00:00 Hi I'm Laura Reid, the Deputy Features Editor at the Yorkshire Post. I've just
00:04 come on to talk you through some of the things that are likely to be
00:07 making headlines in the week ahead. So in politics the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt
00:14 is set to deliver his autumn statement and he said within that he would address
00:18 labour supply issues and business investment. He's due to deliver it on
00:23 November the 22nd and he's described it as a statement for growth, arguing
00:28 that the government is starting to win the battle against inflation and he
00:32 can now focus on the next stage. He told the Commons last week that he would
00:39 address labour supply issues to help fill vacancies and that he would also
00:44 focus on increasing business investment because despite the fact growth
00:50 has been faster than many of European neighbours he said, the productivity
00:54 levels are still lower. In sport, Ronnie O'Sullivan, one of the sport's most
01:01 legendary players, is the focus of a new documentary that's being released
01:05 this week. It covers the snooker player's triumph in 2021 at the Crucible in
01:12 Sheffield but also goes behind the scenes and charts his success from a
01:15 teenager to snooker's greatest ever player. O'Sullivan said that his highs and lows
01:21 have previously been well documented by the media but he felt like now was the
01:25 right time to do something more definitive, something that he could look
01:28 back and reflect on as he contemplates retirement. In Yorkshire, Malton is set to
01:35 have its inaugural St Clement's Festival this week to celebrate the crafts people
01:39 of the town. The event on November 25th is also set to be a celebration of
01:43 harvest, music, autumn and of St Clement, the patron of blacksmiths. There's a
01:50 variety of activities planned through the day including sculpture and art
01:53 trails, light shows and musical performances. And finally in television,
01:59 Doctor Who's BBC centenary special delivered quite the twist last year when
02:04 Yorkshire-born Jodie Whittaker's 13th Doctor regenerated into David Tennant.
02:09 Now he's set to return to screens this week as the 14th Doctor alongside
02:14 Catherine Tate as Donna Noble for Doctor Who's 60th anniversary specials.
02:20 The TARDIS returns from Saturday with the first of three specials titled
02:24 'The Star Beast' and the first episode of Doctor Who was actually aired 60 years
02:30 ago on the 23rd of November 1963.
