00:00 Eddie Howe has spoken to the media ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League game with
00:06 British Ed Dortmund. He said everything you really expect. He's obviously expecting a
00:11 very tough game but he now acknowledged that they've put themselves in a very good position
00:16 in the group. He was asked about Sandro Tonali, of course, potentially facing a long suspension
00:24 of football but he said that as long as he's available he will be up for selection, much
00:28 like he was on Saturday. We saw Joe Linton, Bruno and Sean Longstaff come into that midfield.
00:34 Tonali will face a battle to get on that team but as Eddie Howe suggests, if he's available
00:39 for selection then he will be considered. He mentioned that Joe Willock is close to
00:45 return, maybe not on Wednesday night but that will be coming soon. It's all looking positive
00:49 for Newcastle who a win would put them on seven points and a very good chance of at
00:53 least extending their journey in Europe going forward. Sean Longstaff also spoke about the
00:59 fact that two and a half years ago the club were in such a different position, how completely
01:04 different it is now. It will be a big night for him. He scored against PSG, of course,
01:08 scored again in the weekend against Crystal Palace so it's going to be another really
01:12 important night for him. Newcastle have seen James Parker getting ready for another massive
01:19 Champions League game. They showed against PSG what the fans can have. Obviously the
01:24 display here, I don't want to spoil it too much, but the display again looks fantastic
01:27 so that will be a brilliant sight to see. I'd seen James Parker on Wednesday night and
01:32 Newcastle are going for a second win, a second home win. If they can get that win, that would
01:37 be seven points from three games, they would have very much took that when they were drawn
01:41 against PSG, Dortmund and AC Milan. So ahead of another tough game, I think hopes are high
01:46 that they can at least have another positive match and really stamp their mark on this
01:52 Champions League group and hopefully it will be another one where it will be another memorable
01:57 night under the lights here at St James' Park.
