're gonna add two fingers elevation to it,
04:01 and then we're just gonna point cut
04:04 that guy in.
04:09 Now we'll move to the next subsection.
04:11 Get all that hair.
04:15 Watch my tension.
04:17 Two fingers graduation on that neck.
04:20 You can see my guide,
04:21 and then we're just gonna follow that line.
04:23 Now we'll move to the other side.
04:28 Split it.
04:30 Two fingers graduation.
04:34 Guide, and then we just point cut that away.
04:39 We want that point cut kind of jagged, not super clean.
04:43 Now we'll go over to this corner.
04:45 Same thing again.
04:48 Two fingers graduation.
04:50 There's our guide.
04:53 And just cut that section.
04:56 Boom.
04:58 Now we're gonna have a little bit of crappage,
05:00 as we call it.
05:01 It's gonna hang out that bottom.
05:02 So you're just gonna kind of clean that guy up.
05:06 Any little long bits.
05:07 Boom.
05:08 There's our first section.
05:09 So now we'll move into our second subsection.
05:11 (people chattering)
05:14 So most of the time when you cut a bob,
05:23 they teach you to leave it flat, like against the neck.
05:26 And that really helps it go under
05:28 if you're cutting to the same line.
05:30 But we'll get it to go under
05:31 because you'll notice on this next subsection
05:34 that we're gonna cut it longer.
05:35 So we'll grab that guide.
05:37 Here's that small, plain, flat spot.
05:42 Grab the guide.
05:43 Turn our two fingers.
05:46 Can see our guide.
05:47 And we're gonna go a little longer for that next section.
05:52 And again, really wanna point cut
05:55 to be a little erratic.
05:58 Not erotic, erratic.
06:01 Two fingers, guide a little longer from the previous.
06:05 So I can just follow the previous section
06:09 that I cut as my next guide.
06:11 And what you'll notice is the first section is shorter
06:14 and the next section is longer.
06:15 So that little graduation helps.
06:17 You can already see that section going under.
06:20 And in turn, will look good straight,
06:24 but also it's like every section that you're cutting,
06:29 there's my length.
06:29 Every section that you're cutting
06:31 is getting a little longer,
06:36 but it has graduation.
06:38 So that graduation creates layers.
06:41 So each subsection has layers, essentially,
06:45 on the perimeter as you work.
06:47 So you can see how that guide's nice.
06:49 And then we're cutting that line, getting a little longer
06:52 as we move to the corner.
06:53 Last subsection within the nape.
06:55 Center.
06:59 And now we'll, again, there's my corner back.
07:04 And what I wanna do from that corner back
07:06 is take the two changes in directions as cuts.
07:10 So just a little cleaner of a perimeter.
07:13 Two fingers graduation.
07:15 Look for that guide.
07:18 And we're gonna go just a smidge longer.
07:20 As long as I work across the same smidge
07:23 and that it's longer, there isn't an issue.
07:26 Now we'll move to the next subsection within that corner.
07:30 Two fingers, again, two fingers graduation.
07:34 You can see how my line is getting longer.
07:36 And now we're just gonna point cut that guide.
07:40 And I like to go back and forth with my point cut
07:42 to kinda create little points.
07:44 Just helps, again, with the texture.
07:46 Now the last bit of that section.
07:49 Two fingers graduation.
07:50 Now you notice we got elevation here.
07:52 So really that two fingers graduation is creating,
07:57 and that undercut is gonna help that guide go under.
08:02 And so I'll use that piece as we get to the corner.
08:05 Now we'll move to this side.
08:06 Corner back, split it in two bits.
08:10 I'm gonna use my longer side from the other side
08:13 here as my guide.
08:14 And now we're just, again, two fingers graduation.
08:17 And now we're just gonna point cut that.
08:19 Next bit within that corner, two fingers graduation.
08:24 Point cut that.
08:24 And again, we'll come back and forth on that point cut.
08:31 Move over to that corner.
08:32 We got two fingers graduation.
08:36 And connecting that line with two fingers graduation.
08:44 Now before we move forward, we'll just check our corners.
