Emergency Radio

Now here is a funky example of heterarchic artworking in realtime: Tom Chant [soprano sax] of Cinematic Orchestra fame and Steve Beresford [electronics, etc.] together with painter Marcus Heesch, who tries handling the extremely vital input via eggtempera... live and interdisciplinary at THE BONNINGTON in London on 18th of August 2003, filmed by Chikae Tomiyama and by Roger H. Parry, presented in TwinVision. Don't get it wrong: it's not funk, but it's definitively funky! At the end of the video you can hear demands from the audience for "one more painting", which finally inspiried the 12"-version of realtime paintings: 21inch.
