00:00:03 It is time to make it to our third part of the Final Destination.
00:00:08 It's Final Destination 3. Where are we going?
00:00:10 We're gonna go on the roller coaster of love today.
00:00:13 Roller coaster. Okay, you predicted Highway to Hell.
00:00:15 I'm predicting Roller Coaster of Love. Let's see if that's true.
00:00:18 I see roller coaster. I think it's fun family movie.
00:00:22 It's probably gonna be their first comedy in the franchise.
00:00:24 A first comedy? These past two have been hilarious.
00:00:28 Yeah, all the physical comedy that you told me would be there.
00:00:31 You guys like these movies as much as we do and you like that we're doing these reactions,
00:00:34 don't forget to like this video, subscribe, all that good stuff.
00:00:38 Also, if you want to get the full-length reaction watch along,

00:00:52 reaction highlights and watch alongs included.
00:00:55 That's where all the super sexy rejects are. Oh yeah.
00:00:59 Oh yeah.
00:00:59 The way that you are rubber chickening your neck right now.
00:01:03 I didn't stretch.
00:01:04 Here we go. Time to charm.
00:01:05 I want her to wish your Grammy a happy birthday.
00:01:08 It's my Grammy's 96th birthday.
00:01:10 She's going there immediately after this.
00:01:12 Yeah, I am.
00:01:13 So she thought she should get a horror show in right before going to see her grandparents.
00:01:17 She wanted cotton pajamas.
00:01:19 Aw, that's so sweet.
00:01:21 So that's exactly what she'll get.
00:01:22 Happy birthday.
00:01:23 Okay, but did you hear my third time's a charm reference?
00:01:26 Like that was a great transition that you-
00:01:28 I might have been so focused on making sure I got my thing in there that I didn't quite,
00:01:32 but good job.
00:01:33 Because I found the same three.
00:01:35 So third time's a charm now.
00:01:37 [music]
00:01:44 We're back.
00:01:45 Cassie was back.
00:01:47 Back again.
00:01:48 Greg and Roxy are back.
00:01:49 Tell a friend.
00:01:50 Yeah, tell all your friends.
00:01:51 Tell all your friends.
00:01:52 Tweet it out.
00:01:53 Recommend this video to your abs.
00:01:54 [music]
00:02:00 He's stoked.
00:02:00 We're at the theme park already.
00:02:01 We're at the theme park.
00:02:02 Let's go.
00:02:03 Roller coaster.
00:02:04 [music]
00:02:10 This is a cool intro.
00:02:11 This is way more horror-like, I feel.
00:02:14 Like this is it vibes.
00:02:15 [music]
00:02:18 That's cool, the tarot cards.
00:02:20 [music]
00:02:22 Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in this?
00:02:25 I love her.
00:02:25 [music]
00:02:30 Waiting to see you direct this because this looks really good.
00:02:33 Bright colors, different.
00:02:35 More pop.
00:02:36 [music]
00:02:39 Oh boy, the anxiety of a theme park.
00:02:42 I think it's a carnival.
00:02:43 Yeah, definitely.
00:02:44 [music]
00:02:46 James Wong.
00:02:47 [music]
00:02:50 Oh, James Wong co-wrote it.
00:02:52 Cool.
00:02:52 [music]
00:02:54 James Wong is back to direct it.
00:02:56 So he did all three of these so far?
00:02:58 He did the first one and he didn't do the second one.
00:03:00 Oh.
00:03:01 [music]
00:03:04 I love these rides.
00:03:06 They tell you to scream on the way up to tighten your stomach
00:03:09 so it doesn't drop as much.
00:03:10 That is a scary shot.
00:03:12 [music]
00:03:20 Kid on the right, what is his name?
00:03:22 Is he Texas Longbottom or whatever that guy's name was?
00:03:25 Very, very famous.
00:03:26 We are going to get annihilated for that.
00:03:28 [music]
00:03:31 What do you see?
00:03:32 [music]
00:03:34 No V.
00:03:35 Hot die?
00:03:36 Yeah, die.
00:03:37 And the feel of that would be to just crash and burn like that?
00:03:40 Yeah, yeah.
00:03:40 Maybe bring-
00:03:41 Oh, what TV show?
00:03:43 Is it Dawson's Creek or what?
00:03:45 Who is it?
00:03:46 Yeah, he looks like he's played a really nice guy before or a douchebag.
00:03:50 Seventh Heaven?
00:03:51 No, he's from one of those shows we watched growing up.
00:03:53 Oh, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, man.
00:03:57 Never heard that one before.
00:03:58 Yeah.
00:03:58 I love how the main characters are always in the situations where
00:04:06 they're with their friends and it's the most terrifying situation beforehand for them.
00:04:10 This can't be a carnival, right?
00:04:12 Carnivals don't have roller coasters like that.
00:04:14 It's a movie carnival.
00:04:15 Come on, it's not even mine, Kevin.
00:04:17 It's the yearbook.
00:04:17 Oh, I said Kevin and his name is Kevin.
00:04:19 Upskirting women is a big no-no.
00:04:24 These are for the yearbook.
00:04:25 I doubt it.
00:04:26 If a shot of Stacy Kovacic's camel, I'm going to make it in there.
00:04:29 I'd buy two.
00:04:30 We got the bros back.
00:04:34 He would make me crazy.
00:04:36 I'm breaking up with him.
00:04:39 Get it, girl.
00:04:40 Uh-huh.
00:04:41 You don't need no man.
00:04:43 Now, that shot there, that'll sell some yearbooks.
00:04:46 I love it.
00:04:47 Was it One Tree Hill?
00:04:49 No.
00:04:49 He does look familiar.
00:04:51 I think he's in another horror movie.
00:04:53 I love the 2000s thongs out.
00:04:56 Same as the exact things, the last two, focusing on weird images.
00:05:03 That was so awesome.
00:05:05 Ashley?
00:05:06 Ashley.
00:05:08 Oh, my God, Paz.
00:05:09 I do miss carnivals.
00:05:11 Haven't been to one in a long time.
00:05:12 You've got to stop calling it a carnival, though, bro.
00:05:14 It is a carnival.
00:05:15 How is it a carnival?
00:05:16 Like, what about the pier?
00:05:17 What do you call the Santa Monica pier?
00:05:18 Back off, man.
00:05:22 So fair.
00:05:27 Here we go.
00:05:29 Oh, my God.
00:05:35 Is he our token black guy?
00:05:38 That's what I'm talking about.
00:05:39 Oh, no.
00:05:41 Oh, no.
00:05:41 Oh, no.
00:05:44 Oh, no.
00:05:44 Oh, no.
00:05:45 Oh, no.
00:05:46 Oh, no.
00:05:47 Oh, no.
00:05:47 Oh, no.
00:05:48 Oh, no.
00:05:49 Oh, no.
00:05:51 I thought he was going to decapitate someone.
00:05:58 Me transcending became one with you saying, "Oh, no."
00:06:02 There it is.
00:06:07 Oop, there it is.
00:06:08 Pump the jams.
00:06:10 Look at the nipples on that devil.
00:06:15 This is a really nice carnival.
00:06:17 This is a carnival.
00:06:20 The prizes and or it could be the pier.
00:06:22 They say the real fear with these rides comes from the feeling of having no control.
00:06:27 It's a dude in the other horror movie you made me watch.
00:06:30 What movie?
00:06:31 With the newspaper and the family and their dead.
00:06:36 Black phone?
00:06:37 That was Ethan Hawke.
00:06:38 No, not Black phone.
00:06:40 Have you ever seen that?
00:06:49 No exit after turnstile?
00:06:51 Yeah, something along those lines.
00:06:53 Okay, so which of her friends do you think are going to die first?
00:06:56 Ooh, probably her best friend.
00:06:58 The girl who's going to dump the dude?
00:06:59 Yeah.
00:07:02 You see, I think James Wong is a much better composer with his frames.
00:07:07 Like there's much more sharp direction.
00:07:09 A roller coaster is just elemental physics.
00:07:12 A conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy.
00:07:15 Yeah, odds are like one in 250 million of dying on a roller coaster.
00:07:18 Oh my goodness.
00:07:19 Bummer, you're either dead.
00:07:20 You're more likely to die driving to an amusement park than dying at one.
00:07:25 That's true.
00:07:26 Those are some smart documents.
00:07:27 Amusement park, amusement park!
00:07:28 Is an amusement park, damn it.
00:07:30 But you tell me back off.
00:07:32 It's the guy from that other horror movie you made me watch.
00:07:42 The Descent?
00:07:43 No, that, it was all women.
00:07:44 I like this.
00:07:45 Frankie Cheeks is old school, ladies.
00:07:47 What's that?
00:07:49 Oh, well, it'd be my honor.
00:07:51 Oh, oh.
00:07:53 Ew.
00:07:54 Hated that.
00:07:56 This guy is repulsive.
00:07:57 I can't sit in the front.
00:07:58 I cannot see the tracks.
00:08:00 I'll freak.
00:08:00 Well, Carrie will sit in the back with you, right, babe?