08:48 Bit from both sides, a pinch.
08:51 And we're just visually looking.
08:53 And I'm a centimeter off over here.
08:56 Let's see if I can see it.
08:57 I know you can see it right there.
08:59 Centimillimeter, it's a new hairdresser measurement.
09:02 So now we've got our line in through the back.
09:09 And again, as we comb that section,
09:11 you can see that line wanna go under
09:12 simply because of the undercut.
09:14 Now we'll move into...
09:16 So I could continue my perimeter all the way up,
09:22 but now that I know that I have that perimeter line
09:24 in to start, and that shape isn't super graduated,
09:29 there's a lot of texture in it,
09:30 so it's not stacked or anything like that.
09:32 So I'm gonna start my graduation here at center back.
09:36 And I wanna work in through the back and the crown.
09:40 Other hand.
09:42 So first thing I'm gonna take a nice guide at center.
09:48 I'm gonna put my parts for my over direction.
09:51 Now I got my back at center, my guide at center.
09:56 Now I'll find my corner back, it's gonna live right there.
10:00 'Cause basically I'm gonna use these guys as marks
10:05 for my over direction.
10:06 Because if you think about it,
10:09 how hard is it when you cut a bob
10:10 to get the over direction balanced or even?
10:13 And so in turn, what we're gonna do
10:15 is mark our over direction,
10:18 check it from the top to make sure that it's the same.
10:21 So now I know that when I cut the center,
10:23 I over direct and I over direct.
10:25 The distance traveled is the same as I move around the head.
10:28 It's a quick, easy tip to work quick and effectively.
10:32 And then when you dry it,
10:33 there's not like an issue like, OMG, it's longer.
10:37 So what I'm gonna use is use a piece from the nape
10:40 that's been cut.
10:41 I wanna go a little longer than that and use that
10:44 so that I don't mess that undercut up
10:46 and use that as my guide.
10:47 So when you think about the shape
10:50 that you wanna place in through the head, right?
10:53 We wanna go in and we wanna, again, work off.
10:56 There's our nape piece a little longer than that.
10:59 And what I'm gonna do is use a straight graduation technique
11:04 but I'm gonna change the technique that we're gonna use
11:07 so that it softens the line.
11:09 So I could go in and I could point cut it.
11:11 That's like the red belt way to do it.
11:14 And then there's a black belt way to do it.
11:16 And that is, I'm gonna cut it from the underneath.
11:18 But if you notice that's like part of my hand.
11:20 So I'm just gonna take my shears and turn them over,
11:22 which will allow me to come in and work off that.
11:26 Maintaining the elevation, like a razor,
11:29 I'll cut to that second knuckle
11:31 and then I'll just re-comb the section.
11:33 Again, red belt way to do it would be use that as a guide
11:37 and just cut that section, making sure you're at center back.
11:40 But again, for me, I just wanna create the texture
11:43 as I work for this textured shape.
11:45 So there's my guide.
11:46 I'll maintain my finger position
11:49 and I'll just work up, maintaining the elevation.
11:53 Until the hair doesn't reach.
11:54 So now we'll check this one, 90 degrees.
11:57 With that little bit there, you can just kinda come through
12:00 and just point cut that to get rid of that little extra.
12:04 So now we have our guide.
12:05 We'll take that first corner, working from top to bottom,
12:10 subdivide what I know that I can control.
12:12 I'm gonna change my body position.
12:15 There's my guide.
12:19 See, I'll clean the linus, check my elevation.
12:22 (crowd chattering)
12:24 Check my over direction, make sure I'm maintaining center.
12:27 There's my guide and now I'm just gonna cut that section.
12:30 Big strokes.
12:32 So I'll show you the result.
12:33 When you hold that section out, you can see the texture
12:37 but the cool part is, as we slide out,
12:40 it creates just a little extra sauce.
12:44 Like, it's like when you get a hot dog
12:47 on the streets in New York and you get it naked.
12:51 This time we're putting some ketchup and some mustard on it.
