The Education Ministry (MOE) needs some time to implement special school models for the B40 and hardcore poor groups in the country, said Fadhlina Sidek.

The Education Minister said during an engagement session discussing the direction of the 12 schools situated within three Felda clusters in Pelangai on Tuesday (Oct 3), that MOE will ensure that no children are left out from the national education system, and all plans are meticulously designed to genuinely benefit them.

00:00 I went to several schools and saw how the students of the comprehensive model
00:08 or the special models of the schools
00:11 gave a big impact in the country's education.
00:16 That's why, ladies and gentlemen, when in the list of these papers,
00:21 I see many topics that we can raise as the students after this
00:27 for the special models, special programs or the schools themselves
00:33 to give better access for our children.
00:38 Just to understand, we have K9 and K11 schools,
00:43 we have special schools for the children and the details of these materials
00:48 I think can be taken into account in the context of looking at the B40 segments,
00:55 the special schools. I see how this school teaches and raises
01:04 what we call human dignity.
01:07 Students from 4th and 5th grade are brought to this school
01:14 and given the emphasis on human dignity.
01:19 It's not only about academic, but also about their own beliefs, which I think are extraordinary.
01:26 The beliefs that have been built by these schools for these children.
01:31 What else, when they have certain beliefs, including the likes of other skills.
01:39 So this is why I think this instructional leadership
01:44 needs to be a source of awareness and empowerment in ensuring
01:50 that our schools make efficient and effective decisions for the girls.
01:57 Are you still with me?
01:58 Yes!
02:00 Thank you.