00:08:02 Because we're girls?
00:08:04 Oh no, whoever sits with her is going to live.
00:08:06 Whoever doesn't is going to die.
00:08:07 All right, you know what?
00:08:08 We'll just settle this like real men.
00:08:09 How about that?
00:08:10 Call it.
00:08:11 Heads.
00:08:11 Shit.
00:08:14 They found out he died in the newspaper.
00:08:17 We'll figure it out later.
00:08:20 Hey, just do me a favor.
00:08:23 Keep an eye on her because she's kind of freaked out.
00:08:25 Oh, cool.
00:08:26 Yeah.
00:08:26 I have no idea.
00:08:29 That's why he's going back because he's the most famous one.
00:08:31 Oh, okay.
00:08:32 So can't kill him.
00:08:33 Yeah, in the movie.
00:08:34 Ooh, 666.
00:08:38 That's a devil number, baby.
00:08:40 That's devil.
00:08:40 Cool shot.
00:08:45 Here we go.
00:08:46 Hey, Jay, keep your hands to yourself, man.
00:08:49 I'm serious.
00:08:49 God damn you.
00:08:51 Now I'm like trying to figure out.
00:08:53 I don't know what's happening.
00:08:54 What's happening?
00:08:54 He sneaks in there.
00:08:56 Let's just get in the back.
00:08:59 Ooh, now they're going to live.
00:09:00 Or are we going to see the death thing happen and then they never get on?
00:09:05 Meet you at the end.
00:09:05 Hey, how'd you guys get in here?
00:09:11 Come on.
00:09:12 You too.
00:09:13 That was an interesting detail about those little kids.
00:09:15 What do you think that has to do with it?
00:09:16 Yeah, I'm curious too.
00:09:17 What's up, man?
00:09:23 I'm good.
00:09:23 Oh.
00:09:25 Oh.
00:09:27 Yes.
00:09:28 There's dripping blood.
00:09:29 It looks like it.
00:09:31 How do you do on roller coasters?
00:09:32 I used to be great.
00:09:33 Now I'm terrible.
00:09:34 Loser.
00:09:36 Yep.
00:09:36 What?
00:09:37 I'm just kidding.
00:09:38 Is this going to be an enjoyable reaction?
00:09:41 My chest just hurts now whenever I'm on a roller coaster.
00:09:46 I get it.
00:09:46 Oh.
00:09:48 Oh.
00:09:49 Ew.
00:09:50 Ew.
00:09:53 [ROAR]
00:09:55 Maybe once we get back to this, if they don't get on,
00:10:06 the kids do get to stay on or something and then the kids die.
00:10:09 I don't know.
00:10:10 That was a really interesting detail.
00:10:12 My mom.
00:10:19 My moms are acting like this is the roller coaster of the century.
00:10:22 It's exciting.
00:10:23 Everyone's like, this is the most exciting thing ever.
00:10:26 Every time I've been on a roller coaster, we're just like, all right, let's just go.
00:10:29 My mom used to put cardboard in my shoes so I'd be tall enough to ride the rides.
00:10:33 I wonder how safe that was.
00:10:35 It's horrifying.
00:10:36 This looks just like Colossus or Goliath.
00:10:47 I wonder where they shot this.
00:10:49 Also, you wonder how many times they had to shoot these scenes.
00:10:52 I know, right?
00:10:53 Whoa.
00:10:55 Cool.
00:10:58 This is a really well captured roller coaster scene.
00:11:10 Oh, she is not having a good time.
00:11:18 They could be just setting us up right now.
00:11:21 Yeah, they just get off the ride.
00:11:22 It's fine.
00:11:22 Oh, no.
00:11:28 Oh.
00:11:29 Oh, the pervert cost them.
00:11:37 That is so scary.
00:11:43 Yeah, that is so scary.
00:11:44 That is terrifying.
00:11:49 That is scary.
00:11:49 Oh, I got goosebumps.
00:11:55 It's like, how is it going to stop?
00:12:03 Oh, Jesus.
00:12:06 Oh.
00:12:11 Oh, no.
00:12:12 Oh, no.
00:12:13 That is so scary.
00:12:14 They do a great job of taking what are some people's biggest fears
00:12:18 and making them the beginning of their movies.
00:12:20 Yeah.
00:12:21 Oh, my God.
00:12:24 He's holding on.
00:12:25 Grab him.
00:12:26 Grab him.
00:12:27 Oh, no.
00:12:29 His legs.
00:12:29 Oh, Jesus.
00:12:41 Was this all because of the camera or there was like 80 things that happened?
00:12:44 Yeah, there's the pipe bursting too.
00:12:46 Oh, Jesus.
00:12:55 Whoa, they really hung those people there.
00:13:10 Oh, me rocket smart.
00:13:11 Oh, no.
00:13:19 That is so scary.
00:13:20 Sit down.
00:13:29 Sit down.
00:13:30 Oh, my God.
00:13:30 There we go.
00:13:43 You know, that honestly might have been the scariest one to me.
00:13:54 Yeah, because it's so many people's irrational fear.
00:13:58 Yeah.
00:13:58 I am so glad they got Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
00:14:10 She is such a great actress.
00:14:12 Yeah, she's really good.
00:14:13 Damn, dude.
00:14:24 Man, she's just trying to get some attention.
00:14:26 You know what? You're a real piece of shit, Lewis.
00:14:27 Fuck you.
00:14:28 Yeah, fuck you.
00:14:29 Oh, great.
00:14:31 The franchise is full of the most insensitive people.
00:14:34 Dude, let me off.
00:14:39 I got to make sure this is okay.
00:14:41 Oh, this poor guy.
00:14:42 Let him out.
00:14:48 They're not going to let him out.
00:14:49 Bummer.
00:14:50 Dude, that's my girlfriend.
00:14:53 Oh, that's sad.
00:14:54 Not for long.
00:14:56 That's sad.
00:14:57 This is what you get for not sitting with your girlfriend.
00:15:00 Yeah.
00:15:00 She can settle down at home.
00:15:06 Now, listen.
00:15:07 What is your home phone number?
00:15:08 Okay, we can call your mother.
00:15:09 They're about to watch everybody start falling.
00:15:12 Jesus!
00:15:13 Wow.
00:15:21 Good one.
00:15:22 Damn, this is a good franchise.
00:15:24 Yeah, that's what I told you.
00:15:26 I know, and I agreed.
00:15:28 That's what I said, and then you also said it, and then I said it again.
00:15:31 We're on the same page.
00:15:34 [Laughter]
00:15:42 I have a feeling I'm going to connect a little bit more to these characters.
00:15:46 Yeah, I'm already in on them.
00:15:47 I really cared about that situation when he couldn't get off of the roller coaster.
00:15:52 Did it say how long after this is?
00:15:57 Not yet.
00:15:57 Oh, he's in the locker.
00:15:59 I'm telling you, he was in the newspaper.
00:16:01 I believe you.
00:16:02 We will look it up later.
00:16:04 Aw.
00:16:07 Give me the exposition.
00:16:10 It's been six months.
00:16:11 Yeah.
00:16:11 If it wasn't for you and Jay being friends, and me and Carrie being friends,
00:16:16 we wouldn't have even hung out.
00:16:18 But now you're gonna be lovers.
00:16:20 Wow, that's cold.
00:16:22 You better get it.
00:16:22 So we're ready for graduation tonight.
00:16:25 We're going to the tanning salon after this,
00:16:27 and we are so totally cool if you want to come with.
00:16:30 Oh, you know there's gonna be a tanning salon death.
00:16:33 You get stuck in there and burn to death.
00:16:35 Yeah.
00:16:35 You're not alone.
00:16:37 God, I appreciate everyone trying to help, okay?
00:16:40 I really do.
00:16:41 No, it's happened before, okay?
00:16:43 I went online looking for an explanation.
00:16:45 I like him.
00:16:48 I know, I like them both.
00:16:49 They really have a lot of angry women in their franchise.
00:16:51 Men ride it.
00:16:54 They went on a trip to Paris.
00:16:55 When they were boarding, a kid had a vision that the plane was going to explode.
00:17:00 And over the next several months,
00:17:02 everyone who got off that plane started dying in weird accidents.
00:17:06 They died in the order they would have if they stay on a plane.
00:17:08 I'm liking this, the characters more.
00:17:14 Do they not know about the car accident one too?
00:17:16 I guess not.
00:17:17 The most televised one was the flight 180.
00:17:20 Also, what did he Google to get that?
00:17:22 Has this ever happened before?
00:17:24 Yeah, that was a popular incident.
00:17:27 This one's a story about grief.
00:17:29 I was thinking of going for 20 minutes in the Muller.
00:17:31 We did that for all the funerals and it turned out amazing.
00:17:34 Extremely flammable.
00:17:37 I was just thinking we'd go for like a tune-up.
00:17:39 I just want to make sure that we look our best.
00:17:41 Yeah.
00:17:41 You know, for all those kids that died that night, we'll never get a graduation.
00:17:45 Have you ever gone on a tanning bed?
