Opus Avantra's second album is structured as a concept album where the theme developed concerns the seven deadly sins (in order: pride, greed, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, sloth) with the addictoion of an eighth autobiographical vice (my vice) in search of a solution to the irreconcilable opposites (good and evil, light and shadows, avant-garde and tradition). In "Lord Cromwell.." Opus Avantra distances them selves from the synthetic proposal of their debut album, directing less decisively towards the territories of avant-garde and classical. A fascinating work where avant-garde and traditional music seem to follow two separete paths.