12:55 So now I'm just cutting to that line
12:58 and then I'll just re-comb and check
13:00 to make sure I didn't miss any bits
13:02 and I can just clean them up with a normal paintbrush.
13:05 Now I'll continue that same elevation.
13:08 There's a little bit of hair there.
13:10 We're just gonna get that a little bit
13:11 and now this should not reach.
13:13 We're good to go.
13:14 So now when you comb that out, I borrow a bit of my guide.
13:20 So basically what I had at center,
13:23 put a twist on this so I don't lose my,
13:25 I don't wanna comb it out
13:26 'cause now I'm gonna over-direct to that corner.
13:28 So I'll leave that and now I'll move into the next corner.
13:31 Comb that guy clean.
13:37 Again, get amount of hair that I can work with.
13:39 So again, there's my over-direction.
13:46 There's my guide.
13:50 So and again, I'm gonna cut this from the bottom up
13:53 or top up.
13:54 Either way, once you get the technique,
13:57 option one would be to come through, find that guide
14:00 and then I could just simply come through
14:03 and point cut that.
14:05 But we're using a different technique
14:07 to create a little different edge on the hair.
14:10 So we've got my guide and I'm just gonna work my way up.
14:16 (clippers whirring)
14:19 Using my Sandia Artist Series.
14:31 Shout out to Sandia.
14:33 (clippers whirring)
14:36 (clippers whirring)
14:39 Then we'll just re-comb that.
14:50 Maintain my center.
14:51 Got a little extra here to get there.
15:06 Good to go.
15:07 I comb all that out and leave my points of over-direction.
15:12 I'm simply gonna move into these sides.
15:14 If I wanna leave the corner,
15:18 I'll drop out a diagonal section.
15:21 If I'm worried about density, I'll create a ram horn.
15:25 So that guy moves and just leaves that section out
15:28 so I can leave that density in.
15:30 But as you can see, where I'm gonna take the perimeter to,
15:32 I'm not as much worried about density.
15:35 And that picture has a little action around the face.
15:38 So I'm also not as much worried about density there as well.
15:43 Or the corner.
15:47 So here's my first subsection.
15:49 Now I won't change any fancy.
15:50 I got a side part.
15:51 We'll talk about the other side here in a second.
15:54 I got a bit of my guide.
15:55 So my guide's gonna come from this inside sliver right here.
15:58 I'll show you what it looks like first.
16:04 So there's the guide of the section
16:06 that we just cut from the over-direction.
16:09 So if you notice, if I comb to that,
16:11 there's just very little that needs to come off.
16:16 And you'll, ooh, good catch, Bryn.
16:17 And you'll also notice that the finger angle
16:19 is a little diagonal because of the head shape
16:23 in the over-direction.
16:24 See it?
16:25 So I just wanna follow that.
16:27 So again, there it is.
16:28 And I'm just gonna come in,
16:29 and I'll slide to keep that diagonal finger angle.
16:33 Now we'll move to the next subsection.
16:37 And we're just gonna see if this reaches.
16:41 Ready?
16:42 And again, my guide comes from the back.
16:43 It's right there.
16:44 It's a smidgeroon.
16:46 So we're just gonna get that smidge.
16:48 (humming)
16:50 - Molly says, "Aw, sad I'm missing Tammy,
16:56 "but hair on point as always for her."
16:58 - Ha ha!
16:59 That's right.
17:00 'Cause Tammy's got it together.
17:04 All right, so now we miss you, Molly.
17:06 Have a Vegas.
17:09 All right, so now we're gonna grab a guide
17:10 from our previous.
17:12 Use the same corner.
17:13 Now here's the thing that we notice,
17:15 that there's a side part.
17:17 So there's more hair.
17:17 There's the center.
17:18 More hair on this side.
17:20 So I wanna cut to make it visually balanced.
17:23 I wanna cut, once I see the guide, that much longer.
17:26 So what I like to do is when I find it,
17:28 I'll use my comb and I'll just, I can either mark it,
17:33 or what I'll do is sometimes just use my finger.
