00:00 Burning Man flooding leaves attendees stranded in the Nevada desert.
00:03 An unusual late summer storm turned Burning Man's week-long concert into a sloppy mess,
00:09 and not the fun kind.
00:10 Tens of thousands of partygoers were stuck in foot-deep mud and with no working toilets
00:15 in the northern Nevada desert.
00:16 Organizers closed the festival to vehicles after one death was reported, but officials
00:21 have provided no further details of the fatality.
00:24 One and only Mark Moran was in attendance.
00:26 Tell us about your Burning Man trip and experience.
00:28 I'm the last person I ever thought would go to Burning Man, Brian.
00:32 And let me tell you, it was something I meant to fly in and fly out, and that did not happen
00:38 to plan.
00:39 I actually had the whole Burning Man experience, which was enlightening to say the least.
00:46 I left with a, there was an elderly woman who took a special interest in me, and she
00:52 pulls me aside and she goes, "Do you think by chance you might be," what was it called,
00:57 "highly functioning autistic?"
01:00 And so for the past few days I have been grappling with potentially I may be in the likes of
01:07 Elon Musk or whatever, so I call my parents.
01:09 I'm like, "Hey guys, I know I'm turning 32 in a few days, and did I ever test positive
01:15 for autism or anything?"
01:17 And they're like, "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
01:19 And I'm like, "All right."
01:21 So they said no.
01:22 My parents said I'm not autistic, highly functioning, but we're all on the spectrum.
01:26 So yeah, it kind of fucked with my head a little bit, but other than that, would I go
01:30 again?
01:31 No.
01:32 No.
01:33 - That wasn't a hard no.
01:34 That was a maybe.
01:35 - I mean, did I find the Origi 10?
01:36 Did I not find the Origi?
01:37 I don't know.
01:38 It's one of these things, it's kind of like, oh, there's the principles, there's blah,
01:44 blah, blah, let's all act like we're good people, but we drive our RV, we emit fossil
01:48 fuels, which are horrible, and leave no trace.
01:51 I mean, I left a lot of zins there.
01:53 - What was the highlight?
01:55 - The highlight was, there was this, I believe he was a homeless man named Blackout, who
02:02 was serving as a bartender, and just ended up vibing with the guy, and then he had a
02:07 stuffed animal that he would bring around with him that had a dildo attached to it,
02:11 and I just thought it was hilarious.
02:13 But I would say probably the overall highlight was some of the activities that were going
02:19 on, a lot of networking that was going on, a lot of physical networking that was going
02:23 on, but it was an interesting experience, to say the least.
02:26 My chakras are aligned.
02:27 - That's it, glad to have you back, and hopefully refreshed, and your perspective has changed.
02:32 - And not.
02:33 - Yeah, you gotta figure that one out.
02:35 - What about the rain?
02:36 - Yeah, what was the rain, how was that?
02:37 Did it just hit you?
02:39 What was your experience?
02:40 - Well, I was on a journey when it hit, and I woke up, and I'm looking at Twitter, 'cause
02:46 naturally that's the first thing I do at Burning Man, and I'm like, there's Ebola, some guy's
02:51 been killed, the CDC, there's hazmat, Biden's been briefed, what, and then I'm walking around,
02:57 it's just a bunch of fucking drugged out hippies, like, it was fine.
03:01 - It was overblowns, huh?
03:02 How does it feel to be part of something where you just see the crazy amount of external
03:06 media pressure around it, and all the narratives that appear, like, that must have been fucking--
03:11 - I like adding to the chaos, too.
03:12 - Yeah, oh yeah, you're perpetuating it.
03:13 - Fake news, baby.
03:14 - It's like, I might have had Ebola, I don't know.
03:15 - Maybe.
03:16 Should I get on a plane?
03:17 I don't know.
03:18 Before we continue, though, don't close out of this video, Brian, take it away.
03:22 - That's it, we still have some Marx latest thoughts on China, our reactions to the infamous
03:27 Delta Diarrhea Plane, thoughts on the newly released Elon Musk biography, and more.
