00:02 I didn't know anything about this dog.
00:08 And so the only thing that I could do
00:10 is present myself as somebody who is safe.
00:14 Every day for the span of two weeks,
00:19 I would walk in and I would sit down
00:22 and I would feed him his breakfast, lunch,
00:25 and dinner by hand.
00:27 And that's just what we did.

00:30 I felt the wound underneath his chin from the zip tie.
00:35 I'm relieved that we caught him,
00:39 but there's so much work that needs to be done.
00:43 I got a call about a dog that had a zip tie
00:52 around his muzzle.
00:54 It's one of those calls that you are like, what?
00:58 In that moment, I knew we have to just go.
01:01 I knew that I needed to explore a different option.
01:14 The next day, we came back out and they reset the traps.
01:27 Pinky Paw's search and rescue
01:29 was the brains behind all of this.
01:32 We watched him circle around this crate.
01:36 He was really smart about it.
01:37 He'd walk past the front of it
01:39 and then come around the back.
01:40 Every moment that he takes a step into the crate,
01:44 like you just hold your breath.
01:45 You just hope that he's gonna take that one extra step.
01:48 Yeah, like it happened, we did it.

01:54 It took me two weeks before I introduced him to the crew.
02:07 There was a pivotal moment that happened.
02:17 Did a little like mini nibble on a toy.
02:20 He had zero interest in toys whatsoever.
02:23 And I'm like, that was fun.
02:25 That was a little playful size.
02:27 The last human that touched him
02:39 put a zip tie around his muzzle.
02:42 Beckham's still learning how to be a dog.
02:48 He has the perfect family to teach him how to do that.
