2 cups Multigrain Flour
1 tbsp Oil
½ tsp Salt
Water
½ tsp Coriander & Cumin Seed Powder
A pinch of Turmeric Powder
¼ tsp Garam Masala Powder

½ tsp Chaat Masala Powder
1 tsp Fennel Seed Powder
¼ tsp Raw Mango Powder
¼ tsp Salt
Oil
Flour

00:00 Full of nutrition and flavour, this Satpadi Roti
00:03 adds a unique twist to our normal Rotis.
00:05 So let's see the recipe.
00:07 Satpadi means 7 layers or 7 par of the Roti.
00:12 And I'm going to be using Multigrain flour for this.
00:15 Of course you can only use Wheat flour as well.
00:17 So I have about 2 cups of Multigrain flour here.
00:21 Into this I'm going to add in 1 tbsp Oil.
00:25 1/2 a tsp of Salt.
00:27 Mix all these ingredients properly.
00:30 Add in water and prepare a soft dough.
00:33 Knead the dough nicely.
00:40 A nice soft dough is ready.
00:43 Apply a little bit of water over it.
00:47 And let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
00:51 Next I'm going to mix a few spice powders
00:54 to make a masala for the Satpadi Paratha.
00:56 So I have here 1/2 a tsp of Coriander and Cumin Seed Powder.
01:01 Just a pinch of Turmeric Powder.
01:05 1/4 tsp of Garam Masala Powder.
01:08 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
01:11 1/2 a tsp of Chaat Masala Powder.
01:13 1 tsp of Fennel Seed Powder.
01:17 1/4 tsp of Amchur Powder.
01:20 1/4 tsp of Salt.
01:23 Give all these spices a good mix.
01:27 Once again, knead the dough slightly.
01:30 Take a nice big ball of the dough.
01:37 Take some dry flour to roll the Roti.
01:53 Make a nice big size Roti.
01:56 And now spread a little bit of Oil or Ghee.
02:00 Generously sprinkle the Masala mix.
02:10 Also sprinkle some dry flour.
02:16 Since this is a Satpadi Roti,
02:19 you will have to make a minimum of 7-8 Roti.
02:23 So make a minimum of 7 pleats or more.
02:26 Brush a little bit of Oil over the pleats.
02:34 Just flip it sideways.
02:36 And roll.
02:38 And fold.
02:41 Press it.
02:44 Apply some more dry flour.
02:48 And you have to roll on the side where you seal the edge.
02:53 So flip it over and start rolling this.
02:56 This Roti is rolled and ready.
03:04 Let's cook it on both the sides on a hot pan.
03:11 Flip it.
03:13 Cook it on the other side as well.
03:18 And now, instead of cooking the entire Paratha on the pan,
03:25 I like to cook it a little bit on the flame as well.
03:28 Generously apply Ghee or Butter as per your liking.
03:35 The perfect combination with this Satpadi Roti
03:43 is to have it with Gatte Ki Sabzi.