00:17:48 No, no.
00:17:49 Have you?
00:17:49 Way too many times when I was a kid.
00:17:52 They're actually very relaxing, I guess, unless they explode.
00:17:55 We'll watch this movie and see what happens.
00:17:58 This is my good guy bracelet that grandma left me in her will.
00:18:03 Julie.
00:18:04 Guys, you're not really mad with each other.
00:18:08 I could use some help.
00:18:09 I can't talk to mom and dad.
00:18:12 They're all I have left.
00:18:14 I can't talk to mom and dad.
00:18:16 You could come stay with me for a while.
00:18:18 You know I will.
00:18:19 Aw.
00:18:21 Yes, yes, sister.
00:18:22 Keep this now and I'll get it when I come see you.
00:18:28 I forget, was she on the ride?
00:18:29 I know she was at the theme park.
00:18:30 I was just questioning that right now too.
00:18:32 I can't remember.
00:18:33 Can I use the school camera for graduation tonight?
00:18:35 Actually, the battery's pretty low, so why don't you go get ready and I'll recharge it a bit.
00:18:40 There's gonna be stuff in the photos.
00:18:42 She gets the photos back on.
00:18:44 The upskirt.
00:18:45 Yeah, that's what's gonna stay.
00:18:47 No drinks in the room this time, okay?
00:18:50 Very 2000s.
00:18:56 [speaking in Russian]
00:19:01 Uh.
00:19:02 What?
00:19:04 He's gonna get stuck outside and he's not gonna be able to help them.
00:19:07 I am really enjoying the refinement aspects of the execution of this.
00:19:17 Oh, don't go above 12 minutes, honey.
00:19:25 What a horrible thing to have happen and I don't even know what happened yet.
00:19:29 What?
00:19:36 What is gonna happen?
00:19:37 He's gonna not be able to open the door.
00:19:39 It's gonna get stuck and they're gonna be stuck in the machines and he can't get them out and
00:19:42 they're gonna like burn to death.
00:19:44 At least one of them.
00:19:45 Maybe.
00:19:46 We'll see.
00:19:46 What does she see?
00:19:50 What?
00:19:53 I don't know what that means.
00:19:55 She literally touched it and I still don't know what it was.
00:19:58 Dude, you said no drinks.
00:19:59 If you spill that shit we're gonna have to clean it up like last time.
00:20:01 Maybe it's just we called her from the machines or whatever.
00:20:10 Oh, a few degrees won't hurt.
00:20:12 I've never been into a salon with two in one room.
00:20:18 Oh, great.
00:20:23 It's so bad for you.
00:20:25 Kids will be kids.
00:20:26 Teens will be teens, Greg.
00:20:27 Shit, I forgot my iPod.
00:20:33 They got CDs.
00:20:34 I feel like there's gonna be some like insane domino effect.
00:20:41 Yet again.
00:20:45 Yeah, this franchise does do interesting things.
00:20:49 I think there's interesting things in this franchise for sure.
00:20:52 Bill Booby never hurt anybody.
00:20:53 Sometimes I just can't take my eyes off the screen, you know?
00:20:55 Because you can't miss anything.
00:20:57 I just can't miss any detail.
00:20:58 You never know what's gonna happen.
00:20:59 You just gotta look.
00:21:00 Maybe we should rewind it.
00:21:01 Oh, this is gonna be disturbing as hell.
00:21:07 I can really feel this.
00:21:08 Yeah.
00:21:09 Let the fun begin.
00:21:15 Oh, no.
00:21:16 I hate you and you looked at it at once.
00:21:33 I said it.
00:21:35 I was looking at something else on screen.
00:21:37 Okay, you got Highway to Hell.
00:21:39 I got Rollercoaster of Love.
00:21:41 Wow, you really called it.
00:21:42 Does that mean that we are predicting the future and therefore...
00:21:52 Are we gonna have something happen?
00:21:55 If the producers are still watching this, can you put us in Final Destination 6?
00:22:00 Please and thank you.
00:22:00 Thank you.
00:22:01 Oh, no.
00:22:07 This is gonna be so gross.
00:22:09 Oh, I...
00:22:09 Oh, no.
00:22:13 With the goggles too, it's creepy.
00:22:19 This is a really smart move of theirs.
00:22:21 Of the movie, not the girls.
00:22:23 I think it's a great combination of both.
00:22:25 Whoa, cool shot.
00:22:26 Sorry, the battery's totally dead.
00:22:28 Camera's not working.
00:22:29 Sorry.
00:22:30 Julie, I need a minute, okay?
00:22:32 Take grandma's necklace back.
00:22:38 I just gotta call him.
00:22:39 We're the odds they play Rollercoaster of Love later in the movie.
00:22:47 Yeah, after the rollercoaster.
00:22:49 That's pretty gnarly.
00:22:50 That is.
00:22:51 You set it too hot in here.
00:22:52 Oh, okay.
00:23:01 Oh, no.
00:23:06 Death, you genius.
00:23:08 This is Wendy.
00:23:09 Give me a call whenever you guys are done and thanks again for the invite.
00:23:12 Stay calm.
00:23:16 Sorry I was too late.
00:23:17 You can cool your body down with meditation.
00:23:20 Oh, no.
00:23:27 You can't slide out of there.
00:23:29 Greg.
00:23:34 Greg.
00:23:36 Greg.
00:23:36 Oh, God.
00:23:41 Ew.
00:23:45 They are not going to look good for graduation.
00:23:52 Whoa.
00:23:57 Oh, how horrible.
00:24:05 That was--
00:24:05 Whoa, great match.
00:24:07 Good.
00:24:07 Did you see that?
00:24:08 Damn.
00:24:08 That was horrifying.
00:24:11 I know.
00:24:12 Oh, my God, Greg.
00:24:14 The end of the nudity.
00:24:17 Yes, that was the sad part.
00:24:19 We are all equal in death's eyes.
00:24:25 They just like dress the same everywhere they go.
00:24:27 All of us?
00:24:28 How can you say that?
00:24:29 Shut up, McKinley.
00:24:30 Dude, think it through.
00:24:31 Charlie Manson, mid to 70.
00:24:33 Osama.
00:24:33 Let's go.
00:24:34 Still kicking.
00:24:35 Pimps.
00:24:36 Nope.
00:24:36 We got him.
00:24:37 We got his ass.
00:24:38 America.
00:24:38 You'd be happy to know.
00:24:39 These two girls who never done shit to anybody.
00:24:44 They don't get to make it to 18?
00:24:45 What?
00:24:47 Yeah.
00:24:48 Fine.
00:24:49 Mary Elizabeth Winston wants to get off the ride.
00:24:51 Says she's a bitch who wants attention.
00:24:53 Guy freaks out at a funeral.
00:24:54 Come on, bro.
00:24:55 Let's go.
00:24:56 This is so my fault.
00:24:57 Seeing women is nothing but fun bags.
00:25:03 If I had seen their whatever, humanity,
00:25:07 they wouldn't have felt the pressure to look so good.
00:25:10 Impress Franklin Cheeks.
00:25:13 She looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt.
00:25:15 Be proud of your ability to make everything that happens somehow a story about you.
00:25:19 Oh my god.
00:25:22 That was great.
00:25:28 That was so funny.
00:25:31 Yeah, man.
00:25:31 I think just James Wan really knows how to capture the colors of movies, man.
00:25:36 This looks so good.
00:25:36 Hey, if you ever have to come to my funeral,
00:25:39 man, bring me a PSP or something.
00:25:41 At least I have something to do then.
00:25:42 Hello?
00:25:43 I'm with Jay.
00:25:44 You think they're going to fall in love?
00:25:49 We haven't had that happen full blown yet.
00:25:51 Be a little disrespectful, huh?
00:25:53 I don't know, man.
00:25:54 Works in mysterious ways.
00:25:56 I didn't want to upset anyone by being there.
00:25:59 And I wondered if maybe here I could feel Jay's spirit or presence.
00:26:03 If there's any place that makes you feel like there's no life after death.
00:26:06 Huh.
00:26:07 Yeah, I haven't felt Carrie's spirit either.
00:26:09 You know, I tried.
00:26:11 Good conversation.
00:26:13 No, it's just to get me on the ride.
00:26:15 He said, "Your fear is from a sense of having no control."
00:26:19 Huh.
00:26:20 And I felt that fear since the moment he said it.
00:26:23 It's like a presence.
00:26:24 Like a living thing.
00:26:27 Always with me.
00:26:28 Remember Carrie was going to break up with him.
00:26:31 Yeah, yeah.
00:26:32 She hasn't even mentioned that.
00:26:34 Yeah, she will.
00:26:36 In a mean moment.
00:26:37 It's cold.
00:26:37 And terrifying.
00:26:40 Trippy.
00:26:44 So trying to think about the roller coaster, who should be next then?
00:26:47 The two girls and then the guy who was videotaping them.
00:26:50 The one who just tried to kiss.
00:26:51 Yeah, yeah.
00:26:52 Probably.
00:26:52 Although he took their spaces.