17:35 It's a little easier indicator,
17:37 and it goes right there to that wrinkle on my thumb.
17:40 Right?
17:41 So that's gonna be how much longer I cut this side
17:44 once I get the guide.
17:45 So again, what we can control.
17:58 Checking my over direction.
18:00 Slide until I see my guide.
18:03 There she is.
18:04 There's my finger angle change.
18:07 Very little comes off that.
18:08 Now we're just gonna take that away.
18:12 And again, sliding as we work to maintain
18:15 that diagonal finger angle that was created
18:19 from the over direction.
18:21 So again, there it is.
18:23 See that diagonal finger angle.
18:24 There's my guide.
18:25 Slide past.
18:27 As I work, I'm out cutting.
18:29 I'll just slide out so that hair doesn't reach.
18:33 Check this last bit.
18:34 There's a little bit, and I can just point cut that smidger
18:38 so I don't cut myself.
18:40 Move into this front bit.
18:42 And this is where it gets a little longer.
18:46 So we're gonna take that first subsection,
18:48 split him, combine the two sections.
18:55 Now maintain the elevation.
18:57 There's my guide.
19:00 So we said we wanna go that thumb wrinkle distance longer.
19:05 So I'm gonna slide that thumb wrinkle distance longer,
19:10 and now I'm gonna start my graduation.
19:14 Moving to the next subsection.
19:18 I'm gonna take the rest of this top.
19:22 I don't think it's gonna reach.
19:24 (background noise drowns out other sounds)
19:26 We're gonna comb it clean.
19:28 Stay right on that corner back.
19:30 Comb that section.
19:34 Find where we left off.
19:38 That doesn't reach.
19:39 Now we're just gonna check and continue down a little bit.
19:42 Just follow that line.
19:44 Remember, we've gone that distance that it's off longer.
19:47 Again, for a recap, I can go here
19:52 and then just point cut this
19:54 if I'm worried about the technique.
19:59 There's another, I would cut it with a razor.
20:01 But now, when we comb this guy out,
20:04 if you come here at center back,
20:06 and we tap, tap, tap-a-roo this guy,
20:08 if you look at our line of graduation,
20:13 because of the overdirection, right?
20:15 That line of graduation happened,
20:18 and it's balanced because we pre-marked our overdirection.
20:22 So you can see I got crappage.
20:24 The rest of the perimeter and stuff to clean up.
20:26 So we're gonna do that now.
20:28 And then we're gonna loosen the top.
20:30 Let's loosen the top first.
20:32 So we're gonna subdivide the corner.
20:37 Now, because she's got pretty dense hair,
20:45 I'm gonna work vertical sections.
20:48 I'm gonna take this vertical section
20:50 and elevate it up.
20:51 And then I'm gonna wrap and lay it over the head.
20:55 Just get all that hair coming in the right direction,
20:58 but maintaining that vertical section.
21:01 Now, we're gonna wrap and lay that vertical section
21:06 right across the head, right?
21:09 And what you're gonna notice is,
21:10 I wanna leave more volume at the top, so more hair.
21:14 So I want my finger angle to be diagonal, like so, right?
21:19 So now we're just gonna come in from the underneath,
21:21 and we're just gonna outcut short to long, like so.
21:26 I'm gonna come to the other side.
21:33 So again, the elevation maintains the density
21:39 for the bottom and the techniques.
21:41 (background noise drowns out other sounds)
21:45 Creates the texture.
21:46 Guide near from the underneath.
21:51 And again, I can point cut that guy away.
21:53 If I want, or I can outcut it.
22:02 So people are like, "Well, why did you start here
22:09 "and not in the back?"
22:10 Think about the head is not a perfect circle.
22:13 And look how long she is, her head shape is here,
22:16 and how quick it changes in the back.
22:18 So I wanted a lot of the over-direction
22:20 on my low graduation, so I didn't cut this too short.
22:23 Now I'm going back where the hair's a lot longer
22:25 from the over-direction.
22:27 I'm using high elevation to maintain the density,
22:30 so that I can create a fluid look,
22:32 but leave enough hair to the bottom.
