00:00 I'm here to join Emma, our great candidate, in campaigning because Liberal Democrats have
00:03 a real chance of taking this seat off the Conservatives. Everyone knows it's a two-horse
00:08 race between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives here in mid Bedfordshire. But
00:12 I'm also calling for the Prime Minister to sack Nadine Dorris. The people of mid Bedfordshire
00:19 have been failed by their MP. She's totally absent. And it's time the Conservative leader
00:26 and Prime Minister actually showed people that they're not so out of touch. I doubt
00:32 he will. But he's so weak, he's failing to sack Nadine Dorris. That's what he should
00:37 do. We'll wait to see what happens when Parliament gets back. But the Prime Minister could act
00:42 today. He could remove the whip from Nadine Dorris today. He could sack Nadine Dorris
00:47 today. I'm afraid we have a Conservative Prime Minister who's out of touch, incredibly weak.
00:53 And he, like Nadine Dorris, is letting down the people of mid Bedfordshire. They need
00:57 someone who's going to champion them in this cost of living crisis, who's going to fight
01:01 for the local NHS. There's far too few GPs here, for example. And the Conservative MP,
01:06 Nadine Dorris, and the Conservative Party and the government are failing the people
01:10 locally. We'd also have to wait for Nadine Dorris to resign. But it would send a signal
01:17 that the Conservative Party wouldn't have any truck with this absentee MP, this MP who's
01:22 letting people down. At the moment, they're conniving, they're working with Nadine Dorris,
01:27 keeping her in place, supporting her as a Conservative MP. That is quite shocking in
01:33 the way that she's behaving. If Rishi Sunak doesn't act, it shows how out of touch and
01:38 weak he is.
01:39 These are called chocolate toothpaste. They're a Bedfordshire delicacy. We want to support
01:52 local business. I don't think you're supposed to clean your teeth with it.
01:59 No, not really good for teeth cleaning.
02:01 Mmm. That's not bad at all.
02:08 Mmm.
02:10 Are you a physical artist?
02:12 Yes, definitely.
02:14 I was told to only have one bite, I'm going to have a second.
02:18 Mmm.