00:26:56 Yeah.
00:26:56 So really, would they be next?
00:26:58 They were last.
00:26:59 No, but remember, originally they were behind the two girls.
00:27:03 And then the guy jumped in front of them and took their spaces.
00:27:05 I don't remember well enough, yeah.
00:27:07 To videotape them.
00:27:08 And that's when they moved to the back where the kids were.
00:27:11 The photographic plate was broken, causing a line that can't be removed.
00:27:14 Exactly where he was shot.
00:27:15 What?
00:27:18 Look.
00:27:19 See the shadow?
00:27:21 Well, what do these pictures have to do with us?
00:27:23 This occurred one year to the day of the flight 180.
00:27:25 Hey, part two.
00:27:26 But you can't believe every weird thing out there because you're desperate for an answer.
00:27:29 I took these.
00:27:30 I don't get what you see.
00:27:34 I'm totally missing whatever it is.
00:27:39 There's like an image of it that's like a line, these 180 degrees.
00:27:43 So it's a line.
00:27:45 Oh.
00:27:46 I think is what she's saying.
00:27:47 What's Frankie's picture look like?
00:27:49 It's right here.
00:27:49 Watch out!
00:27:54 Hey!
00:27:55 Sorry!
00:27:58 I think death feels more like a haunting, looming presence in this one too.
00:28:01 Oh, good advertisement.
00:28:09 There's donkeys?
00:28:09 Yeah.
00:28:10 Well, this is obvious.
00:28:12 He's falling off a ladder.
00:28:13 A rope ladder, though.
00:28:14 Maybe he might hang.
00:28:16 Oh, okay.
00:28:16 So in the pictures, there's...
00:28:18 It alludes to how they die.
00:28:19 Okay, yeah.
00:28:20 There's just signs in there.
00:28:21 What, like he's going to get crushed by a giant SpongeBob?
00:28:24 Uh-oh, uh-oh.
00:28:25 Hey, SpongeBob lives underwater.
00:28:27 So sad that you know that.
00:28:30 Everybody knows that.
00:28:31 It's a song.
00:28:32 What was the 180 part, though?
00:28:34 Aren't those usually on those big 18-wheelers?
00:28:36 Yeah, yeah.
00:28:37 I don't see it in this picture anywhere, though.
00:28:39 All right!
00:28:42 Yeah, it's because he's not going to get killed by the 18-wheeler.
00:28:45 You guys were next.
00:28:47 I feel like he's about to die.
00:28:51 What do you want?
00:28:51 Are you okay?
00:28:55 Yeah, we're in trouble.
00:28:56 No, they're going to get skipped over, but it is coming right now.
00:29:00 180.
00:29:03 180.
00:29:04 Wait, that guy's way too close to my truck.
00:29:08 Way too fucking close, man!
00:29:09 Pull up!
00:29:10 Oh, death is having so much fun.
00:29:15 Someone walking behind you.
00:29:18 Oh, shit.
00:29:25 Get out, get out.
00:29:26 There's no one in that truck!
00:29:28 Watching your footstep.
00:29:30 What an insane domino effect.
00:29:32 Oh, is that pervert guy?
00:29:34 In front of them?
00:29:36 Remember, I told you they were next.
00:29:43 Now, if it's pervert guy in front of them, he's going to die.
00:29:45 Kick out, kick out.
00:29:50 Yep, yep, get out.
00:29:52 Get out.
00:29:53 No!
00:29:58 It was pervert guy.
00:30:00 Did you see him?
00:30:01 I saw him, but I don't think it was.
00:30:02 Oh, it was.
00:30:03 Good one.
00:30:05 So was it coming for pervert guy or was it coming for that?
00:30:08 Pervert guy.
00:30:08 But why then in the first movie was it based on your original seats,
00:30:12 not the seats that you sat in?
00:30:14 I have no idea.
00:30:16 You know what I'm saying, though?
00:30:18 Yeah.
00:30:19 We can walk to my house and then I'll give you a ride to yours.
00:30:22 Thanks, we'll be okay.
00:30:23 You know, I feel like this one is doing, you asked me in the last video,
00:30:29 what I wish the sequels would do, and this one's giving it to me.
00:30:32 Like, there's more tension.
00:30:32 Making them care about the deaths.
00:30:34 I care more, yeah.
00:30:35 No, them care about the deaths, that's what you were--
00:30:37 Yeah, well, overall I do just care more about everything.
00:30:41 But the characters care more about the deaths.
00:30:42 Yes, I agree with you on that.
00:30:44 Okay, easy.
00:30:46 Cool, cool.
00:30:48 Hand!
00:30:49 All right, he was behind Ashley and Ashlyn on the ride,
00:30:52 but there was no ladder here.
00:30:53 You know, there was no rope, nothing.
00:30:54 Because this one was coming for you guys.
00:30:56 It's better not knowing.
00:30:57 No, it's never better staying ignorant.
00:31:00 Willful ignorance is surrendering control.
00:31:02 There's philosophy in this movie, man.
00:31:10 Oh.
00:31:11 Tell him.
00:31:12 Don't tell him.
00:31:13 Tell him.
00:31:13 Why would you do that?
00:31:15 Because then she could have a shot.
00:31:16 You know, I was gonna ask her to marry me.
00:31:20 Oh, really?
00:31:21 She was gonna break up with you.
00:31:23 Upskirt picture.
00:31:31 This picture shows how he died.
00:31:32 All right, go back to Lewis.
00:31:34 The weight looks like it's coming down on his head.
00:31:36 This is so cool.
00:31:38 You got to interpret photos.
00:31:40 Oh, that is really awesome.
00:31:41 Agreed.
00:31:42 Weird logic.
00:31:56 Would you want to see?
00:31:57 I would want to see.
00:31:58 100%.
00:31:58 I want to see, yeah.
00:31:59 They're literally like personal trainers who have died at the gym
00:32:05 from weightlifting wrong and an accident happening.
00:32:08 Of course.
00:32:09 I love the game of clues in this one.
00:32:20 You both lost people real close to you in a f***ed up way.
00:32:23 And in order to feel less guilty or whatever,
00:32:26 see in signs and patterns, man.
00:32:27 Did they say that something would smash on his head?
00:32:30 Based on the images.
00:32:31 Yeah, it looked like something was gonna smash on his head.
00:32:33 So they should be on the lookout for something smashing on his head.
00:32:38 But that would cut off his head, not smash.
00:32:40 Yeah, but that's in the picture.
00:32:41 It's a mislead.
00:32:42 Right, no, they're just seeing that the bear's here, this is here.
00:32:45 You're here and alive because of her.
00:32:47 No, I'm alive because of me.
00:32:48 You don't get it, man.
00:32:49 Does that make sense to you?
00:32:50 Because that's bullshit.
00:32:52 Two movies in a row where the black guy really doesn't believe.
00:32:55 Talk about a vision.
00:33:03 I hope they save him.
00:33:03 Four years from now,
00:33:05 Lewis and Meryl are going in the second round of Oakland.
00:33:08 Oh, stop.
00:33:09 15 seasons of force.
00:33:11 I can't get over how great the direction is in this.
00:33:16 Oh no.
00:33:16 Kevin.
00:33:18 Because baby, I just win.
00:33:19 I just win, Kevin.
00:33:20 That's all I know how to do.
00:33:22 I just win.
00:33:23 You think it's gonna happen?
00:33:25 Yeah.
00:33:26 Stop.
00:33:28 Ew.
00:33:29 Stop him.
00:33:29 It's gonna fall on his head.
00:33:34 Oh no, something's gonna crush his head.
00:33:36 Something's gonna crush his head.
00:33:38 No.
00:33:38 His head's open.
00:33:40 That's all I know how to do, Kevin.
00:33:42 Baby, I just win.
00:33:43 That was like the dentist scene for me.
00:33:49 Just.
00:33:49 Why me?
00:33:52 All those people out there wanted to have a premonition or see a ghost or whatever.
00:33:56 I don't.
00:33:57 This one's like existential and reflective.
00:34:00 I like it a lot with the stereotypical ensembles getting killed off.
00:34:06 My head's not like through the windshield or anything.
00:34:08 Yeah, crushed by a steering wheel, impaled by a gear shift.
00:34:11 He's definitely gonna die in this movie.
00:34:14 Just look at the photo, man.
00:34:15 Yeah.
00:34:16 And then make out with her because that's what I want.
00:34:18 I want it to happen.
00:34:19 They're both really good looking.
00:34:20 Yeah, totally.
00:34:21 You got those flywood orders yet?
00:34:23 Uh, it's a big no, Pip.
00:34:24 Osama Bin's supervisor wants me to get rid of these pigeons first.
00:34:28 They keep setting off the alarms.
00:34:29 Wow.
00:34:30 A couple Osama references.
00:34:31 Yeah, I know.
00:34:32 This guy loves referencing Osama.
00:34:34 It's the same guy who references Osama.
00:34:37 We did have a picture of the twin towers too.
00:34:39 Babies?
00:34:40 Yeah.