22:34 That makes sense.
22:37 Now we'll borrow a little bit here
22:39 from what we previously cut.
22:40 I'm gonna frame out the hairline,
22:43 so I don't create less density there.
22:47 Use some over-direction to the front.
22:50 There you can see my guide.
22:51 And now I'm gonna just come in and just release that hair.
22:54 Now I'm gonna do this guy.
23:02 Borrow a bit of the guide.
23:08 Take a diagonal back to release the hairline,
23:11 get that little guy.
23:12 Maintain that front corner.
23:15 I'm still gonna bring it up.
23:16 Now this guy comes up.
23:18 People are like, "Well, you didn't cut it, it doesn't blend."
23:22 Remember, diagonal section rounds or blends.
23:25 So I've taken diagonal back, I'm blending the section.
23:29 Now I'll slide over the top.
23:31 Again, we've cut the side a little longer
23:34 because of the difference in how much hair is there.
23:38 I'm just gonna pull up so I can see where my guide is.
23:42 And again, we're cutting short from the bottom,
23:44 long to the top.
23:46 So when it falls, there's more hair up through this top.
23:49 So now we just gotta cut the perimeter last.
23:56 First, we're gonna add a little accent piece.
23:57 I'm gonna bring that guy right to corner of the eye.
24:02 I'm gonna grab this section.
24:05 Again, I'm just gonna put a twist on him.
24:08 And I'm gonna eyeball about where I want him to sit.
24:16 And then I'm just gonna come in
24:17 and I'm gonna kind of bite my way out.
24:21 I'm gonna clean this little extra bit off.
24:26 Do it again.
24:27 Again, we want that kind of chunky texture.
24:31 So by kind of chewing on it a little bit
24:34 inside that section,
24:36 I kind of create that kind of chunky texture
24:38 that helps that guy kind of move.
24:40 Now let's finish the perimeter.
24:44 Comb this guy out and that's a ball.
24:46 - Ashley Gabera says she's excited
24:48 for your class this weekend.
24:50 - Where does she work at?
24:54 - Ashley, where do you work at?
24:56 - I got two classes this weekend.
24:59 (indistinct chatter)
25:02 - So there's my corner back.
25:06 Split that guy in half.
25:07 There you can see where we've gotten longer.
25:12 Two fingers graduation.
25:14 And now we're just gonna kind of point cut that away.
25:18 Now we're gonna move to the corner back.
25:20 Now that we're into these last sections,
25:21 I'm gonna move the head a little bit.
25:23 So I'm gonna just turn it to the inside
25:25 so I can get that guy in low elevation.
25:29 But I can still get my two fingers in to follow the line.
25:33 I'm just gonna point cut matching
25:36 and then I'm coming downhill on that point cut too.
25:39 So that way I can create.
25:41 And then you can see that guy sit in there.
25:43 Now I'm moving to the side.
25:45 So you notice we're at the high point.
25:47 So we go behind the ear
25:48 and then we go in front of the ear.
25:50 We don't go over the ear.
25:56 Again, like a lot of people go like that, you get a hole.
25:58 So we got that extra length from going behind the ear.
26:01 Now we're gonna borrow a little bit of that guy.
26:04 And like my good friend Hugo Urias says,
26:07 even though we're at two fingers graduation,
26:09 I still wanna be in at the chin and two fingers.
26:12 'Cause the head shape's like this.
26:13 If I cut it like this,
26:14 that front's likely to flip out on me.
26:17 So I'm just gonna get her in position
26:19 in two fingers graduation.
26:22 And again, make sure I got a bit from that back.
26:25 There he is right there.
26:26 Boom.
26:27 I'm going 45 in the room.
26:29 That helps me cut the other side.
26:31 So first I'm gonna cut uphill.
26:34 And then I'm gonna come back down, downhill.
26:37 She knows we undercut the back,
26:42 but there's not as much need to undercut the front.
26:45 'Cause from the nape down,
26:47 she has less hair and the graduation.
26:50 That guy barely sits.
26:51 And so now I'm just gonna eyeball that front bit.
