00:07 Our children's interaction is actually online.

00:10 And we know that cyberbullying is a fact.

00:12 There's a lot of online predators there.

00:15 Even people that our kids know online or even offline.

00:18 But what can you do if your child won't open up to you?

00:21 Get to know your child again.

00:22 Sit down and spend time with the child.

00:24 The reason why the child may not want you to know, because they don't want parents to

00:29 worry.

00:30 They don't want you to feel angry or get back at the other child or do something with the

00:34 other person beyond the child's control.

00:37 And they might also have feelings of shame and embarrassment for you to know what really

00:41 happened.

00:42 So sometimes our attack is, "I want to know, I want to do something about that other person."

00:48 But this is the time that you need to support your child.

00:51 This is the time that you need to get to know who your child is.

00:54 To slowly enter the child's world so that you will slowly gain the relationship and

00:59 they will open up to you.

01:00 It's not going to be easy.

01:02 It's not a short-term solution.

01:04 But this can be a long-term solution for the two of you.