00:34:40 Oh, that's cruel.
00:34:42 Oh, I can't wait for you to die now.
00:34:48 That's really cruel.
00:34:49 What was in his picture?
00:34:50 Do you remember?
00:34:51 I hope it's something horrible now.
00:34:52 Hi!
00:34:55 It's Wendy and Kevin.
00:34:56 You scared the shit out of me.
00:34:58 Yeah, wait till you hear what we have to tell you.
00:34:59 You were scared before?
00:35:03 Just wait till you talk to us, you'll be even more scared.
00:35:06 Isn't that exciting?
00:35:07 I'm gonna OD on nail polish.
00:35:09 Ian is gonna be embarrassed to death.
00:35:11 What's happened to the others?
00:35:12 I mean, you just saw their pictures.
00:35:13 And that.
00:35:16 What's going on?
00:35:17 That's crazy.
00:35:18 I feel like there's some theme here about like surrendering control or something.
00:35:24 Are you guys saying that death is like a person?
00:35:27 No, it's like, like a force.
00:35:28 There's no goals, no awareness that it is a force.
00:35:32 In fact, in past cases, if the next in line is safe...
00:35:34 What do you think about the kids from the beginning still though?
00:35:36 I guess there's nothing to them.
00:35:38 No, maybe they snuck on somewhere else.
00:35:40 Kevin!
00:35:44 Ian, watch those boxes!
00:35:46 I mean, if you freak the guy out like that, you're gonna get him killed.
00:35:54 Death is just the end of biological function.
00:35:57 It's as simple as that.
00:36:00 I definitely met people like that guy.
00:36:02 Yeah, me too. I was just saying that.
00:36:03 What was the pigeon being shot with?
00:36:05 The nail gun?
00:36:07 Well, that's how he's gonna go.
00:36:11 He was eating French toast when Princess Diana died in Paris,
00:36:14 and then he saw the funeral on TV and now he's dead.
00:36:17 You know what?
00:36:18 I don't want to make this sound crazy, so guess how you two sound.
00:36:21 Wow, Death, you are so clever.
00:36:22 Zip, I'm done. So finish going to Mizzle Over so we can get out of here.
00:36:25 Okay.
00:36:26 What do you think's happening here?
00:36:29 Something with a nail gun, right?
00:36:31 Yeah, I think the nails are gonna get him somehow.
00:36:33 Do you not hear it falling?
00:36:40 They've really amped up the domino effect here.
00:36:44 Like, every death has had a very crazy order of events that led to it.
00:36:51 Maybe it's that they have to die simultaneously if they were sitting next to each other?
00:36:56 Oh, yeah, yeah, maybe. That's a good guess.
00:36:58 Oh, because Purrfect guy was sitting alone.
00:37:00 How do you guys not hear any of this?
00:37:04 I don't know.
00:37:04 Oh, because of that.
00:37:06 What's going on?
00:37:13 Oh, no.
00:37:18 I'm unclear on what, but it can't be good.
00:37:22 I love the staging of these things.
00:37:25 What is the writer's room like?
00:37:27 And then this happens, and then this, and then this, and then they die.
00:37:31 What if the last in line were to make the utilitarian choice kill themselves?
00:37:36 Good question.
00:37:39 That's pretty much going to ruin any plan.
00:37:41 Deaths put in motion, and even better, it's going to save five skipped lives.
00:37:47 But is she capable of doing that?
00:37:49 Because in the last movie, the guy wasn't able to.
00:37:51 Death is always making an entrance.
00:37:55 He's going to shoot her?
00:37:58 Oh, no.
00:38:09 It's brutal.
00:38:15 Oh, she's still breathing.
00:38:20 There's a lot more dread to this.
00:38:22 That was gory.
00:38:24 I guess they don't have to die at the same time.
00:38:26 Do they believe you?
00:38:27 Would you believe me?
00:38:27 No, they looked at me like I was crazy.
00:38:29 For all we know, whoever was sitting behind Erin is already dead.
00:38:32 And we're next.
00:38:33 I think you're right.
00:38:34 I think it's his sister.
00:38:35 Do you think this is going to have any tie-in to the second one?
00:38:38 I mean, they mentioned it briefly, the second one.
00:38:41 When?
00:38:42 When she was first pulling up the photos.
00:38:44 She said this happened on the highway.
00:38:45 What I mean is like referencing the second one, how the second one referenced the first one.
00:38:49 They were all like a byproduct.
00:38:50 They mentioned the logs situation, the highway scene.
00:38:53 No, I get what you're saying.
00:38:55 I'm asking if we think their deaths are impacted by the second movie's deaths,
00:38:58 the way the second movie's deaths were impacted by the first movie's deaths.
00:39:01 They were showing like the highway sequence in the second movie.
00:39:04 Yeah, no, I don't think they're going to do that.
00:39:08 You don't?
00:39:09 No.
00:39:09 I think it's how she's going to find out her sister's dead.
00:39:20 You think somehow the brace is going to lead to her death?
00:39:23 No, I think it's going to be left over.
00:39:25 She knows it was her sister who died because the rest of her body is so mangled.
00:39:28 But she sees the bracelet.
00:39:29 All right, all right.
00:39:30 I'm not sure.
00:39:31 I like your guesses.
00:39:32 I like where you're at.
00:39:33 I like the way you think.
00:39:34 Does she see the bracelet?
00:39:41 Yeah, man.
00:39:43 It's the bracelet.
00:39:44 Ah, dude.
00:39:46 Hey, you did good.
00:39:47 You're doing good this thing.
00:39:48 You're getting a lot of guesses right.
00:39:50 I don't know.
00:39:50 I'm kind of a genius.
00:39:52 Yeah, kind of.
00:39:54 Did we know he did that?
00:40:06 No.
00:40:06 Up.
00:40:21 Here we go.
00:40:22 Did you ever have to do the Rube Goldberg projects in school?
00:40:30 No, I wasn't as talented as you.
00:40:32 You'd set like a domino and it would hit to a string and the string would go to whatever.
00:40:36 Like all the--
00:40:37 Yeah, yeah.
00:40:38 This is that.
00:40:38 This is all how death operates.
00:40:41 What was in Julie's picture other than her bracelet?
00:40:51 A hand.
00:40:52 Right.
00:40:56 Sweet.
00:40:57 You guys are tools.
00:40:58 Get lost.
00:40:59 Mary and Pippin.
00:41:00 Jesus Christ.
00:41:08 Maybe Julie lent her bracelet to a friend.
00:41:14 I don't know.
00:41:14 Middle finger.
00:41:16 Horse.
00:41:17 Damn.
00:41:17 Bummer.
00:41:25 It's not over.
00:41:31 It's not over.
00:41:31 Ouch.
00:41:36 Good stunt work.
00:41:37 Yeah, cut that string.
00:41:38 Is that a real sword?
00:41:39 Yeah.
00:41:40 Oh my god.
00:41:44 Oh, I love him.
00:41:49 I know. He's about to die.
00:41:50 Julie, you have to tell me.
00:41:51 You have to listen.
00:41:52 Tell me who is sitting next to you on the roller coaster.
00:41:54 Julie, are you all right?
00:41:55 Who is sitting next to you on the roller coaster?
00:41:58 I know. The horse is about to kill one of her friends.
00:42:01 Nobody.
00:42:02 There's nobody sitting next to her?
00:42:05 No, she's about to get fucking--
00:42:06 Asian girl.
00:42:07 Oh.
00:42:08 Put it together.
00:42:15 Kevin, yeah. Go get Kevin.
00:42:17 Put it together.
00:42:18 Oh, that kick alone would have killed him.
00:42:23 She pulled him out?
00:42:27 Yeah.
00:42:28 I know, but now it's her.
00:42:29 Something McKinley.
00:42:31 Let's say that horse kick alone would have killed him.
00:42:33 Oh, it is about McKinley.
00:42:34 It's about the guy.
00:42:35 He's McKinley.
00:42:38 His name's McKinley.
00:42:39 Oh, it is? Okay.
00:42:40 Early on, he's had--
00:42:43 I can't believe my name's the same name as the high school.
00:42:45 Oh, yeah. That's right.
00:42:46 Get the fuck out of here, McKinley.
00:42:49 Hey, I'm just celebrating our town's tricentennial.
00:42:52 Oh, that's right, because he believes to kill her and stop this whole thing.
00:42:55 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:42:56 Just tell me how to start it off.
00:43:00 Let's get this over with.
00:43:02 It skipped me.
00:43:03 For me, it is over.
00:43:05 I'm not dying.
00:43:06 They saved you, man.
00:43:08 Now, if it skips her, it goes back to him, right?
00:43:13 Oh, this fool's gonna think he's an immortal.
00:43:17 If it skips her--
00:43:18 Yeah, it will go right back around.
00:43:20 It's you, Wendy! You're dead!
00:43:22 Whoa.
00:43:30 They didn't see the movies we saw, so they don't know that it circles back.
00:43:33 They don't know the rules.
00:43:34 Oh, damn. The sending's a little bit more akin to the first one.
