00:02 - Where are you looking for your favorite total
00:04 of Thursday night football?
00:06 - I'm looking towards a total of under 45 and a half.
00:09 And typically it's tough to get going.
00:11 And usually when you have that full seven games,
00:13 you get a better, you know, feel
00:14 for who's going to be playing in the game
00:16 because Thursdays are so hard to turn around from Sundays,
00:18 but also you get the game plan in there,
00:20 the extra time spent on video
00:22 to break down your opponent here,
00:23 to get ready and find those intricacies
00:25 that you can take advantage of.
00:26 That certainly is going to be tougher to do
00:28 when you're playing on a Thursday,
00:29 as opposed to a Sunday.
00:30 Also take a look at the pathway to victory
00:32 for both of these teams.
00:33 Maybe running the football much, much more.
00:35 And if Montgomery is going to play,
00:36 you know he's going to be burning
00:38 and churning some of those yards,
00:39 which means the clock as well.
00:40 And if you take a look at Aaron Jones,
00:42 more apt now to use your running game here,
00:44 as opposed to throwing the football
00:45 with Jordan Love, a quarterback.
00:46 I think this game stays under the 45 and a half wide.
00:49 Number one, it's a Thursday.
00:50 Number two, the division rivals.
00:51 And number three, running backs
00:53 could be healthy in this game.
00:54 - Game total overall, DRS,
00:57 I would lean with you to the under as well.
01:00 I look at the second half over, however,
01:02 that has dropped by a point
01:03 from when I put this in for our graphics producers last night.
01:06 Now 22 and a half is that second half number
01:09 between Detroit and Green Bay.
01:12 The Packers, Donnie, have been the best second half team
01:14 from a scoring offensive perspective all year,
01:17 averaging 20 points per game.
01:20 They've also given up a ton in the second half.
01:23 See the lead they blew in Atlanta week number two,
01:26 up by two scores in the fourth quarter, 24 to 11.
01:30 The Falcons score 14 unanswered to win the game, 25-24.
01:35 If that short week does rear its ugly head early on
01:39 in the first half, I think we see the offense
01:42 pick it up a little bit in the second half.
01:45 Donnie, the last two weeks on Thursday Night Football,
01:47 you've convinced me to be on your side for the total.
01:50 I've faded my own best interest.
01:52 I'm sticking with my gut here
01:54 to go over 22 and a half in the second.
