00:00 "What do you know, you're a door. You just like knock-knock jokes."
00:06 Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the moments and quotes
00:10 that made us think, "Could I be any more Chandler?"
00:13 "Should I use my invisibility to fight crime or for evil?"
00:21 Number 10. We never run into Beyonce
00:23 If the world is as small as they say, why have we never run into anyone super cool and
00:28 famous? Just as he and Monica are about to close on their new home, they decide to check
00:33 out the house next door.
00:34 "The house next door to the one we're buying in Westchester just went on the market. I
00:38 want to take a look at it, but Chandler doesn't."
00:40 "We close escrow tomorrow, so seeing another house can only confuse us."
00:44 While looking around, they meet the person who could become their new neighbor.
00:47 "What do they like?"
00:48 "Oh, the woman upstairs is very nice. She and her husband have two kids. He's on Wall
00:52 Street and she's on…"
00:54 "Oh my God!"
00:57 Janice is delighted by the reunion, but Chandler doesn't exactly share her excitement. Why
01:02 is it that the world is only small when we run into the people we can't seem to shake
01:05 off? Yet when we even just think about meeting that special someone, suddenly it becomes
01:11 so much bigger.
01:12 "What a small world!"
01:13 "And yet I never run into Beyonce."
01:16 We're with Chandler. So unfair.
01:21 Number 9. Wondering if you'd have better dating luck elsewhere
01:25 Thanks to apps and online dating, we now have more control over how far we want to cast
01:30 our dating net. Even so, many of us still wonder if we'd have better luck finding our
01:34 special someone if we moved elsewhere.
01:36 "Is everybody working really hard?"
01:37 "Uh, well no, it's just me and Wendy."
01:39 "Wendy? That sounds like a girl's name."
01:43 "It is. Did I not tell you about her?"
01:47 Chandler rethinks his dating history after his colleague Wendy hits on him while they're
01:51 alone in the Tulsa office during the holidays.
01:53 "Oh, well, she's just got this weird idea that, uh, you know, just because you and I
01:57 are alone that something's gonna happen."
01:58 "Huh? Really? Hm. That be so terrible?"
02:05 He's surprised by her attention and wonders if perhaps his better qualities are more appreciated
02:10 in Oklahoma. We totally get it. How many bad dates, left swipes, and zero matches can you
02:15 endure before you start considering whether a change of address may be the answer?
02:19 "I'm not used to girls making passes at me. Wait a minute. Am I sexy in Oklahoma?"
02:26 "You're to me."
02:28 Number 8. Being embarrassed by a parent.
02:31 When someone becomes a parent, are they given a handbook on how to embarrass their children?
02:36 Because it sure seems like it.
02:37 "Your mom was arrested?"
02:38 "Shh! We're busy beaming with pride."
02:40 "Oh, okay."
02:41 Okay, so not all of us have folks who share intimate details of our lives and theirs on
02:46 national television. Still, most of us know the feeling of being mortified by something
02:51 our parents have said or done all too well.
02:54 "Occasionally, after I've been intimate with a man."
02:57 "Now why would you say that's embarrassing?"
03:00 "I just get this craving for Kung Pao chicken."
03:04 "That's too much information!"
03:07 Watching this scene where Chandler's mom gives such candid answers during her interview with
03:11 Jay Leno sure makes us grateful for our family's anonymity. Still, who can't relate to having
03:16 a relative say something so painfully humiliating that you wish you could just burst into flames?
03:21 "I bought my son his first condoms."
03:23 "And then he burst into flames."
03:33 Number 7. Not knowing when to stop talking.
03:36 This one will resonate with the more socially awkward among us. Although, chances are we've
03:40 all been there at some point. While Chandler is well-known for his quick, inviting wit,
03:44 he sometimes misses the mark on social interactions.
03:47 "Monica warned me you might do that."
03:50 But don't worry, he's painfully self-aware, as many of us tend to be.
03:55 "I tend to keep talking until somebody stops me."
04:00 In fact, in the uncut version of the one with the fake party, he proudly declares,
04:04 "I say more dumb things before 9am than most people say all day."
04:08 He also uses humor as a defense mechanism in awkward situations, like when he and Monica
04:13 run into Richard on their big date. He really couldn't be any more relatable.