00:43:39 Blurry face.
00:43:50 What does blurry face mean?
00:43:52 That's what was next to her, and then this was just blurry.
00:43:54 180.
00:43:58 This could be the first time our lead character dies to close out the movie.
00:44:02 I don't think so, but it could be.
00:44:04 This is Booth Street.
00:44:06 Next stop is Osborne.
00:44:08 End of the line.
00:44:09 Next stop is the end of the line.
00:44:12 This is him?
00:44:13 You hear it?
00:44:14 That's Tony Todd?
00:44:15 What is going to be the domino effect with this candy bar?
00:44:26 This is it.
00:44:28 Yo, yo, coming through.
00:44:29 Oh, she's gonna get off and they don't?
00:44:32 That's gonna be pro-
00:44:33 Oh, her sister? No, it's her sister.
00:44:35 I knew it.
00:44:36 Didn't I say that?
00:44:37 Damn, you are- you're nailing this one, dude.
00:44:39 Thank you so much.
00:44:40 You really are.
00:44:40 Finally getting credit where credit is due.
00:44:43 Ian was gonna cause your death.
00:44:44 You intervened and it skipped us.
00:44:45 Why does death wait so long?
00:44:52 Five months.
00:44:53 To make them feel comfortable.
00:44:54 Hey guys, this is Julie.
00:44:55 He's on the train.
00:45:00 Damn it.
00:45:01 Oh goodness.
00:45:02 Claim what's yours, death.
00:45:10 How many of them are gonna make it?
00:45:11 One, two, or three?
00:45:13 None.
00:45:13 None?
00:45:14 None.
00:45:14 Claim death.
00:45:17 Yeah, I think this might be the first time they all die.
00:45:19 Julie, stay down!
00:45:20 Julie!
00:45:23 Julie's definitely-
00:45:24 Ooh, claim.
00:45:25 Or is this another vision?
00:45:29 Or is this another vision?
00:45:31 Oh Jesus.
00:45:35 Oh damn, I guess it's just really happening.
00:45:42 I was wondering if it was another like premonition.
00:45:44 That would have been wild because then they would have had to-
00:45:46 Do this all over again.
00:45:47 Yeah.
00:45:48 Oh.
00:45:54 Is she the only survivor?
00:45:56 But everybody you love is dead.
00:45:58 What a train.
00:46:02 It was a vision!
00:46:10 You okay?
00:46:13 Something wrong?
00:46:15 They don't have time to get off though.
00:46:17 Yeah, what do you do?
00:46:18 We gotta get out!
00:46:19 It's not working!
00:46:21 They're gonna just end it, yeah.
00:46:24 Ooh, spooky.
00:46:26 Spooky.
00:46:27 I got nipple chills with that ending there.
00:46:32 Yeah, that was wild.
00:46:33 Ooh, I got like actual goosebumps everywhere.
00:46:35 I have to have to know Ryan Merriman.
00:46:40 That's the first thing we're gonna take care of.
00:46:42 Okay, no, but it wasn't him that was the guy that was in the other movie.
00:46:46 I need to do my due diligence right now.
00:46:50 You talk about the movie, I have to do my due diligence.
00:46:52 You're gonna- okay.
00:46:53 Well, because for two reasons.
00:46:55 Number one, what's the newspaper movie?
00:46:57 And number two-
00:46:58 Devil's Voice was Tony Todd.
00:47:00 Oh yeah, good catch.
00:47:01 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:47:02 Really good catch.
00:47:04 We gotta get our Tony in there.
00:47:05 Um, well-
00:47:08 What's your um?
00:47:09 My um is-
00:47:10 Did you love it?
00:47:10 I like that one a lot.
00:47:13 Most?
00:47:13 It might be-
00:47:16 Okay, again, there are things about the other ones I preferred.
00:47:21 So you- all of them are kind of even because of that?
00:47:25 I think that this one is the better-
00:47:30 Okay, all right.
00:47:35 Before I get the comparisons out of the way.
00:47:37 I really liked Mary Elizabeth Winstead a lot.
00:47:40 I love the main guy.
00:47:42 And I thought this one did the things that I was wanting it to actually do when you asked.
00:47:46 But I didn't think they would just because I was like, "Ah, we're in sequel territory now."
00:47:50 Where they rung a lot of tension.
00:47:52 It was more reflective in between scenes.
00:47:56 Like there was actual tension when there wasn't scary stuff happening.
00:48:00 And the two main characters, at least, I thought were a markedly better improvement
00:48:08 than the prior film.
00:48:10 The first one is probably still the best movie to me.
00:48:15 But I loved the look of this film a lot.
00:48:18 I thought this film looked great.
00:48:20 I was more connected with the couple main characters though.
00:48:24 I was too.
00:48:25 But not necessarily in the first one, but then the second one.
00:48:29 Yes.
00:48:29 Ryan Merriman was the guy in "Luck of the Irish" and "Smart House."
00:48:35 He did the D-coms.
00:48:36 That's why I know him.
00:48:37 What movie did- was there a newspaper that you watched?
00:48:41 I gotta find that.
00:48:42 But did you not see any of those D-coms?
00:48:44 No.
00:48:44 What's a D-com?
00:48:46 Disney Channel original movie.
00:48:48 Oh, I didn't have Disney Channel growing up.
00:48:49 That was- like none of those "Cheetah Sisters" or like "High School Musical."
00:48:54 I didn't have Disney Channel.
00:48:55 That was past my time.
00:48:56 But okay, well, they were big.
00:48:57 I remember watching it.
00:49:00 That's where I was like, "Oh, that younger thing."
00:49:02 Okay, so that was that.
00:49:04 And this other guy, Jesse Moss.
00:49:06 Let's see.
00:49:06 Oh, "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil."
00:49:09 He's the bad guy in "Tucker and Dale vs."
00:49:13 Yes!
00:49:13 That's a comedy.
00:49:16 You called it a horror film.
00:49:17 I was like, "What horror movie are you talking about?"
00:49:19 It's a horror comedy.
00:49:20 Yeah, I guess.
00:49:22 I'm not sure.
00:49:23 Yeah.
00:49:24 I couldn't remember the name of it.
00:49:26 Yes.
00:49:26 But I was right.
00:49:28 Yeah, you were.
00:49:28 He was the bad guy.
00:49:29 I just couldn't get there, but I was there.
00:49:32 And I remember I was like, "He's either played a really nice guy or a douchebag."
00:49:35 No, I told you I could be played a dick.
00:49:37 Yeah, he's one of them.
00:49:38 Wow.
00:49:39 Wow.
00:49:40 Okay, I feel so satisfied right now.
00:49:44 That was great.
00:49:45 So, okay.
00:49:46 Oh, I could not pinpoint that.
00:49:48 It was bothering me too.
00:49:49 You made me watch it and it's a newspaper grab.
00:49:52 All you remember was telling me to say he was the bad guy.
00:49:56 I might have been like, "Oh."
00:49:57 I did.
00:49:58 I said he was the dick in the evil movie with the newspaper.
00:50:03 With the newspaper.
00:50:06 You remember the end of the movie?
00:50:07 The newspaper is one of the last things you would think of when it comes to "Tucker and Dale vs."
00:50:12 The newspaper.
00:50:13 That's all I could remember was him.
00:50:15 A billion other iconic moments out of that movie.
00:50:18 That's all I could remember.
00:50:18 All you could pull was the newspaper.
00:50:20 You couldn't even pull him.
00:50:21 I at least pulled newspaper.
00:50:23 Oh, geez.
00:50:23 This is what happens to me where I can't remember.
00:50:26 I remember weird moments in movies.
00:50:28 I just have always been like, there's that weird one line or moment that for some reason stuck with
00:50:33 me. I just remember him presenting the newspaper and us knowing his parents were the dad was the
00:50:39 one that was the murderer.
00:50:40 Yeah.
00:50:42 That's all I remember.
00:50:42 I forgot about that.
00:50:43 That's the newspaper. The newspaper tells us.
00:50:46 Yeah, okay.
00:50:46 That's how I knew him.
00:50:48 That's how you know him.
00:50:49 Oh, and you had questions about the sister, right?
00:50:53 Yeah, yeah.
00:50:53 Okay, so let's check it out.
00:50:57 Check it.
00:50:58 She was named Julie.
00:51:02 So she should be, okay.
00:51:03 Amanda Crew is her name.
00:51:05 No, I didn't. No, I was thinking she was Shannon.
00:51:07 She was in "Sex Drive."
00:51:10 She was in "The Haunting."
00:51:12 She was in "Age of Adeline."
00:51:14 Yep, never seen any of those.
00:51:15 All right.
00:51:17 No, no.
00:51:18 Good talk.
00:51:18 That answers that.
00:51:19 I still feel the first movie had the best ensemble overall, but I prefer the lead characters here,
00:51:28 if that makes sense.
00:51:29 Like you isolate the lead characters and the relationship, how that all formed.
00:51:32 I was more connected to that.
00:51:34 The first movie and I bought more of the drama this time around.