26:54 Come that guy in.
26:55 You can see that nice framage that happened
26:57 from the technique.
27:00 We leave our corner,
27:02 got that little money bit right there.
27:03 Whoop, whoop.
27:05 Now we're gonna move to the other side.
27:07 Turner.
27:12 Again, changing direction, high point.
27:16 Coming right behind the ear.
27:22 Two fingers graduation, going off that longer bit.
27:25 Turner a little more.
27:29 And again, I'm not pressing it in.
27:38 I've got my graduation to kind of help create
27:41 a little softness at that bottom.
27:44 Now I'll move to this front bit,
27:45 borrow a bit of what we cut.
27:47 Remember we said 45 degrees in the room.
27:50 There's my 45.
27:51 In at the chin.
27:53 And now we're gonna come through and release that hair.
27:56 And now we'll come up here.
27:57 I save, always save that little money piece
28:01 'cause once you cut it, it's gone.
28:04 So now I'll bring her head back up
28:05 and I just check my symmetry to the bottom
28:10 and then I can cut that little money piece.
28:13 Now we're good.
28:13 So now you can see I have my balance to my front.
28:19 I'm evenly balanced.
28:21 'Cause this will just stay longer
28:22 to cover the front part of the ear.
28:24 I'll get it out of the way.
28:25 So I just need the front to be a little bit.
28:28 - Boom, baby.
28:30 Now it's time to style her.
28:31 Go ahead and get some progress.
28:37 - Hi.
28:39 You excited?
28:41 - Yeah.
28:42 - Looks so good already.
28:43 Are you good here?
28:46 - Yeah. - Okay.
28:47 - Yeah, looks so good.
28:49 Thank you.
28:50 (laughs)
28:50 - I'm gonna do two things.
28:54 I'm gonna search for fingers.
28:56 (indistinct)
28:58 - Boom.
29:26 First, diamond oil.
29:27 Two pumps.
29:28 Starting on the ends.
29:33 Then working our way up.
29:34 - Vanessa Schaffer asked if this technique
29:40 would work on someone with a lot of hair.
29:42 - Yes, that's why I like, okay.
29:44 So here's the side of her hair.
29:45 Like see how dense of hair she has?
29:48 And she's got a good amount of hair, right?
29:51 So that's why we cut it the way that we cut it.
29:54 If you take thinning shears to thick hair,
29:56 it turns into a dandelion, would you agree?
29:59 Right?
30:00 Like it can get like weak and flimsy.
30:04 So if you thin it too much,
30:06 so if I can use a technique that watch as I touch that hair,
30:09 creates the texture for me wet.
30:12 The work that I have to do dry is minimal.
30:16 So now we're using the primer
30:17 and just kind of shake it first,
30:19 misting it through the hair,
30:20 watching, getting it on the roots here.
30:24 Now I come with Aerie.
30:26 - Oh, who put this on?
30:28 - Volumizing cream mousse.
30:32 - Why, ah?
30:33 - So it gives the hair volume, but smoothness.
30:36 So working in my hands and on again,
30:39 where we want the volume on starting through the crown,
30:42 work through the front where there's less hair
30:45 and the last we'll put it in the nape
30:47 and in the back where there's more hair.
30:49 So again, it's like a good approach
30:51 to your product application is good.
30:56 And last but not least, a little magic potion.
31:01 If you have clients who have natural highlights,
31:04 sparkle bits, you know what I'm talking about?
31:07 If you take a little Argan oil
31:09 and then apply it on those front bits
31:12 where there are the most sparkles.
31:14 Argan oil I find is the best combative.
31:19 That and frizz dismiss for filling with that gray hair.
31:24 So I'm gonna blow dry this out
31:26 and then I'll come back to you guys
31:28 so you don't have to hear my blow dryer running.
31:30 And I'll come back to you with the finished result,
31:33 little texture maybe if we need it,
31:35 and maybe a little Marcel set.
31:38 So thanks for tuning in.
31:40 It's been a while.
31:41 Just be here over and out.
31:43 See you in a bit.
