00:09 happy to be out there with my guys, seeing them smile every play and stuff.
00:14 But obviously coming away with the win, that's probably the biggest thing,
00:18 no matter how we do it, just coming away with the win.
00:22 >> Given your family's history here and everything, how much more do these moments
00:25 like that I mean to you and everything in your family?
00:28 >> It's really cool for sure to see my family in the stands and
00:32 I know that they support me, so it's really cool.
00:36 >> Did you hear from dad yet?
00:38 >> No, I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet.
00:41 >> Did your dad ever, he was never as fast as you were?
00:44 >> No, but he could run.
00:46 >> He was bigger than you though.
00:47 >> Yeah, he was, he was like 240, he ran like a four six.

00:53 I mean, how cool is that to get two in the opener?
00:57 >> That's pretty cool.
00:59 I've always wanted to make plays and when your number's called,
01:05 like I said before, just being able to go out and execute.
01:07 >> Lots of new guys make plays from your position group.
01:13 What do you think it does for confidence and how good is it to see them do that?
01:16 >> Man, it's the biggest thing.
01:19 It's so fun to see everybody make plays, cuz we all know each other can make plays.
01:23 And just going out there and them making plays and
01:26 everybody on the receiver squad making plays, it's just like,
01:29 it just makes the whole receiver room just that much like,
01:32 you know, like the chemistry with everybody.
01:35 But I love it, my guys, man, every day.
01:39 I mean, I'm not surprised they make plays cuz they make them every day in practice,
01:41 but it's cool.
01:44 >> Did you think about what Jackson did, he had a pretty big ovation.
01:46 >> Yeah, yeah, on his birthday too, birthday boy, yeah.
01:50 Excited for him too, man, he's so talented, he's insane.

02:02 >> Personally, I like it, it's just it's different than Gavin cuz we got like
02:07 three Gavins on the team, but it's pretty funny because it was really Marvin that
02:11 kinda, he kinda came up with it, but.
02:14 >> What's the back story, can you tell us much on it?
02:16 >> I don't know, we were just sitting in meetings all the time, and
02:20 we'd be right by each other, so I don't know, that's as much as I can say.

02:28 >> Yeah, real quick, I just got here, but
02:30 how's it feel to kinda start off the season with a breakout game like that?
02:35 >> It's cool, especially just knowing my guys next to me,
02:38 they're having the same kind of breakout too, like the receiver.
02:41 Just being able to play with them and
02:45 being able to perform the best of my ability with them and having fun.
02:47 >> There's kind of a lot of talk about you being one of the guys that kinda made
02:50 a statement in preseason camp and stuff like that.
02:53 Did you kinda feel an affirmation that you proved him right here?
02:56 >> I wouldn't say prove right, I would say, I don't know,
03:03 just I know my ability and confidence wise, what I can do.
03:10 It's more about proving myself, right?
03:12 Cuz you gotta believe in yourself at the end of the day,
03:15 just to know you can make just plays and stuff, so.
03:19 >> Gavin, it's one game, so it's early in the season, but
03:22 is it too early to say this season feels different than last season?
03:26 >> No, I wouldn't say no, I was hearing that from the guys too in the locker room.
03:29 >> Yeah, that's true.
03:30 >> It's just, atmosphere for sure feels different.
03:32 >> How so?
03:33 >> Just everybody, I don't know, everybody just loves to be here.
03:39 I don't wanna say no one loved to be here last year, but
03:41 everybody's just, I feel like we're closer.
03:43 >> With more time on the coaching staff, does that give you guys more confidence,
03:46 more comfort, things like that, I guess?
03:49 >> I would say so, yeah.
03:50 Just being able to practice to the best of our ability every day, so.

03:57 >> Gavin, what'd you think of not just Dylan's performance today, but
04:00 what he gets out of the guys around you, you included?
04:03 >> Man, I can't say enough about DG, man.
04:06 It's just like every day in practice, he's the same guy every day.
04:11 Just going through everything, he gets better every day.
04:14 Even though he's the same guy every day, he gets better still.
04:16 And then he comes out and shows it in the game where he got better.
04:20 And he gets better game by game.
04:21 And just him knowing the offense so well, literally the back of his hand.
04:26 And that's not even an exaggeration, everything.
04:30 With him knowing it, it just makes our job that much easier because he finds
04:34 a man, we catch the ball, we help him out by catching it.
04:37 So we're playing complimentary football, just going out and
04:40 making plays and supporting him.