00:51:39 Whereas I was finding myself taking some of the drama seriously and some of the conversation
00:51:45 scenes seriously.
00:51:47 Whereas in the first and second movie, they're kind of like cheesy fun instead of me actually
00:51:53 taking them serious.
00:51:54 What I thought this movie was actually missing a little bit of though was it did kind of
00:52:03 lose some fun.
00:52:04 I was never bored.
00:52:08 I was never not entertained, but it did take itself really serious to the point where I
00:52:14 could have used just a tiny, like sprinkles of some of that energy from the second one.
00:52:19 I see what you're saying, but I didn't feel that way.
00:52:23 I think that this kind of was a perfect combination of one and two.
00:52:26 It's probably my favorite one.
00:52:28 Yeah, it might be mine too.
00:52:29 Honestly, because as I'm thinking about the ensemble, I actually maybe preferred the ensemble
00:52:34 most in this.
00:52:36 I thought that there was really good chemistry here and that it is a little, their characters
00:52:42 across the franchise are very typical.
00:52:44 I know that the internet gets annoyed with me when I say this, but I'm just going to
00:52:49 do it anyway because it's what I think a lot of times like angry woman or like dumb bimbo
00:52:54 or whatever, even with like the black guy who doesn't believe what's happening.
00:52:59 And like they, it seems like they have their archetypes and they kind of stick to it movie
00:53:04 after movie, which I think hopefully in the fourth and fifth one, we hear the fourth one's
00:53:09 on their grade, but the fifth one's supposed to be great.
00:53:12 Hopefully they kind of like shake that up because I would love to see not the like boyfriend
00:53:18 who is the nice one and the girlfriend who's super angry all the time, whatever it is.
00:53:24 I feel like we kind of are hitting the same character types, but the chemistry in this
00:53:29 one I really liked and the combo of the, our two main leads being maybe two of the more
00:53:37 recognizable, like in this movie, compared to the other ones, they're very good actors.
00:53:43 They did a really good job in this.
00:53:45 Yeah, just, I liked this.
00:53:47 I liked, I liked the opening of this.
00:53:49 I like that they very quickly again, know they referenced the other movie so they know
00:53:56 what's happening.
00:53:57 We don't have to spend a whole hour figuring out like, why are we, is everybody dying?
00:54:01 You know, once the franchise decided that they weren't going to do that, I'm, I think
00:54:05 that was a really smart choice.
00:54:07 Yeah.
00:54:08 I thought, I think this one is not as like the second one's more chaotic.
00:54:13 Like it's a little bit more metal, the second one, you know, with the, with the lottery
00:54:18 winner death, the highway sequence, the dentist scene, that one actually is, I think, I think
00:54:25 the second one's more violent too.
00:54:26 Yeah, definitely.
00:54:28 There was more gore in that one for sure.
00:54:31 Yeah.
00:54:31 And this one, it's gory, but it's definitely not as exploitive gore as I thought they would
00:54:40 go.
00:54:41 I thought like, oh, we're doing a part three.
00:54:42 We're going to go even crazier with the gore.
00:54:44 The head one though.
00:54:44 The head one's pretty gross.
00:54:46 You know what's weird?
00:54:47 But the third, but the second one's like borderline a Saw movie, you know, with, with the way
00:54:51 some of those deaths go down in the hands.
00:54:53 I feel like I, I've liked them more every one then.
00:54:56 So I, one, I really liked then two, I liked it slightly more.
00:55:01 And three, I think is my favorite.
00:55:02 Yeah.
00:55:03 That doesn't happen often.
00:55:04 Especially with a horror franchise.
00:55:05 Yeah.
00:55:05 That's cool.
00:55:07 That's cool.
00:55:08 That's cool man.
00:55:10 That's cool.
00:55:11 Final destination.
00:55:12 Y'all did it.
00:55:14 I can't believe that you got highway to hell and I got rollercoaster of love.
00:55:18 What's the.
00:55:20 Let's see the thumbnail of the fourth one.
00:55:22 Yeah.
00:55:23 And see if we can predict what song it would be.
00:55:27 What is the death?
00:55:28 If you have to pick one death from this that stands out to you, what is it?
00:55:31 From not the franchise from this movie?
00:55:33 Uh, hold on.
00:55:36 Which one's the fourth one?
00:55:37 Is it.
00:55:40 Remember they called it the final destination.
00:55:43 Oh God, there's one.
00:55:43 There's one.
00:55:43 It's called Final Destination 5.
00:55:45 Oh, that gives me nothing on this poster.
00:55:47 Oh, I don't want to find out.
00:55:49 I think we should.
00:55:50 Well, glass.
00:55:52 Yeah, but it could just be like a generic.
00:55:54 It could be Heart of Glass.
00:55:55 Yeah, that's actually not a good call.
00:55:58 Let's see.
00:56:00 What's the death that stands out to you?
00:56:02 The death that stood out to me the most here.
00:56:05 I mean, the one I'll probably remember the most is the, is the tanning booth one.
00:56:11 That's the one that stands out to me the most too.
00:56:13 But that's the one where they were, they were really drawing like everyone else's death.
00:56:18 Correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone else's death is like.
00:56:21 Domino effect, domino effect, they're dead.
00:56:24 Whereas that one was like suffering, you know, and I think that's, that's, that's what the
00:56:30 second one, why I say that's borderline saw is because there's, there was a lot more suffrage
00:56:34 that was happening with characters, you know?
00:56:37 Yeah.
00:56:37 And, and this one didn't really do that.
00:56:40 It was kind of like watch death do domino effect.
00:56:43 What did you call it?
00:56:43 What was the thing you said?
00:56:44 Rube Goldberg.
00:56:46 Rube Goldberg.
00:56:46 Yeah, there's Rube Goldberg.
00:56:48 And then, and then they just die.
00:56:50 And there's some like disturbing imagery, but I do think the, the characters, yeah,
00:56:55 they have like the ones that are super, like the two girls in the tanning booth are like
00:56:58 beyond stereotypical.
00:57:00 But they're still fun.
00:57:02 They're fun characters, especially for the time period.
00:57:05 It was very common like that.
00:57:07 And I thought, yeah, they were, it didn't bother me.
00:57:10 It was just like, okay, we get it.
00:57:12 And I believe the, the, who was it?
00:57:14 McClunkey?
00:57:15 McKinley.
00:57:15 McKinley.
00:57:16 Yeah.
00:57:16 McKinley.
00:57:17 His, his ponderings that he would express, I believed him like that.
00:57:24 He seemed like a, he weirdly seemed like a real character to me instead of let's give
00:57:29 this guy dialogue to, to reflect some of the themes of the movie.
00:57:34 You know, it actually seemed like, yeah, I believe this guy.
00:57:37 I felt that way too.
00:57:38 Especially when he's like, you know, death is what happens when the energy is the way,
00:57:42 like all this stuff.
00:57:43 I was like, oh, I knew so many of you in high school.
00:57:46 There, you guys were like a whole group of
00:57:47 pretentious.
00:57:50 Yeah, whatever that was.
00:57:54 But yeah, I thought that was really good.
00:57:57 Yeah.
00:57:57 That that was really effing good.
00:57:59 This franchise is so solid.
00:58:01 What a bummer that we're here.
00:58:02 The fourth one isn't great.
00:58:04 I'm excited to see it anyway, because I'm sure there are good moments, but like.
00:58:06 What if we walk away saying it's okay?
00:58:08 What if we're like, that's the best one?
00:58:12 Then death might come get us.
00:58:14 Honestly, they're like, no, you don't deserve it.
00:58:16 But so far this, I mean, this whole franchise is excellent.
00:58:21 It's been really fun.
00:58:22 And I feel like this is the one we took the most serious.
00:58:24 Like, I feel like we kind of take the piss out of them a little bit more.
00:58:27 But this one, we were like, I'm taking this seriously, which is a good sign, actually.
00:58:32 Who's your favorite character in this?
00:58:34 In this one?
00:58:34 Yeah.
00:58:34 I really like Mary.
00:58:38 I mean, I felt like Mary Elizabeth Winsett actually had an arc because she's very timid
00:58:41 and she's closed off and then by the end, she's got like a set of friends now.
00:58:46 And she seems like she's, you could see physically her transformation that she has
00:58:49 grown into someone more confident and that she has gone through the grieving process.
00:58:53 Even before she dies.
00:58:54 Yeah, before she dies or death is like, go fuck yourself.
00:58:58 Which I really love.
00:58:58 I love the way how they do kill off everyone in the end.
00:59:02 But I guess there's just no way to really, I don't, I still don't get how,
00:59:06 can someone clarify that for me?
00:59:07 If you made it this far, how did the characters in the second one defeat death?
00:59:11 But these guys did it.
00:59:13 I don't keep looping back, looping back.
00:59:15 But that didn't happen with the characters in the second one.
00:59:17 It did.
00:59:18 They know it's, remember it moved on to the little boy then?
00:59:23 I don't think it moved on to them.
00:59:24 I think it's hitting them simultaneously.