04:18 "And you don't have a mustache, which is good. I'm Chandler, I make jokes when I'm
04:24 uncomfortable."
04:25 Number 6. Feeling uncomfortable during emotional moments.
04:30 As we just said, Chandler often uses his sense of humor to mask his feelings. During Rachel's
04:35 going-away party, she takes each of her friends, minus Ross, aside for a personal farewell.
04:40 When it's Chandler's turn, he quickly interrupts her to share how he truly feels before his
04:44 defense mechanism kicks in.
04:45 "I just want to say that I love you. And I'm gonna miss you. And I'm so sad that you're
04:55 leaving."
04:56 It's a sweet moment, but before the first tear has finished rolling down our cheek,
05:00 he ruins the vibe with a classic Chandler gag. Sometimes it's easier to turn to levity
05:05 rather than sit in our pain and sorrow. Not everyone feels comfortable showing vulnerability
05:09 either.
05:10 "Not so tight."
05:11 "Oh!"
05:12 But you know what? It's so Chandler, which makes the perfect goodbye.
05:16 "I'm sorry, I'll just give you one more chance."
05:17 "Okay."
05:18 "Okay."
05:19 "Oh!"
05:20 "I'm sorry. Just go. Just go. I can't. I can't."
05:27 Number 5. He's hopeless and awkward and desperate for love.
05:31 Affairs of the heart can get messy, and perhaps no one knows that better than Chandler. We
05:36 all winced when he tried to break up with Janice in season one, although we're not sure
05:40 whether it's because it's excruciatingly awkward to watch or because we've been there ourselves.
05:45 "Hi, Janice. Okay, here we go. I don't think we should go out anymore. Janice."
05:56 As confused as we were when they eventually got back together, we also kind of understood.
06:01 The idea of getting back with an ex when we've been single for too long has definitely crossed
06:05 our minds, too. But when he's finally ready to commit to the relationship, he comes on
06:10 a little strong, scaring off Janice.
06:12 "I've scared you. I've said too much. I'm hopeless and awkward and desperate for love."
06:19 Us too, Chandler. Us too.
06:22 Number 4. When the food is so good.
06:25 We think Joey speaks for all of us when he says,
06:28 "Joey doesn't share food!"
06:30 But he's not the only Friends character who understands the value of a good meal, or in
06:36 this case, dessert.
06:37 "Yeah, the cheesecake came. They delivered it to the wrong address again."
06:41 "So, just bring it back downstairs. What's the problem?"
06:45 "I can't seem to say goodbye."
06:47 When Chandler finds a cheesecake outside the apartment, he can't resist tucking in. He
06:52 gets Rachel to taste it, too, and soon enough, they both crave more. Eventually, they give
06:56 in to their sweet tooth, prompting Chandler to say,
06:59 "I'm full. And yet I know if I stop eating this, I'll regret it."
07:05 Relatable. Sometimes food is just so good that nothing will stop you from cleaning your
07:09 plate in its entirety. You know that one dish you'll unbutton your pants for? Or get Thanksgiving
07:14 maternity pants for, so you feel less restricted?
07:17 "This side looks bigger. Uh, look at this. More crust on this side. Yeah, so."
07:23 "Even if I measure…"
07:24 "Oh, for God's sake, just pick a piece!"
07:27 "Alright, pick that."
07:28 We're practically salivating just thinking about it.
07:32 Number 3. You come to Chandler for jokes, not advice.
07:36 Not all friends are built the same. Some are better at making you laugh, some are great
07:40 when you need a comforting shoulder to cry on, and others are good at offering advice.
07:44 "David, let me stop you there, because I think I see where this is going. I'm not
07:47 very good at giving advice. See, if you want advice, go to Ross, Monica, or Joey."
07:54 We would say that Chandler fits neatly into that first category. So we can understand
07:58 his confusion when Rachel asks him for advice about her relationship with Joey. If you're
08:03 anything like Chandler, you probably feel as flustered as he looks when anyone turns
08:07 to you for answers.
08:08 "I know it's tough now, but things will get better."
08:11 "How do you know that? What if it just gets worse and worse and worse, to the point where
08:16 we can't even be in the same room with each other?"
