1993 adverts - Comics (TV thriller) (Part 1)

Adverts before and during the 1st episode of the TV thriller Comics, broadcast June 6th 1993. There are four ad breaks, and before the commercials in the thriller it stars with the famous Philadelphia spread adverts that starred Ann Bryson and Sara Crowe (which has Bryson on holiday ringing up Crowe and asking her to describe her eating Philadelphia spread), it then features TV ads for the upcoming last ever episodes of sitcom Cheers, and a TV programme called Angel starring Stephen Rea. Afterwards the breaks are as follows:
1st break: Vauxhall's Cavalier Colorado car; American Express (Traveller's Chequers - Desperate Holidaymaker); Bradford & Bingley Building Society; L'oreal's Casting colourant; Norwich Union (Healthcare insurance); and Tizer (Granny stand in).
2nd break: Fiat Cinquecento car (I don't know why I love you, but I do); Fujicolor photofilm; Budweiser beer; and Sainsbury's (Denis Healy makes Smoked Salmon).
3rd break: Renault Espace car; McCoy's crisps; Wrigley's Spearmint gum (Coach romance); Barclaycard's Rowan Atkinson's Jonny English (Embassador's Party) and Heineken Beer (Blues singer offered music contract).
4th break: Milk (Milkman & dancing bottles); Dulex Flexicover ceiling paint; Volkswagen car (Shift work couple - Nicholas Pritchard); Ex'cla.ma'tion Scent; Hellman's Mayonaise (Prawns); Natrel Plus body spray (Naked painted couple in forest); Pepsi and Milk ad.