00:59:26 I am assuming they're going to looping back to them.
00:59:28 And same with the characters in the first one.
00:59:30 The little boy had nothing to do.
00:59:32 What do you think death is?
00:59:33 Because there's death.
00:59:34 I feel like there's got to be like multiple reapers because, you know, people are 150,000
00:59:39 people are dying every day, like they said here, at least in this world of Final Destination,
00:59:42 150,000 people die every day.
00:59:44 So there's got to be like one reaper's assignment per case on something like this.
00:59:48 Who just has to, you know what I mean?
00:59:50 Because it's more of like a god scenario where they're overseeing a lot at once.
00:59:55 You think there's one reaper who's seeing all?
00:59:58 I don't really think it's a reaper.
01:00:00 I think death.
01:00:01 Death.
01:00:02 Is seeing.
01:00:02 Oh, you mean like an omnipresent thing?
01:00:04 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:00:04 Okay.
01:00:06 And in the order and there's like clusters.
01:00:08 Okay, yeah, I imagine it kind of like a citadel of like death employees and like someone's
01:00:13 trying to make a good impression.
01:00:15 Yeah.
01:00:15 So in the first one, none of them are still left anymore because the only survivor, the
01:00:20 two survivors we found out one of them died and one of them moved on to the next one.
01:00:24 Yeah.
01:00:25 In the next one, the two people lived, right?
01:00:29 Yes.
01:00:29 And then this one, we're assuming she got smushed by the train.
01:00:33 Oh, they all died.
01:00:34 Yeah, for sure.
01:00:35 So I wonder if we're going to get any of the two from two and four or five.
01:00:40 Maybe, maybe David Devens actually is alive.
01:00:44 I feel like they should bring Tony.
01:00:44 I keep telling you that's how I kept feeling.
01:00:46 I mean, you got a lot right this time, so I'm going to lead.
01:00:49 I'm going to go with the fact that I think you might be right, but I could be wrong.
01:00:53 I do love the ending here of how she has the premonition again and death is just like go
01:00:58 to hell.
01:00:59 Because we think the way that the premonition works this time.
01:01:01 I'm like, oh, they killed them all.
01:01:02 And I'm like, oh, they didn't.
01:01:04 So I think we're in the clear.
01:01:05 I think we're going to stop it.
01:01:06 And then they're like, ha, sucker.
01:01:08 I look, I think the second movie's highway sequence is masterfully executed.
01:01:16 I do.
01:01:16 I think though, but that one is just so crazy.
01:01:21 This one felt like this could really happen.
01:01:26 Like that what happens here on the roller coaster, that is a fear of mine.
01:01:29 And you've seen news reports where, yeah, they are just stuck upside down.
01:01:34 Like it's happened to people and some terrible tragedies that happened on roller coasters
01:01:38 before.
01:01:39 Yes, on planes and highways as well.
01:01:41 But there was something about this one that other than like he happens to grab the dude
01:01:46 when he grabs the, I forget the black jock's name, whatever his name is.
01:01:50 He grabs that guy.
01:01:52 Other than that, everything else was like, this seems very real.
01:01:55 And there was such a tension to it.
01:01:58 The highway one was like crazy and fun.
01:02:00 This one was like, this is truly scary what's happening right now.
01:02:05 That was actually like the highway one wasn't scary to me.
01:02:08 The highway one was really fun.
01:02:10 This one was, I am literally like scared of what's happening.
01:02:15 The reason I think I liked this opening the best is because we see car accidents in movies
01:02:22 all the time, even though this was on a grander scale.
01:02:24 And we do a lot on the road, like even with.
01:02:27 Yeah, yeah, sure.
01:02:27 You know, just franchise movies, just even this year, right?
01:02:30 There's like a lot of car chases, a lot of car accidents, just so much car stuff.
01:02:35 Same thing with plane crashes.
01:02:37 We do see a decent amount of it, even with like Lost and Yellow Jackets.
01:02:42 And of course, in movies, too, or like you think the plane's going down.
01:02:47 I can't recall seeing in a movie a big roller coaster accident.
01:02:53 Yeah, and I think that's I think the roller coast to make Mary Elizabeth Winsett's character
01:02:59 so much about someone who has this fear and this sense of this need to control when you
01:03:06 put them in a situation where you have no control.
01:03:10 Like there's some semblance of you can at least move around on a plane.
01:03:14 Or you drive in the car.
01:03:15 But on a roller coaster, you are locked in and trapped in a situation like that.
01:03:20 So I love thematically to line up her character with that as well.
01:03:25 I just think this one's shot the best, too.
01:03:27 I think out of all three of them, this one looks the best of them all.
01:03:30 It felt like it had a bigger budget.
01:03:33 Yeah, yeah.
01:03:33 Cinematography-wise.
01:03:35 I wonder if it was the same cinematographer, actually, or if they went with somebody new.
01:03:40 Well, James Wong directed the first one, and then he came back for this one.
01:03:44 So did they use the same person that they previously?
01:03:47 I felt like he refined his work.
01:03:49 But no, overall, man, I think this is a really-- I really like this one a lot.
01:03:55 I was really impressed with this one.
01:03:56 What's your ranking?
01:03:57 I think right now I would have to go-- it's impossible to beat the freshness of the first
01:04:03 one, right?
01:04:04 It's impossible to beat that.
01:04:05 Ooh, it's Robert McLachlan, who did Game of Thrones, Lovecraft, Connery.
01:04:10 Of this one?
01:04:11 The cinematographer.
01:04:13 Oh, wow.
01:04:14 Did a few episodes of Ray Donovan.
01:04:16 He's done a lot of the shows that we like.
01:04:18 He did 1923.
01:04:19 Oh, damn.
01:04:20 He did 1923?
01:04:22 Yeah.
01:04:22 He's DP'd a lot of Great West World.
01:04:28 Oh, sweet.
01:04:29 Interesting.
01:04:30 Interesting.
01:04:32 OK.
01:04:34 Sorry, you were in the middle of talking when I interrupted you to do that.
01:04:37 No, you interrupted me with important information.
01:04:40 With the facts.
01:04:41 Nothing but the facts.
01:04:43 Facts.
01:04:44 But we got to get you out of here.
01:04:45 Yeah, OK.
01:04:45 Because you got to go to your ground.
01:04:47 All right, so then let's give a special shout out.
01:04:50 Well, I mean, we should wrap up.
01:04:52 All right.
01:04:52 A little bit more, too.
01:04:54 OK.
01:04:54 All right, let me say the stuff.
01:04:59 Leave a like, comment, make sure you're subscribed.
01:05:04 Be here for our next one.
01:05:05 Hopefully, if you guys like this video, we continue watching the franchise.
01:05:08 And make sure that you make it safely to your final destination of heaven.
01:05:15 One day, not today.
01:05:16 Hopefully a long time from now.
01:05:20 OK, bye.
01:05:23 And the shout out?
01:05:26 And oh yeah, and a shout out.
01:05:27 What's going on?
01:05:28 To who?
01:05:29 I think we should do Daniel Gallagher.
01:05:32 But I liked what you did before, where you did this Boston acronym thing.
01:05:37 Oh, OK, cool.
01:05:38 So I think you should, I think you should give it a try.
01:05:40 Ooh, Daniel Gallagher.
01:05:42 Sounds like an Irish guy from Boston.
01:05:43 Fucking Daniel Gallagher, dude.
01:05:46 All right, Daniel, here.
01:05:47 What do we got?
01:05:48 D is for.
01:05:49 D is for.
01:05:52 Donkeys.
01:05:55 You got America runs on Duncan, you know.
01:05:58 A is for.
01:06:00 Angels in the outfield, which is baseball, which Red Sox we got there.
01:06:08 M is for Newton is where I'm from.
01:06:13 I did that last time, but, you know, sometimes you just got to go back to it.
01:06:16 I is for icy is so cold there in the winter.
01:06:21 It's just ice on the ground.
01:06:22 You got to make sure you have your salt to put it on the ice.
01:06:25 E is for England's comma new because it's in New England because that's where Boston is.
01:06:35 And the L is for let's fucking go.
01:06:42 Daniel Gallagher.
01:06:43 There we go.
01:06:45 Thanks for being a patron.
01:06:46 Honestly, you are the sexiest of the rejects.
01:06:51 And that's the title that you earned today.
01:06:54 How'd we do?
01:06:55 I think there was no way it was all you.
01:06:59 Thank you.
01:06:59 Oh, good.
01:07:01 OK, we'll see you guys next time for Final Destination four.
01:07:06 Yeah, might as well.
01:07:06 I also find out how terrible it is.
01:07:09 I'm nervous about that one.
01:07:10 I think we have the lowest expectations.
01:07:13 Yeah, so it could be good.
01:07:14 It's a means to an end.
01:07:15 The fifth one's supposed to be good.
01:07:17 OK, yeah.
01:07:18 So this one, some people say it's the best.
01:07:19 And we'll cover that in like four weeks when you're back from Boston.
01:07:22 Sorry.
01:07:24 OK, bye.
