00:30 Okay, so what makes a Carrera T?
00:39 All right, so you take the base 911, $90,000,
00:43 and you add almost $13,000 to the price,
00:45 but you don't give it any more power.
00:47 You lower the ride height by 10 millimeters
00:50 and it's a different suspension, much, much sportier.
00:54 You also add torque vectoring to the rear end.
00:57 We actually ran the numbers.
00:58 So most performance metrics drop by about a tenth of a second
01:01 but most importantly, our figure eight number drops
01:03 from 23.5 seconds to 23.3 and that's actually significant.
01:08 First of all, that's incredibly quick
01:11 and dropping any time on the figure eight
01:12 means overall performance has been increased.
01:15 This particular car is also equipped
01:18 with four-wheel steering and carbon ceramic brakes.
01:22 Now, part of the idea of the T
01:23 is that it's the lightest 911 you can buy
01:26 and we weighed it, it is,
01:27 and it's exactly four pounds lighter than the base car.
01:32 I think I ate four pounds for breakfast.
01:33 Anyhow, you can also see this car is optioned
01:37 with a, honest to goodness, seven-speed manual transmission.
01:40 They really should have just done a six-speed
01:42 and made six gear that much taller.
01:43 You don't need seven speeds on a manual.
01:45 How is the car, now that all the stats are out of the way?
01:49 Completely, totally, wonderfully brilliant.
01:52 Only Porsche could, you know,
01:54 add not much to their base car and make it this good.
