00:11 There is a new so-called dangerous maneuvers and harassment by China against the Philippine ships.

00:19 In the last resupply mission in Yungin Shoal,

00:22 the Philippine Coast Guard surrounded four ships of China.

00:26 China is saying that the Philippines will only enter their territory.

00:32 Chino Gaston is on the scene.

00:37 Three Chinese fishing militia vessels and one ship of the China Coast Guard

00:41 surrounded the Philippine Coast Guard ship in the last resupply mission in Yungin Shoal inside the Philippine EEZ.

00:49 The ship in the middle surrounded by four ships of China is the BRB Cabra

00:55 which is part of the resupply mission with the BRP Sindangan,

00:58 the larger offshore patrol vessel BRP Melchor Aquino,

01:02 and the resupply vessels of UNIZA May 1 and ML Kalayaan.

01:07 The harassment happened near Yungin Shoal past 7 in the morning.

01:12 According to the National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea,

01:14 at one point, the Chinese Coast Guard used a parao of water cannons and ML Kalayaan.

01:20 The rigid-hull inflatable boats of CCG chased UNIZA May 1.

01:25 Despite this, the two resupply ships of BRP Sierra Madre arrived safely and successfully.

01:32 Even though the Yungin Shoal is inside the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines,

01:37 the Chinese Coast Guard is saying that the Philippines resupply ships trespassed

01:42 because they entered the waters of the Philippines without permission.

01:47 China is calling on the Philippines to stop trespassing.

01:51 They also promised to continue law enforcement activities

01:55 to protect their sovereignty and rights in the area.

01:59 The National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea

02:02 also pursued what they called unprovoked acts of coercion and dangerous maneuvers against the Philippine ships.

02:09 The Philippine Embassy and Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing protested against what happened.

02:15 And through the DFA, they also asked the Chinese vessels to be removed from the Yungin Shoal.