08:18 But as Chandler taught us, if you're not great at doling out advice, it's always worth
08:22 having a sarcastic comment on hand. Or, at the very least, some cheese.
08:27 "I'm not great at the advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? Some cheese."
08:36 Number 2. Sticking to a fitness program.
08:40 Raise your hand if you have a gym membership. Keep it raised if you actually use it. Those
08:45 of us who lowered our hands probably feel like that arm-raising activity was enough
08:49 of a workout for now. It probably also means that you relate strongly to Chandler here,
08:54 too.
08:55 "Are you a gym member, Bernard?"
08:56 "Oh yeah, gym member. I try to go four times a week, but I've missed the last 1,200 times."
09:04 We all promise ourselves we'll start going one day, but in the meantime, the only thing
09:09 being tightened is our bank accounts.
09:11 "So why don't you quit?"
09:12 "You don't think I've tried? You think I like having $50 taken out of my bank account
09:20 every month?"
09:22 Most don't ever expect to find us at the gym on Sundays. Chandler's right. That's
09:26 a day for resting.
09:27 "Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Monica, it's Sunday morning. I'm not running on
09:34 a Sunday."
09:35 "Why not?"
09:36 "Because it's Sunday!"
09:39 Maybe the motivation will finally strike one day, but so far, it hasn't been our day,
09:43 our week, our month, or even our year.
09:46 "Okay, they're gonna take $50 a month out of our accounts for the rest of our lives.
09:51 What are we gonna do?"
09:52 "Well, you could actually go to the gym."
09:59 Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
10:03 Processing emotions. Hey, not all of us wear our hearts on our sleeves. We get it.
10:08 "Chandler, I don't care if you can't cry. I love you."
10:10 "Oh, that makes me feel so warm in my hollow tin chest."
10:15 Telling a white lie for the sake of his relationship. The things we'll do for love, eh?
10:19 "Chandler, if it really hurts that bad, you should just tell her."
10:22 "Look, for the first time in my life, I'm in a real relationship, okay? I'm not gonna
10:26 screw that up by, you know, telling the truth."
10:29 Why he doesn't dance at weddings. This is why our dance parties take place in the privacy
10:34 of our own rooms.
10:35 "Yeah, well, I don't dance at weddings."
10:38 "Why not?"
10:39 "Because weddings are a great place to meet women, and when I dance, I look like this."
10:46 Calling out privilege. If you haven't used this quote, you've at least thought about
10:50 it. We know we have.
10:51 "Oh, I know. This must be so hard. Oh no, two women love me. They're both gorgeous and
10:58 sexy. My wall is too small for my 50s, and my diamond shoes are too tight."
11:04 Being relatably awkward. Been there, done that. Felt the cringe big time.
11:08 "Gum would be perfection. Could've said gum would be nice. Could've said I'll have a stick,
11:13 but no, no, no, no, no. For me, gum is perfection. I loathe myself."

11:39 Number 1. Figuring out what he wants to do in life.
11:42 Not knowing what you want to do with your life is probably one of the most universally
11:46 relatable frustrations of adulthood.
11:48 "And why should I be the only one who doesn't get to do what he really wants to do?"
11:51 "Well, what do you really want to do?"
11:53 "I have not thought this through."
11:57 There's always so much pressure to have things figured out by a certain age, but in reality,
12:01 few people do. After years as a transponster, Chandler quits his job to pursue his passion.
12:08 Only he doesn't know what that is.
12:10 "I've got nowhere to go this morning. I'm unemployed. I don't know what I'm going to
12:14 do with my life."
12:15 The overwhelming anxiety that comes with finding our path and then dealing with resumes, interviews,
12:20 and rejections is something many of us know all too well.
12:24 "What am I supposed to do with myself?"
12:26 "You're supposed to find your passion in life. You can be whatever you want to be now. It's
12:31 exciting."
12:32 "But it's all so overwhelming. I mean, I don't know where to start."
12:35 Still, if Chandler could start his journey in his 30s, we felt reassured that we didn't
12:40 have to have everything figured out yet either.
12:42 Which Chandler moment do you think couldn't be more relatable? Sharing it in the comments
12:46 would be perfection.
12:47 "Thank you, that was… that was…"
12:52 "Perfection."
