00:03 after beating the visitors,

00:04 Nickel State by a score of 41 to six.

00:06 It was a great rebound game for the Frogs

00:08 who'd lost an incredibly disappointing game

00:10 to open up their season against Colorado last weekend.

00:13 Sonny Dyches was definitely impressed

00:15 with how the team bounced back

00:16 and here's what he had to say about the team's energy.

00:19 - I would say it was better.

00:21 You know, I would say it's still far from what we need,

00:25 but it was better.

00:29 Thought we played with some excitement today.

00:31 I mean, there was some times, especially defensively,

00:34 where the guys were excited.

00:36 You know, we played with some enthusiasm.

00:40 I thought we played, you know, we played more physical.

00:43 You know, we started hitting.

00:45 That's one thing that we have done, you know,

00:49 this happened around here for a long time.

00:52 Really, last year as well, we played physical.

00:56 We didn't really play very physical last week.

00:58 And so, thought we improved that way this week.

01:03 - Despite putting up 41 points

01:05 against Nickel State here tonight,

01:06 the TCU Horned Frogs still left some points off the board

01:09 as they committed yet their third red zone turnover

01:12 of the season.

01:13 Now, we spoke with Chandler Morris following today's game

01:16 and he said that it's gonna be a point of emphasis

01:18 to have better red zone efficiency.

01:21 - We need to do better finishing drives, obviously.

01:23 That's gonna be a huge emphasis this week.

01:26 I mean, last week we struggled with it as well.

01:29 We gotta eliminate turnovers in the red zone as well.

01:33 But I thought we did some really good things.

01:35 Just gotta do better and finish off drives.

01:39 - While tonight's win does wonders for the team's morale,

01:42 the TCU Horned Frogs will look to continue

01:44 their winning ways when they go down to Houston

01:47 to open up Big 12 Conference play.
